We stayed 2 nights at The Swans Nest Hotel was absolutely wonderful, first impression was lovely. Staff were welcoming & very polite & gave us all the information we needed. Decoration beautiful & very Clean , we were very impressed with our room. It was gorgeous. Breakfast delicious , everything you wanted & more. We had an evening meal celebrating my husbands birthday & the young man & young lady waiting on were great. They secretly put candles on pudding that asked them to do & sang to my husband. ( they did ask if he would mind ) food again delicious & reasonable. We would definitely recommend & go again. Many thanks to all there ***** Sammie & Les 🥂🍾🎉🥰

The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect for walking into the centre of town. Ample parking with EV chargers if required. Our room was on the road, and above the Bistrot and Pub, so we were aware that there would be some noise, however it didn't affect our stay, plus we had the bonus of a lovely view of the river and bridge. Breakfast was delicious with a great selection of hot food, plus additional toast, pastries etc if desired. Also a great surprise is the fact you get 10% off food and drink if you're a guest.

I loved everything, but if I had to say something, then perhaps the bedroom could do with a bit of a facelift!

The hotel is in the perfect location for everything in Stratford-upon-Avon.The bedroom was very comfortable. It has airconditioning which on a sweltering day was appreciated. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and inviting. The Reception Staff made every effort to make your stay as memorable as possible, pointing out all attractions, routes to use etc. The breakfast food was excellently presented and very tasty.

It is quite a rambling hotel, with long corridors and not too easy to find your way in from the carpark to reception and then from there to the bedroom. There was confusion over our breakfast tab being mislaid which wasn't handled well by the restaurant staff, however the reception staff member did all he could to rectify the mishap which was much appreciated. I personally would have preferred a shower with both the drench facility and a separate hand held attachment so that I didn't get my hair soaked every shower but that's being picky as there was everything in the room you could want including biscuits with lots of different teas & coffee.

The hotel is the perfect location for exploring Stratford on Avon. Everything is just a short, picturesque walk away. The on-site restaurant, separate pub (The Bear) and comfortable lounge area offer convenient choices, whatever the weather or time of day. It's our favourite place to stay.

Our room this time had no drawer space to put underwear, t-shirts etc which meant keeping clothes that would not hang in the wardrobe in our suitcase. A minor inconvenience but we never feel truly 'away' if we don't fully unpack.

Lovely spacious room with air-conditioning plus an electric fan which was welcomed as it was very hot. Bathroom had a bath and walk in shower. King size bed not too bad comfort wise. Best was the very helpful staff, especially the ladies on reception, they were wonderful. Breakfast was good and so was they evening meal Bistro Pierre and there again the staff were helpful and accommodating. Location was great near to the river and a sort walk to the shops etc. Thought it might have been noisy as we were in a room near the road but it was quiet at night, just shut the secondary double glazing all fine. Would definitely stay again if in area.

paying for parking. I do like a top sheet, as duvet can be too hot but not many places do that, suppose it is extra washing.

Nice hotel in a perfect location. Room was a good size & very clean. All the staff we encountered were pleasant & professional.

The temperature of the room (Room 45) When we first opened the door the heat hit us. We thought someone had put the heating on. We opened every window immediately although they were all restricted. We then saw 3 fans in the room which gave us a clue this could be uncomfortably hot. Sleeping was just about impossible. The fans only moved the hot air around the room. We both agreed out of the 100’s of hotels we have stayed in that this was easily our worst night. We loved the hotel & would definitely visit again but would request an air conditioned room.

The location of the Swan's Nest may be its signature feature. It is next to the river and convenient to the pedestrian bridge that takes you into the center of town. It is also couldn't be any more convenient for accessing the path along the river. Everything you want to see in Stratford-upon-Avon is within a short walk of the hotel. We had dinner one night at the Bear (their pub) sitting outside and it was really pleasant. There was just one young lad working the pub that night (it was after the normal dinner hour but still busy) and from our observation he kept everything running very smoothly. We didn't eat at the French restaurant at the hotel, but had dessert (Tarte Tartin) later one evening that we took to our room; it was delicious. Our room had the expected amenities and was very comfortable. They also have a car park attached to the hotel and it was perfect. If we were to come to this city again, we would definitely book the Swan's Nest.

Good choice of breakfast and quick service. Room was comfortable and clean with complimentary drinking water each day. A kettle and tea, coffee making materials were also provided in the room. The location was spot on, short walk over a bridge and we were in town, near the RSC theatre, Sheep Street, Tudor world and shops and restaurants.

We booked a stay and stipulated breakfast to be included. Our invoice then stated breakfast was extra and we only booked room only. There was some confusion regarding this and our final bill was over £60 more than booking.com had originally stated.

We stayed for a couple of nights as we were getting married at the registry office in Stratford. We had a lovely dinner and the staff were great to accommodate my gluten and dairy intolerances. The room was spacious, the beds are big and nice and offered a tranquil environment to get ready for our special day.

Breakfast is not great, they offer a continental breakfast and a choice of a cooked breakfast. The continental it's not too bad, but the cooked one has no quality and was poorly cooked and served. We mentioned we were getting married and it would have definitely added to the whole experience to have had a little detail in our room for it, as many hotels do.

Staff were very welcoming and proactive. They were happy to change our room and did so with warmth and understanding. Thank you Flora. Breakfast was well cooked with enough range, eggs cooked to order. Bar snacks and drinks were enjoyable. The rooms had nice bed linen and a range of pillows. Location is great, a short walk over the river into town. Parking, though, charged, is not expensive and so could leave it for our two day stay.

Room 66 has an extractor fan attached to the outer wall which comes on at 6am as the kitchen. If you're a light sleeper this may be an issue. Please note, the hotel were happy to move us.
