The room was well equipped with plenty of plugs near mirrors! Tea\coffee facilities, hairdryer, iron and board. Good bathroom with powerful shower although the taps were hard to work out! Breakfast was good although some fruit would have been good. We had a lovely meal there in the evening. Location was great as everywhere was walkable from there but a little noisy from people outside although that`s expected with a town location. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

The pub closed at 9pm on the Tuesday night and we would have liked a drink there after the theatre before going to bed.

This is a very conveniently located place to stay. Our beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was nicely finished and very clean. In fact the room and the bathroom looked exactly as they are show in the pictures on the Booking.com website; nicely presented and pretty spacious. The staff were friendly. We had breakfast on our last morning which was very good - we just had bacon sandwiches but the bread was tasty and the portion of bacon very generous. Although the rooms are next to the pub, so you get some noise from the pub until closing time, during the night it was actually very quiet.

The fan wasn't working in the bathroom, and there is no fridge in the room.

Beautiful room, well equipped (hairdryer, kettle, etc - everything you might expect, though lacking a fridge) and quiet despite being above a pub! Really enjoyed the high ceiling, exposed beams and well considered decor.

Some of the light fittings were bent so had to bend it back a bit to stop it from flopping around, and the shower drain backed up a little (but not too bad). Also be aware that the rooms above the pub are accessed via a fairly steep staircase and a narrow corridor with uneven flooring - just an aspect of staying in an older building. Overall though a very pleasant stay!

The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was beautifully decorated, every need was met, plenty of lights, comfortable bed and pillows. Room heater, heated towel rail in the shower room. Eco liquid soap and shower gel dispenser. Huge shower head, in the walk in shower. Desk, hair dryer, iron & board, suitcase stand. The breakfasts were delicious and freshly cooked. Continental breakfast laid out ready. The meals in the restaurant were fabulous! So full of flavour and beautifully presented. Excellent value for money and a lovely atmosphere throughout. We will happily stay there again!

It was priced well and the room and bathroom was a good size. Excellent location to all the main sights. We stayed in room 6, these stairs were just one straight flight - far easier to access our room compared to many other places we stayed in.

The breakfast was a bad experience. Needs some improvement here as it put us off trying the dinner. We ended up paying to have breakfast elsewhere the next day even though it was included in our price. Other than that, for the price, it was a good room.

Great location close to town centre. Very clean, spacious room. Free parking. Friendly staff. Staff located an item I left in the room and are posting to me.

The only issue was that our room ( 4 ) had an adjoining door to the next room ( locked ), which meant that noise carried easily from the next door room. The person in that room for our stay was quiet but we could hear the kettle boiling, the bathroom taps/toilet and when she was using her phone we could hear the whole conversation.

The room was clean and nicely decorated. The hotel was in a great position in Stratford, opposite the river and close to shops and entertainment. Staff were very helpful. A fridge in the room would have been handy, but because we were only here one night, it wasn't an issue. Breakfast was good. Would stay again.

Didn't like the stairs being outside where the rooms are. Would be nicer if indoors, but staff were very helpful with taking luggage upstairs for us.

Breakfast were outstanding and the service was second to none the food was cooked fresh while you had your cereal The only drawback was the room we were allocated was up some outside steps (room 6) and my wife being disabled struggled getting up there you could do with at least 2 ground floor rooms The location of the pub/restaurant is quite superb for easy walking to most sights like the RSC

Perfect location just across from the river in Stratford everything was within easy walking distance. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Lovely friendly staff.

Not a negative really just a note that some of the rooms (ours included) are in an annexe not the main building but everything was secure & we didn’t encounter any issues it just may not be for everyone.

The team were lovely at check-in and breakfast. Had a nice meal in the pub. Modern room & bathroom decor. Room had everything I needed. Plenty of space to put things in room & bathroom. Near the road, but room was really quiet. 2 minute walk to the plaza for the conference I was attending. Would definitely stay again.

It was by no means dirty, but just a few bits like corners of bathroom & skirting dusty.
