The location and setting was absolutely beautiful. Entered a long winding drive through the electric gates so impressive from the get go. Passing through woodland and fields of Alpaca and miniature ponies we arrived at The Stables. Plenty of parking so easy to get your bags to your room. We were number 8 which was a little corner plot with a low walled patio, little bistro table and chairs outside which was perfect for us. Inside a beautiful room with bed, bedside tables and lamps, small table and chairs to sit at, kitchenette with everything and more that we needed. Bathroom with a lovely double walk in shower. Complimentary tea, coffee, milk and sugar along with a basket of pastries and jams. We were lucky enough to bond with two adjacent stables and enjoyed a great afternoon of chat and wine and then we decided to share an Indian takeout. Everything you need is on the doorstep, a stones throw away from NEC but you are in the most beautiful, tranquil place.

The bed was nice and comfy, plenty of pillows. The shower and toilet was really clean and nice to use, plenty of tea bags and the scenery was fantastic outside. The llamas and ponys on the drive in were lovely and had my partner commenting on them. Honestly could say so much more great things about this place but im exhausted from driving.

Honestly there wasnt alot to not like, woke up to the radiator on for some reason and couldn't understand why (we had the fan on all night because it was warm but not uncomfortable) thats literally the only thing i could say, and maybe it was something we did

A lovely relaxing place to spend a couple of nights, whilst attending a two day event at the nearby NEC with my wife. The basket containing croissants, waffles and pain au chocolats was a lovely extra, which we exjoyed for our first breakfast. The room was very comfortable and quiet, with views across the fields during the day. On our second evening, we drove to the nearby Black Boy pub right on the Grand Union Canal for a relaxing dinner and drink. Would definitely consider coming back!

Overall we were very happy. Perhaps only the unusual tea bags - not sure what they are, but not to our taste! Some regular 'English breakfast' bags would have been perfect :)

It was a budget room in an unusual location but exactly as described. Access to the site and room were easy. The room was as described when I booked and the en-suite shower was perfect for my needs. My rating is brought down by my score for the staff, but as I didn't meet anyone it's hard to comment. I had contact numbers and I'm sure based on everything else I saw I would have been looked after if I need anything.

Nothing to mention here - it was as described and met my needs perfectly, travel solo on business with a need to be in Solihull early morning for an intense day of training.

The rooms are converted stables on a horse farm. Good value for money and in a lovely, rural location. Good heating system, which made the stay comfortable. Outside is a small patio with table and chairs. This will be great for stays when the weather gets warmer. Besides horses, the farm also has Alpacas.

The bathroom is on the small side, albeit with a good size double shower. Being 6'4" tall, the bed was a problem as it had both a head and foot board, which made it rather cramped for me. I appreciate that this won't affect a large proportion of the population, but important to know if you are tall. Otherwise, a comfortable bed. The driveway had a lot of potholes, which could do with some attention.

A lovely, quiet farm with horses stabled close by. Great room with basic kitchenette good for a night. The proprietors were friendly and helpful and made us and our dog feel welcome. We needed a little more space as our dog is crated and they were quick to move out a small table and chair so we had this. Ideal for the NEC where we visited in under 30 minutes.

The pictures made everything look a bit bigger than it was and the kitchenette was not aimed at self-catering but suitable for 1 or 2 nights maximum (our stay was 2 nights and we ate out one night so perfect).

What a lovely, quaint place to stay. It’s very rural. The directions were easy to follow to get there. You need a car to get about from The Stables. The room was cosy, comfortable, very clean and warm. The shower was powerful. There are some nice pubs to eat in just a short drive away. We stayed there for two nights whilst we went to the NEC which was only a short drive away.

The shower made the bathroom damp and there wasn’t any heating working in the bathroom to dry it out. It wasn’t a cold bathroom, just needed extra heat to dry the floor.

Although the details stated breakfast was not provided there were croissants, waffles, jams & butter to help us start the day along with the tea & coffee which was very welcome. The room & bathroom were plenty big enough for 2 adults & the facilities adequate with lots of nice touches. The information sent by the owners prior to our arrival also helped - codes for the gate & room door along with directions. There is no reception. We did struggle to find the property a bit as it was a very dark & wet evening & it is in a remote area (but this made it nice and quiet too which is what we like). Knowle is not far away so we had a nice evening meal in the town and the NEC is also within reasonable distance which was the reason for us visiting the area.

The track from the road to the stables is rough with a lot of potholes but this would not put us off staying again and the main entrance was a bit difficult to spot in bad weather.

Location. Information. Additional ‘breakfast’ although not mentioned on website. I’ll be back! I did find the property difficult to locate in the dark. But I persevered and all was well. Everything was perfect. I had an excellent rest / night’s sleep, and I’m am an insomniac and have been for 52 years!!

Location / signage, especially in the dark. I used the postcode and could be more precise so I ended up driving up and down the road very slowly to find the entrance. The communication before my arrival was exceptional. I’m also glad I was driving a 4x4. My other car is a Mercedes SLK. I don’t think it would have done well down the long drive.

The location was perfect, out of the way enough to avoid the hustle and bustle, but still a short 10-15 minute trip to anything we could need or want for. Out hosts were friendly and accommodating, even going so far as to let us use their laundry room (we are travelling around a lot and can't always find a laundromat). The rooms were cosy and warm. And the animals on the property were an absolute joy.

The bed and pillows were quite firm. We got use to it by day 3, but the first couple of nights were a bit harder to get comfortable with.
