The rooms were really comfortable and perfect for me and my son. We would hang in my room in the evening and play tri-dominoes. All the staff were super friendly and made us feel very welcome at all times. Breakfast was included in the room price they make a very good sausage and egg muffin! The hotel is 2 minutes from Dorridge railway station that runs trains down to London (in two hours) and up to Birmingham and beyond. There is a Sainsburys right next door (for stocking up on snacks). The Forest is placed in the perfect location! I would definitely stay there again.

The parking was a challenge. There is not really enough parking if you are coming and going throughout the day (especially on a Sunday lunchtime) and the parking spots are super-tight. I think it would be much easier to park if the parking spots were at a slant. A cold breakfast is served before 9:00AM and a hot one after that. Would have really liked to have had a hot breakfast served from 8:30AM. We were on vacation and a couple of days we had a train to catch at 9:30AM.

Located right opposite rail station ! Was unexpectedly surprised by the quality of the food in the restaurant. We had organised a post funeral wake and the staff were very sweet

Could have done without the music playing the the garden outside. You can either have pretensions rules about dress code and real flowers or not rules about clothing and plastic flowers but not both surely !

Staff were very friendly, attentive, food offered very tasty, great breakfast. Nespresso machine in room. Complimentary water. Free standing mirror very nice. Nice large white towels. No extra charge for room service from bar. Reasonably priced food and beverages.

No air conditioning during heat wave, very difficult to sleep just one fan. Bed wasn’t that comfortable. Poor ventilation for bathroom. Mould around bath tub, no hand held shower option. Room not cleaned properly, found dust on table. Nowhere that is easy to use mirror with good lighting and plug point - difficult to do make up and hair.

location for my needs was excellent with good free parking. staff very friendly and welcoming. bedroom was very comfortable and well equipped. received a phone call from receptionist to check everything was ok with the room once I’d checked in - a nice touch.

the room whilst very nice was on top floor 3 steep flights of stairs no lift (I’ve had a full knee replacement 10 weeks ago) - although staff helped with my luggage. the shower in the bedroom was incredibly poor given the room price (£147 b&b) - nothing worse than a very low pressure trickle and not easy to get temperature right. I was disappointed that a hot breakfast (full English) was only available from 9am onwards!! again price point - this was surprising- that said the continental breakfast was very good and ample.

The location is very convenient, next to the train station. The staff was friendly. Continental breakfast was delicious. Hotel was clean and inviting.

The bed was very firm (our room was room one). The only window that could open was in the bathroom so our room got kind of stuffy in the night. Thankfully the room had a little fan.

We had breakfast and dinner both were delicious. The hotel was a great find and we'll be back. Great atmosphere, lovely very helpful and attentive staff. Room 2 was lovely and we had a great rest. Good location also as there are some quaint shops nearby. Katie was lovely on check-in as was Andy on checkout, nothing was too much trouble, they even provided ice for my wrist! They accommodated us for dinner and Grace served us at dinner and made us feel welcome. Parking is available. Overall a fabulous experience.

The King Rooms are probably the most comfortable rooms in the hotel, it’s got it’s own stair access. The concierge team was lovely too. The rooms are spacious and comfortable - love the little touches in our room.

The water pressure is not up par to standard, shower took ages. The neighbours on Room 12 were noisy and kept banging on the doors in the middle of the night. Everyone pretty much has access to call every room, so in the middle of the night after falling asleep, the phone rang so I answered it - they hung up in an instant. I couldn’t sleep after that and ruined my sleep.

Used to live in the area many, many years ago so knew Forest Hotel. It has recently had a very impressive renovation and all the staff and facilities are absolutely first class. Big shout out to all the staff that looked after us during our stay - the attention to detail and genuine care for this customers is exceptional and rare. Very well done to you all!

Very welcoming staff in this small boutique hotel. We enjoyed a lovely afternoon lunch when we arrived and a very nice freshly cooked breakfast the following day. Nice atmosphere in the bar at evening time. The hotel has a great location in the centre of lovely Dorridge village.

It was spacious, location was good. Room was fantastic with everything we required.

Parking was an issue. When we arrived there was no parking spaces available due to parties happening at the hotel, so we then had to park a few hundred metres away which isn’t ideal.
