We were made welcome immediately. Our room was perfect very clean as was the whole house, and the fully stocked kitchen area available for guests to use was brilliant especially with a 6yr old who after a day of sightseeing and activities just wanted to have a lasagne in our room and relax . Breakfast was terrific and set us up for a busy day. We would recommend The Hathaways to anyone it was a lovely place to stay and if we are back in the Stratford will definnately stay again.

There wasn't anything we had a problem with.

Owners really lovely, and property immaculately clean throughout. Room was well equipped and there was also a kitchen for guest use where extra tea and coffee supplies were kept but which also contained all pots and pans etc. Breakfast room was bright and pleasant with a good choice of cereals, yogurt, and toast toppings, juice and mini muffins. Toast and tea are topped up if requested, the owners are so attentive and make sure you're well fed! There's no onsite parking but we were loaned a permit for surrounding roads by the owners and we got parked ok.

We were in an attic room and the stairs were a bit tight to get suitcases up, but that's not really anything that could be helped, we're able bodied and we managed. I don't eat meat but on reflection it would have been nice to have a veggie sausage as part of the cooked breakfast. I got tinned tomatoes, a fried egg, beans and mushrooms. Maybe a hash brown could be offered? Again though, trivial points.

Such a warm welcome from Emma and Craig. They couldn't do enough to ensure we enjoyed our stay. I loved the decor. The whole place looks newly decorated and it was lovely to stay somewhere that had a beautiful blue duvet cover instead of the standard white. The room was really comfortable with everything we needed. The bathroom was very spacious and everywhere was spotlessly clean. There was a kitchen area for making drinks and, if we had wanted, there was a microwave and oven, but we choose to eat out. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful with choices of cereal, fruit and yoghurt, followed by a full english with toast and delicious coffee (or tea), and carafes of orange juice and water on the table. They also provided a parking permit which saved us about £25 on parking. I would highly recommend staying at The Hathaways. There were no negatives.

Both Emma and her husband (sorry can’t remember your name) are friendly, happy go lucky people and make you feel welcome and comfortable, rooms and breakfast are great, would highly recommend a stay here if you are in the area. Will definitely stay again Thank you for a lovely weekend

Parking could be an issue if you were not using the car during the days, it did not effect us as we were driving just down the road to an event, however, if required I believe there are parking permits available from Emma

The location was perfect, within easy walking distance of the theatre and all local attractions. Lovely welcoming hosts, who were so helpful with all aspects of our stay - we couldn’t have asked for more. Comfortable room with good WiFi access which was helpful for us. Would definitely stay again!

When booking we worried about the lack of private parking, however don’t be put off by this- it was only minimal inconvenience as a permit for local street parking was available, and since the location was so central, we didn’t need to move the car once parked up on arrival. The hosts were more than happy to assist with parking queries.

The location and the room were excellent and most of all, the hosts were warm and delightful. They made us feel at home from the minute we arrived and although we had a climb to the 3rd floor, the room was airy, filled with windows, and warm sunlight beating into the room. They had a nice and small kitchen centre in the floor below, that was a pleasant nook to break for a snack or takeout! Breakfast was delicious as well. I would definitely stay here again, were we to return to Stratford upon avon!

B&B hosts Emma and Craig were wonderful. Extremely welcoming and helpful. The morning breakfasts were generous and well prepared. The extra kitchen on the upper floor right outside the room where early risers could prepare coffee or tea is a particularly nice touch. The entire house was very clean and well maintained and the location was perfect, especially for guests arriving on foot. We highly recommend The Hathaways BnB for your stay in Stratford upon Avon.

Everything was perfect.

The breakfasts were great and all freshly cooked. Individual tastes were well catered for. The rooms were good, nice and clean. We liked the use of the separate kitchen fully stocked with everything to do your own catering if desired, we ate out in town! So handy for walking in to all Stratford has to offer.

Parking is a big problem throughout the town, and there is no on site parking. The owner was very helpful and provided us with a permit which solved our problem.

I stayed just the one night at The Hathaways but I wish it had been for longer. Emma was a superb host and made me feel very welcome ( and safe ) being a ' lone traveller ' The room was spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and I really enjoyed chatting to Emma and took on board some of her recommendations for the rest of my stay. I will most definitely be choosing The Hathaways if I ever return to Stratford. Hopefully sooner rather than later :-)

The Hathaways is a beautiful period house, not far from the centre of Stratford upon Avon (a short and pleasant walk) but far enough away to be nice and quiet, even though it's on a fairly busy road. Emma and Craig are lovely, welcoming hosts. The rooms are immaculately clean. The breakfasts are delicious. There is a kitchen for guests to use on the first floor, which I thought was a really nice idea.
