Great central location, so central the clock tower certainly lets you know what time it is. Starts at 7am and finishes at 10pm. Rooms have mini fridge, iron, hairdryer and Tea/Coffee inc decaf, herbal tea and water. Bed linen lovely and fresh towels daily. Best hanger steak I’ve ever tasted. Fab range of cocktails and beers. Friendly staff. Great beer garden with plenty seats. Room fan was needed as the weather was boiling.
First impressions last and when we arrived to check in the girl seemed rather surprised and slightly inconvenienced but next morning at breakfast the greeting made up for it. We stayed 4 nights and room was only cleaned once (2nd day) could have done with bathroom sink and toilet once over. But fresh towels were given. Breakfast although good choice of yogurt and juice I do prefer fresh fruit and natural yogurt. The cookies were not replenished in the room and sparkling water replaced the still.

My wife and I appreciated the quirky charm and incredibly friendly, intergenerational team. It was heartwarming to see them genuinely enjoying each other’s company, even sharing hugs just for fun. The staff were kind, flexible, and consistently attentive, always going out of their way to help guests. Their positive energy made our stay a delightful experience. Our room offered a stunning view of the cathedral, and the location couldn’t have been better - just a short walk to local cafes, restaurants, and shops, with Warwick Castle only minutes away.

Really beautiful rooms that have been sympathetically renovated retaining a lot of gorgeous original features. Lovely comfortable bed. Availability of powerful wall-mounted fan in the rooms. Ridiculously high ceilings that are just fabulous. Beautiful bathroom with super powerful shower that reached the right temperature quickly and easy to control. Greeted very warmly on arrival. 20% off in the restaurant for guests
Breakfast included, but it didn't state at the time of booking, as far as I can recall, that it's continental. The Breakfast is very limited with no option of adding any extras at this time. Saying that, the croissants are amazing - huge and freshly baked. Some parts of the building/interior are looking like they need a freshen up with a bit of paint. I couldn't see anyway of getting the plug to stay in the bath so wasn't able to use it and stuck to showers. Fridge was on the floor instead of being on a table/in a cupboard making it look a little untidy

We had the most incredible stay at this hotel, from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, the hotel were amazing. We stayed for my partners birthday and they left a balloon and banner in the room which was such a nice touch, the room was so spacious and just perfect, the bathroom was also so spacious and we just loved everything about the stay. We had breakfast both mornings and dinner one evening, dinner was incredible, the steak was cooked beautiful, the staff were so helpful, easily one of the best hotels we have stayed in.
The fan in our room didn’t work, but we didn’t mention it so that was on us, other than that everything was immaculate.

Loved the bed, fresh linen, fabulous bathroom. Terrific staff, bar and house keeping couldn’t do enough. Great location for us. View of church idyllic. The Sunday roast served in the tavern was so much more than pub grub.
The room was deluxe but no comfy chair only one ‘dining/desk’ chair. No telephone to call downstairs (we réalise it is a tavern and not a hotel)but would’ve been handy. The shower was danger slippery (we réalise plastic matting is unhygienic) but solution needs to be found. The stairs were tormenting 4 flights up to the second floor 48 steps to room 10.

This is a great place in the Centre of Warwick. We stayed for a wedding at the castle which was about a 7 minute walk away. Plenty of parking options within about 5 minutes as well. You are right on the square and we got to visit the market stalls. The pub is great, a lovely atmosphere and a great breakfast. We met the head housekeeper who said she had moved us into a nicer room as realised there were some other wedding guests and kept us all together. Our room was great, good size, nicely decorated, good sized bed, super ensuite. We had a nice view of the church to the side. The place is really clean and tidy and a fabulous bunch running the place. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
Nothing.

Loved the charm of the building and the history. It was in an excellent location to explore Warwick by foot, and the staff were really friendly - especially the lovely lady who cleaned the rooms. The breakfast was fantastic (the hot food offering at the weekend really is superb). We had dinner here one night, and the food was great quality too.
On Saturday night, the noise (music) from the pub carried on until we'll past close, which wasn't ideal as we were in a room directly above it and could hear it. The room - while a good size and had good facilities - was looking tired and could do with a refresh.

We had a super one night stay on our way North. The rooms were large with comfortable beds. The bathrooms are well maintained with powerful showers. We also enjoyed a lovely evening meal in the pretty pub garden as well as a delicious cooked breakfast. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Thanks for a great stay and we hope to return in the future.
I had booked a table for dinner online which was not available when we arrived. However the lovely staff quickly sorted this out.

Good location, to explore Warwick. There is a paid car park close by. The room was perfect. Clean, had a hair dryer, iron and a little mini fridge with bottles of water in it.. I also had a meal in the evening there. Great menu choice very happy with my chicken flatbread.
The breakfast is continental, but the options were not that great. One choice of cereal, a bowl of fruit and toast. You have the choice of orange or apple juice which comes in a bottle, so it can be handy if you're on the go. You get tea or coffee also. The coffee is really good.

Location was perfect
The only thing i would say if your getting to the venue before 5pm you cant park where stated as the council own the car park & you could get clamped but okay to leave the car after 5pm on a Fri for the weekend.. it was a bit noisy Fri night there was a band on & some very drunk people in the bar.. but we were okay as we came back not to early ourselves luckily..
