The location was perfect. Next to the information centre, boat departures, tourist bus departure point and other central sites. The room was big enough. The breakfast was good but very busy. The pool and sauna were a good addition to other advantages of the hotel.

It is a very busy hotel. Though the hotel had a bistro, the lunch menu was very basic. There was no fridge in the room.

It was ok - standard chain hotel

Noisy guests and motor bikes going on around the hotel. My request for quiet room ignored. We ate in the hotel the first evening, choice of food limited to fish&chips - other dishes all contained garlic. We would NOT stay again.

I didn’t like the fact that you had to pay for parking when the hotel was surrounded by car parking slots. I was informed that this was because they had been sold off to a private company I was annoyed that there was an extra £3 charge for poached eggs Even though it was stated food and drink was available in the executive lounge from 6-9 the food was removed at 8

The hotel location is excellent for all local amenities. The hotel grounds are beautiful and makes a nice relaxed setting.

Although we opted for no room make ups during our stay, we did think that the tea, coffee, milk etc would still be replenish every day. This was not the case, we had to ask reception for these everyday which was a pain if you forgot to ask on the way back to your room. Also at the bar I asked for lemonade to be added to a drink and was told that the splash lemonade was not being used anymore and then was charged £4.20 for a 200ml bottle of lemonade. Yet the splash machine was still working, although thar was still over £2.00 for a splash of lemonade. A bit pricey to say the least.

The location is fantastic for centre of Stratford, have stayed here before. Very clean ,great room with views to river and over to the theatre. Staff really helpful and a great breakfast choice.

Booked 3 nights in king room with sofa bed ,3 people. Lovely clean room, sofa bed not made up but didn't mind. 10.30pm opened sofa bed, no bedding at all and none in cupboard. Reception came with bedding 20mins later,told them we would make bed up. Room 3081 absolutely no water pressure whatsoever in taps and shower, complete waste of time. Booked table at restaurant on first night 8.00pm No beef on menu Booked 2nd night 8.00pm No beef on menu again, decided on 3 fish and chips, told there was only 1 so had 2 pizza. Then told there was a 40mins wait for food. 3rd night ate somewhere else. I just found that the shortages of choice at such a large hotel is not what I expected,

Our room was a long walk from the lift, but that was changed without any fuss when we explained our limited mobility. The reception staff were extremely pleasant and welcoming. Our room was fine and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and fresh ingredients. The communal areas are extremely well appointed and maintained. Location is great for visiting the RSC.

The bar staff were very unhelpful. This is not our first visit and we have often asked for a tray of tea (for four of us), in the lounge or on the terrace and it has always been delivered to our table. This time, I was told I had to make it myself with teabags in mugs. I asked for teapots and in the end one new member of staff made them for me, but then I had to make three return journeys to our table, as they didn’t have any trays big enough to take everything. With the exception of the young man who helped me, the staff were completely indifferent and unhelpful. In such an exceptional hotel, I would expect a far higher level of service and think this needs to be addressed. Very disappointing.

Great location moments from the theatre and town centre restaurants. Clean and wonderfully comfortable with a sumptuous bed and spacious room. Fast and friendly check-in. Gift of chocolate was a nice touch! A nice bar downstairs. All felt like solid, decent quality without being OTT.

Not much to criticise, but if I’m being picky I’ll point to the £12 car park charge and the staff hoovering the bar at only about 1130 on a Saturday night - kind of spoilt the atmosphere a bit. Prices can be a little higher than elsewhere, though that’s probably justified on quality grounds.

Breakfast was excellent . Great variety and staff helpful . Liked water in fridge that was replaced daily (in most cases )in reusable bottles . Room was good and bed very comfortable. Loved location next to river and outdoor seating . Easy walk to town , theatre and tourist attractions. Spacious public areas and bars . Friendly and helpful friendly staff throughout .Enjoyed using pool

Limited bar menu available that didn’t match large variety on room service menu . On one day of our stay the cleaner didn’t clean or replace items in one of our rooms ( had 3 rooms) and on another day didn’t replace water in the same room . Rooms not very sound proofed and we were woken up by noise from people in corridor over two nights . Pool a little crowded at times

The room was spacious, comfortable and well appointed. The enormous bed was very comfortable. Location is excellent, within easy walking distance of shops, bars, restaurants, theatre and the river Avon. The outside space at the hotel is lovely with plenty of seating and wonderful views of the river.

The cooked breakfast was good but could have been better. Some items (bacon & black pudding) we're overcooked and a little hard. Also the food wasn't very warm. Otherwise there was an excellent selection for breakfast.

The Hotel and facilities were lovely, room was lovely and clean. Location was great.

Unfortunately, we booked for 2 nights but only stayed 1 night, room was on the third floor and the windows are screwed shut, so no fresh air. I have COPD so aircon and fan irritate it, so room was stuffy and we didn't sleep well. When we went to check out in the morning, the staff were very good and offered to try to find another room, but we had already packed to leave. Also paid for the car park for 2 days, but didn't get a refund! Also breakfast lots of choice but the hot breakfast was not hot! There were only 2 lifts, so it was a long walk to our particular room!
