The room was a fair size and clean.Room cleaned and fresh towels every day. Requested a new remote for the t.v and provided within 5mins. Excellent location to travel into Stratford,we got the bus as parking is a nightmare.Parking at the hotel was in private carpark at rear. Two minutes walk to Indian, Chinese restaurant tapas bar and pub that did good food.

Parts of the hotel looked a little tired but clean. We had a front first floor room and it was hot weather so we had the window open and traffic noise started about 6.45am. It didn't bother us because we were up but if you wanted a lie in it would be irritating

I liked the outside area I liked the fact that there was a fridge, a kettle and camomile tea in the room and the bathroom had hair conditioner . I liked our space , there was a separate lounge as well as a bedroom The location was great in that it was a pleasant 30 min walk to the town, but also in a quaint village with a pub and a couple of restaurants Most of all I liked the fact that there was someone to speak to when we arrived and left , that I was able to leave my car in the car park for a while when we checked out , and my thanks go to the receptionist who took the time to ring me when I had left a jewellery item in the room

some might say the furnishings could use some updates , although this didn’t really bother us

The Hotel has a kinda of old fashioned vibe about it. It was actually nice, carpeted and decent and clean. The bed was comfy, the shower was not great but the bathroom modern. Outside needs a light when you are coming back late. The room has a little fridge and loads of Twinnings Tea in a smart case. TV was fine. Would definitely stay there again. For three star it is actually more like a four.

It is not really walkable to Town you need an Uber but it was only £5-£7. It needs little minor repairs like the left tap the shower came off and there was a small bit of black mold on the bathroom ceiling that could be painted over. They really need to put a night light outside on the way around to the entrance at the back. But overall was a great stay,

The location was ideal to visit family. The room was quite spacious , warm and the en suite nicely appointed. My stay felt safe and comfortable. The bed was also comfortable and I slept well and wasn’t disturbed by traffic. I would stay there again if the occasion arises. Aladdins Indian restaurant is great and only a short walk from the hotel.

There wasn’t a cooked breakfast and breakfast was simply a tray delivered the night before of yogurt , fruit, juice , cereal,milk and a prepackaged pastry with jam and butter. It was all adequate but not overly appetising. There wasn’t anywhere to get a bar drink as this facility wasn’t open . The staff were great but few and far between and not around at night although there were mobile numbers to ring if problems arose. Having said all of this , these issues may have been simply down to it still being the Christmas holiday break and a quiet time. Facilities may be available at other times of the year.

Room was specious, bed was comfortable pillows good, bathroom shower and body wash was a nice touch room was clean with fridge and coffee making facilities Free car parking was a bonus Nice big bath towels

Shower was only lukewarm which wasn’t good towel railways never hot or radiators as it was quite chilly evening and night No staff around it as about shower Doors locked at 9pm which is early but given a code for front door, Gardens need a tidy up Slip mat for shower too Blind or nets on window as room on main road and had to keep curtains closed

Ideal location for a wedding venue we were attending. The rooms were clean & well presented with soft towels & quality toileries. Received a warm welcome. The beds were made up wrong but was quickly rectified & apologised.

Not that we didn’t like, just an opportunity to improve. No outside lighting when we returned on the night in the car park, patio area or to enter the door. Difficult to see with uneven ground for older guests. The shower was hot but was only a trickle. Felt it was over priced for a bed & no breakfast but understand its location.

Really lovely continental breakfast which is only £8 pp. Staff greeted us upon arrival and were very friendly and helped us whenever we needed it. Generous sized room with comfortable bed and a fridge in room .

We were on the ground floor and could have done with nets or blinds at the window. There are curtains but you couldn't have any privacy if they were open. Also unfortunately on both nights we were woken by other guests being very loud upon returning from their night out but this isn't the fault of the hotel and can't be helped.

Everything was clean, nice toiletries and bed was comfy. We sat outside in sun with some drinks from the bar. The location was great with pub, 2 restaurants and a spar just a 3 minute walk down the road. It was a really pleasant walk into Stratford. Good communication from staff when i emailed with questions before our stay. Carparking was good.

Dirty ashtrays full of cigerette ends swimming in black water on tables outside was offputting and smelly and should have been dealt with. It was a shame the garden area looked abit uncared for.

The room size was very good, the room was very clean,the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

The property looked very tired and needed sprucing up when we arrived, however each day there was someone working in the grounds so that was being done. The tables in the reception could maybe do with some table cloths. We had no hot water on the first morning, however it was quickly resolved. The bed was very comfy. We would stay here again.

Room was a good size. It was clean, had the usual, tea, coffee etc, comfortable bed. Little extras, like the fridge, biscuits and hand cream, are nice touches. Staff friendly and helpful. Location is good to either walk, bus or river taxi (from the caravan park next door) into Stratford. The deal we got was really good and we would go back at those prices.

VERY MINOR things. Room 16. Large, thick, mirror on wall stuck out a long way next to the bed. Shelf above sink awkwardly placed so when we bent to brush our teeth we bumped our head. Could do with a deep clean on outside of shower screen at the bottom. None of this would stop us returning.
