Overall, everything was ok. I really like staying there and if next time I need to stay somewhere in that location I would love to stay here.

It's hard to turn on the shower. There was a sign next to the bar and outside that because of the father days all fathers can get free beer but seems that girl who was serving us don't really know nothing about that. We was having a dinner with our daughter and I see a sign and I said o wow it's today, father day, how nice to offer free beer but she was looking at my like I was an alien, i said today are father day yes ? Sunday, yes ? And my husband is a fathe we was there with our daughter, it even pointed to my daughter who was sitting at the table. The server looked at me like i was talking Chinese.

Great location for visiting Stratford upon Avon, Leamington Spa and Warwick. Literally opposite Charlecote House. We took our Cavapoo, he was provided with a bed, bowls and treats. Allowed in the bar area and a specified area in the restaurant, there is also a dog walking field. Staff were without exception lovely. We had a couple of issues with our room which were dealt with exceptional quickly. We liked the way the hotel is spread over several buildings. It does require cosmetic updating in some areas but this didn’t spoil our stay at all. Will definitely stay again.

What a beautiful setting! Peaceful and quiet, no wonder people choose this venue and their events field to get married. We had chosen the executive twin room and were placed in a huge room with everything we'd need- including a fridge. On our request, we were placed in a quiet area and stayed away from the main hotel building in the farmhouse. The staff were all helpful, polite and went out of their way to help us. Especially when we had a minor disaster in the form of our car breaking down. My assistance dog's breakfast was in the cool box within the car, but the car battery was so low it wouldn't register the key and we couldn't open the car at all! We explained to the staff I was staying at the hotel to attend a vital appointment that morning and they offered us advice on local taxi businesses as well as asking the kitchen to cook some sausages so that my poor dog could at least have something for breakfast. They made an extremely stressful situation a little easier through their kindness and going the extra mile. So much so that I have now booked a further 4 visits to the hotel for when I have to return for follow up appointments. In terms of things to do in the area, the national trust Charlecote House is literally over the road. It's a stunning home with beautiful deer loose within the grounds (dogs must be kept on lead for this reason). Stratford Upon Avon is 12 minutes away, Morton on the marsh is 20 minutes away and very pretty with plenty of coffee shops. The best kebab van we've ever tried in local Wellesbourne- and every Saturday there is a huge market too which is worth a visit. The nearby airfield has a café overlooking the airfield- a unique view with breakfast indeed!

Have stayed a couple of times before. Well located for a local event we were attending, quiet rural location. Very good car parking. Room was clean, warm and comfortable. Bathroom had both bath and shower and again clean. Facilities in the room all working - tea and coffee a welcome touch. Very little noise from surrounding rooms.

Having been before, requested a particular room which the hotel confirmed would be done but on checking in had been moved due to a subsequent group booking. Whilst frustrating, the replacement room was actually nicer so fair enough on this occasion.

Room is spacious, decoration with Shakespeare everywhere was a nice touch. Receptionists were very friendly and welcoming too! Always seem to have car spaces left on the car park. Close enough to Stratford and we also explored the Cotswolds too. They had a station with free dog treats and water.

Can’t complain. It was a bit warm at first when we arrived, there is no AC or fans and window cannot be fully opened. However, during the evening it cooled down a bit.

The staff were all very polite, friendly and helpful, even at 11.45 pm when our key card didn't work, as someone came out to let us in the room! The setting is wonderful and the food was excellent, including the breakfast. Our room was spacious and warm, which was a bonus after coming home late from a very chilly air show. There was a spare plug in heater, ironing board, thick duvet, iron and fan in the cupboard if needed. We will definitely visit again if we are in the area.

My husband goes to bed earlier than I do, and although there was a dimmer switch connected to the main light, it didn't seem to dim the lights in the corner where the kettle was and there was no separate control for them, so the room was still quite bright. This is only minor, though, as we had no other issues.

This was a return visit to the Charlecote Pheasant, and a first for my dog, who was made welcome. The location of the Charlecote Pheasant is excellent, and the peace and tranquility it brings with it. Yes, it’s a little tired in places, but our room was very cosy and comfortable, with a lovely view of the garden.

However, I dined in the restaurant for dinner on two consecutive evenings with friends. The first evening the service was very good and food too, albeit a limited menu generally, and without the option of cheese and biscuits. On the second evening, the service was poor. One member of staff in particular verging on rude, and definitely in the wrong job. My friend ordered the risotto, only to be disappointed.

The hotel is an old converted farmhouse and barn so it's split into different buildings which was great, because we heard almost nothing of the large wedding party happening on the night we visited. The room was (mostly, see below) super-comfortable, the staff were nice and the cooked breakfast buffet was hot and tasty with plenty of fruit and cereal options also. The location is beautiful and surrounded by some of the most quintessentially English countryside imaginable.

The room we stayed in had a strange open-plan bathroom area, with a closed toilet - but there's only one light switch for both parts of the bathroom, so the only way to visit the lavatory in the night is to (a) take a torch or (b) illuminate the entire room and wake up your partner. The shower was weak and took abround 5 minutes to warm up and the standing floor fan had a bit of a DIY stand which was worryingly wobbly. Small downsides in an otherwise overwhelmingly positive experience!

Nice old building which we like very comfortable. Food was lovely well done to the chef and his team in the kitchen.

Walls abit thin as at night next door was talking very loudly we tried to ring reception many times which they said you could if needed to no answer in the end we had to shout really load shut up then they got the message but this shouldn’t of been the case. Staff in restaurant looked very missable not smiling and the young girl in the evening looked like she didn’t want to be their at all forgot our drinks afterwards waited ages had to go to bar the chap did apologise. really enjoyed the breakfast lovely and hot but need a better selection of eggs not just scrambled eg fried or poached.

room description detail when booking did not not match what was on offer when arrived. Description on booking .com said room had garden view , when in room you had a garden view if you stood in the bath and looked out of the window. Also room description stated bath robes , none in room. Description stated coffee machine ,again not in room. room descriptions needed to update to assist future bookings
