Lovely, mishapen Tudor property not far off 600 years old. Warwick is a historic town and as such not made for vehicles, so having accommodation with parking at the town an entrance was a relief. Despite the properties age it was dressed homely and lovely and warm. Janet was a lovely host with great recommendations about the area, very helpful and great conversationalist. 10 minute walk to town with Warwick castle immediately behind the BnB.

Nothing, it was exactly what we were looking for.

The owner Janet and her husband have created a particularly positive atmosphere. Not only in terms of the loving and stylish furnishings. The care of the guests was also exemplary. Every wish was fulfilled and with great pleasure. We found it particularly remarkable that Janet got her guests talking to each other in a pleasant way. We learned many insider tips and which activities in Warwick are particularly worth seeing. You don't need a key, both the front door and the room door can be opened with a code. In our room, the code was quite far down, which made opening it a bit of a challenge. Not really worth mentioning.

Made to feel welcome and looked after. B&B wonderfully decorated-so characterful with lots of antique type furniture and decor which suited the age and history of the property. Cosy, quaint in a positive way, homey; the teddy bears were so sweet. All the usual amenities were provided including a fan which was welcome as we visited during a heatwave.

We stayed in the Georgina Room. The ensuite was very very small - loo and shower squeezed into space like a broom cupboard with the sink located in the room. I appreciate that this was due to the layout of this historic building but it was disappointing and had I known in advance I would have asked for a different room. Although an iron and board were provided and kindly set up in the breakfast room, when I asked I felt that I was imposing and would have preferred them to have been in the room.

Lovely historic building within a short walking distance from all the landmarks, so you really get to soak in the atmosphere of old Warwick town. The room was spacious, very clean, and the hosts are friendly, helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable about the local attractions, best places to eat, and things to do in Warwick and the environs. Breakfast was lovely, home cooked fresh every morning, which makes for a nice start to the day with a full belly.

Everything that was under the hosts' control left nothing to be desired. The only thing to keep in mind is that with an old, historic building like that, inevitably there is practically no noise proofing, so you will hear people talking in other rooms or the radio playing downstairs in the kitchen. Everyone (guests and hosts) was typically very mindful of noise levels but if you have misophonia that's something to be aware of. Also a caveat that there are no substantial vegetarian or vegan options for breakfast, so if you have special dietary requirements you should probably let the hosts know well in advance.

Park Cottage is a rare gem amongst a sea of generic hotels. The character, warmth and service far exceeded our expectations. The rooms are cosy and well equipped, the breakfast is delicious and freshly prepared. The location is marvellous, a short walk to the castle and centre of town. Each night we slept peacefully in the quiet room and comfortable bed. Janet and Stuart are wonderful hosts, they went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. We’ll definitely be checking in again when we pass through Warwick.

Loved it all!

History lovers, so this beautiful cottage was perfect for us. Very homely feel to it. Great size room, comfy bed and very quiet at night. Little extra touches, like chocolates on the pillows and cute bears scattered around 😊Janet and Stuart, the owners, are very friendly and offered information about the local area. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. The cottage has private parking and was ideally located for our planned trip to the castle . We would not hesitate to stay here again in the future. Thank you Janet and Stuart.

Perfect for us.

Janet, our host was very welcoming and provided lots of information and a map of the local area. Our room was particularly spacious with a comfy seating area and en-suite. The breakfast was excellent with choices of fruit, cereal and a cooked English breakfast plus lots of tea or coffee. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Warwick and would highly recommend Park Cottage to anyone wishing to stay in the area. Park cottage is right next to Warwick castle so it’s just a short walk into the castle grounds.

Superb! This is my second stay at Park Cottage with Janet & Stu’s warm hospitality! I love that their communication is excellent, timely and clear. There’s always a warm welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast choices are wide ranging, freshly cooked by Stu and delicious 😋 All pictures on the site are exactly the same as when you are at the accommodation. The room I had ‘Catherine’ was on the ground floor and was perfect, with everything I could need to have a restful stay after a long international flight Park Cottage is my go-to accommodation in Warwick for its accessibility to town (5minutes walk) and castle (next door) Thank you!!

Nothing - it was perfect !!

We stayed in the well designed and well equipped annexe called the "Potting Shed" located at the back of the main house which was nice and quiet. There's ample on-site parking which is free. Park Cottage is only a few minutes walk from Warwick Castle and provides good access to the High Street with its shops and eating places. Our hosts, Janet and Stuart were very accommodating. Stuart provided us with an excellent full English Breakfast and Janet was very knowledgeable about what was happening at the Castle and recommended several eating places in the area. We very much enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommended.

It was very dark in the "Potting Shed" at night. A night light would be good!

It was a pleasure to meet out host, on arrival we opted for the Olde Worlde room, it was a quaint well appointed large room with a very comfortable bed. Lovely tea making facilities in the room and for those who still eat meat we would heartily recommend the full english breakfast with bacon and sausage sourced from a family run butcher - well cooked and delicious. The location perfectly suited our itinerary, a visit to the canal at Hatton Locks before booking in, then a short walk into the town to visit the Church of St Mary and the gardens at the end of Mill Street. We finished off with a lovely meal in Saffron Gold. The guest house is adjacent to the castle entrance for those who want to visit but for us it was a short journey to pick up the motorway to visit NEC.

Everything was fine - choosing the Olde World room meant the ensuite was cosy but how much time do you spend in there ! On the plus side there was refreshingly powerful shower tucked away inside
