Great location, friendly staff, nice food in The Bear and in the bistro for breakfast. Fabulously comfy bed and pillows. Good choice of toiletries and beverages in the room. Handy to have a fridge too. Walking distance into town, lovely setting around the hotel. Parking on site

The Bear pub could do with a bit of TLC, there were ripped chairs, light bulbs that didn't work and peeling paint, plus some of the tables needed a good clean. Also at breakfast some of tables were cleared but not clean or reset. Just attention to detail otherwise it would have been a 10

Breakfast was well worth paying for in advance and the staff were always friendly, helpful and polite. The room was very comfortable and the mattress gave us a really good nights sleep. The location of the hotel is a lovely stroll to the theatres, river front and town centre. Perfect.

The hot water for the teas and coffees at breakfast was tepid and therefore instantly drinkable, so don't hang about as it will get cold very quickly, but you may like your beverages like that. The restaurant prices where a little high but the bar 'snacks' were the same and not really what I would think of as 'bar snacks' which would be more along the line of toasted sandwiches or panini's not main meals which are more in keeping with the restaurant.

We stayed 2 nights at The Swans Nest Hotel was absolutely wonderful, first impression was lovely. Staff were welcoming & very polite & gave us all the information we needed. Decoration beautiful & very Clean , we were very impressed with our room. It was gorgeous. Breakfast delicious , everything you wanted & more. We had an evening meal celebrating my husbands birthday & the young man & young lady waiting on were great. They secretly put candles on pudding that asked them to do & sang to my husband. ( they did ask if he would mind ) food again delicious & reasonable. We would definitely recommend & go again. Many thanks to all there ***** Sammie & Les 🥂🍾🎉🥰

Just what we needed a dog friendly comfortable hotel close to all that Stratford upon Avon has to offer, with rapid access to lots of dog walking routes as well. The staff were all friendly & helpful, very good breakfast (dogs allowed) in one area of the dining room. Spacious comfortable room on ground floor within easy reach of the exit to car park and out to the riverside walks and pedestrian bridge to the town side. We were able to open the window ( always useful as we prefer fresh air and a cool night's rest).

Long corridors connecting annex rooms to the main hotel. Carpets & decor in the corridors shabby & dated. Google maps advised we could turn right when leaving the hotel. You can't and there's a very difficult junction to effectively go straight across. This resulted in an extremely long detour with Google maps sending us on a 'magical mystery tour' to get to Hidcote NT gardens should have been 18mins took 90 mins!

We stay at the Swan's Nest whenever we go to the theatre in Stratford. We have been staying for many years because it is a short 5 minute walk to the RSC building. The hotel rooms and public areas are always clean and the rooms have all the facilities required. This visit (because we are regular visitors), we had a complimentary upgrade and the larger room and en suite were excellent. The Bistro Pierre restaurant is use to pre theatre reservations so will make sure you can finish in time to leave for the performance.

There is plenty of parking for guests and we have never had a problem finding a space. However, because parking is a big issue in Stratford, there is a separate parking charge. I have no problem paying the extra amount because the hotel is very good value for money, its just that a bit irritating that it is an unavoidable 'extra'.

The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect for walking into the centre of town. Ample parking with EV chargers if required. Our room was on the road, and above the Bistrot and Pub, so we were aware that there would be some noise, however it didn't affect our stay, plus we had the bonus of a lovely view of the river and bridge. Breakfast was delicious with a great selection of hot food, plus additional toast, pastries etc if desired. Also a great surprise is the fact you get 10% off food and drink if you're a guest.

I loved everything, but if I had to say something, then perhaps the bedroom could do with a bit of a facelift!

Located alongside the River Avon a few minutes stroll into the center of Stratford Upon Avon, this hotel is superbly located. Our suite was on the ground floor close to reception and very convenient. The room was large and very well appointed with a large double bed and an excellent lounge area. The wall mounted TV was not a smart TV but has easy HDMI side access for a Fire-stick or similar. Breakfast was from a menu with plenty of choice and the tables were nicely separated. The staff were all pleasant and helpful and the atmosphere inside the hotel was relaxed and friendly.

Room was great for us being on the ground floor. I personally don’t like overhead showers but my husband did. The in house restaurant for our evening meal was perfect as my husband has mobility issues so he could access it fairly easily.

Couldn’t turn the heating down so I turned it off and opened the window. I was disappointed when my gluten-free full English breakfast didn’t have any sausages but I should have asked and I could have chosen a better option from the menu.
