The location was ideal to visit family. The room was quite spacious , warm and the en suite nicely appointed. My stay felt safe and comfortable. The bed was also comfortable and I slept well and wasn’t disturbed by traffic. I would stay there again if the occasion arises. Aladdins Indian restaurant is great and only a short walk from the hotel.

There wasn’t a cooked breakfast and breakfast was simply a tray delivered the night before of yogurt , fruit, juice , cereal,milk and a prepackaged pastry with jam and butter. It was all adequate but not overly appetising. There wasn’t anywhere to get a bar drink as this facility wasn’t open . The staff were great but few and far between and not around at night although there were mobile numbers to ring if problems arose. Having said all of this , these issues may have been simply down to it still being the Christmas holiday break and a quiet time. Facilities may be available at other times of the year.

Room was specious, bed was comfortable pillows good, bathroom shower and body wash was a nice touch room was clean with fridge and coffee making facilities Free car parking was a bonus Nice big bath towels

Shower was only lukewarm which wasn’t good towel railways never hot or radiators as it was quite chilly evening and night No staff around it as about shower Doors locked at 9pm which is early but given a code for front door, Gardens need a tidy up Slip mat for shower too Blind or nets on window as room on main road and had to keep curtains closed

Room was a good size. It was clean, had the usual, tea, coffee etc, comfortable bed. Little extras, like the fridge, biscuits and hand cream, are nice touches. Staff friendly and helpful. Location is good to either walk, bus or river taxi (from the caravan park next door) into Stratford. The deal we got was really good and we would go back at those prices.

VERY MINOR things. Room 16. Large, thick, mirror on wall stuck out a long way next to the bed. Shelf above sink awkwardly placed so when we bent to brush our teeth we bumped our head. Could do with a deep clean on outside of shower screen at the bottom. None of this would stop us returning.

Hotel was very clean and pleasant. Staff very friendly. Room was very comfortable and clean. Fridge and Tea/coffee making facilities. Fan also included in the rooms. Car park very nice with plenty of room. Actually, we thought the hotel was in the town , but that was my mistake for not checking! Nevertheless, a Nice 20 min walk along the road brings you into the town. I believe you can also cut down the caravan site a few hundred yards up the road and walk along the river to the town (maybe a bit longer). Breakfast lounge looks nice, but had breakfast in the Fourties Cafe in town which I had pre booked.

Unfortunately the Limes do not offer a cooked breakfast during the week - only a continental breakfast which we declined. We were travelling so called elsewhere for a breakfast. The room was well equipped, bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. Michael, who greeted us, was very friendly and informed us of the food on offer in the vicinity. The Crown PH proved very good.

The only issue is the road. Although it is only a B road the traffic starts building up early in the morning. The double glazing muffled the sound somewhat, but you could still hear the traffic.

The hotel had a general cosy feel to it as soon as we walked in. Our room was a very good size, it was clean and smelt so nice. The bed was huge and was incredibly comfortable meaning we had a very good sleep. The location is ideal as not too far from the centre, but it was also very quiet and peaceful.

The only small thing was we ran out of milk and weren’t too sure where to pick more up as the main reception was closed.

Lovely friendly accommodation but the room was very warm even with the window opened, maybe at the least a fan would make it more comfortable, but it was just a base for us to relax and thats exactly what we did , we had room 16 that was on the 1st floor rear of building and was quiet think had we been in the front we would pf had to of kept the window closed because of the road noise and so would of been unbearable Fans needed please

Too humid at night and only 1 window

It was silent. Pillows were good. Staff friendly. Bathroom products are excellent. Biscuits a nice touch. Water in the fridge.

The lounge area wasn't particularly comfortable for lounging in. The desk is unusable due to the position of the fridge. And with curtains open, everyone outside can see in. Having to pre book breakfast. Bar staff untrained. Kettle doesn't reach plug. Packet milk, ugh. And not enough.

The staff were wonderful , so welcoming and happy to engage with you ! The breakfast was delicious , the choice for non meat eaters was limited , however the breakfast basket was perfect and had a wonderful variety and quality of good . The room was big and clean . It was good to have a choice of bath and shower too . The coffee shop/bar downstairs was a nice tough too .

It was a little out of town , 30 minute walk . We had no milk in our room , which was an oversight . But led ( as early risers ) to a hunt for milk at 5am . The rooms were quite basic but large and very clean .

Breakfast was a little too basic for me as I don't eat bread or cereal but I found something

The showerhead in the bathroom is fixed to the wall and though I didn't want to wash my hair, I had no choice in the matter!
