We had to find a room for a one night stay near Hobart after our flight was cancelled. This was only a short drive from the airport, and was a good value. This is in the lower floor of a house in a suburb. The room had a nice panoramic view down the hill onto the bay. The host was friendly, efficient, and prompt.

No fault of the owners, we had to leave at 4AM, so didn't really have much of a chance to appreciate the property or enjoy a breakfast.

We chose Panorama on Sorell B & B because it's very handy to Hobart Airport and we were flying out the following morning. Our host John has provided a nice facility with many additional extras such as bread for toast and additional condiments. While only there for the one night it was a great alternative to stay in a nice town, albeit which is now a virtual suburb of Hobart!

John is an exceptional host, very attentive, kind, compassionate and caring. Facilities were 10 out of 10. Spacious area, above average furniture, comfy bed. All the best, John.

We had 1 'small' problem which John tried to fix. If it hadn't been for this 'small' problem, I would have given them 10 out of 10.

This was our first B&B and Everything about it is fantastic. John is an attentive host and the B&B apartment is large and roomy. The view looks out over the local harbour and its very close to town. You will want for nothing while staying here. And with the fire place going there really was no Need to leave at all Only to get dinner & a bottle of wine. A continental breakfast is provided and makes it easy to jump back into your travels. The bed is comfortable & modern. The Bathroom is the same. Everything you get in a good hotel/motel plus more. Easy to find, maps take you there without problem. If ever staying in Sorell again this would be our first choice we rate John's B&B⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ & 👍🏼👍🏼 Craig & Michelle

Very clean, comfortable and peaceful..a warm welcome from John and Milena on arrival and special things to make you feel at home..lovely views and a great collection of books to enjoy..I would definitely come back again..thank you 😁🙏

The host a very polite helpful and informative they go right through your accommodation to show you everything and then leave you'll be for the rest of your stay unless you require assistance or something other. The glass door fire is a bonus with would all split and stacked at ready the fire set and ready to like, was great to just relax and stare i panorama on Sorell is picture perfectnto the fire listening to music as it was a cool too cold night outside all thought it was only a few days short of summer.

Leaving after 2 wonderful nights. The kitchen dining area lounge area yuge bedroom ensuite all this studiously maintained the views across the valley farmlands surrounds settlement I just so beautiful beautiful location and aspect owners a beautiful people and beautiful couple and have the really done their homework and committed their best energies to this project manager.

this “apartment” is a hidden gem wrapped with thoughtful amenities! John gave me a tour of the property and when I mentioned it was a bit cold, he presented me with heaters in the bedroom (plus a heating blanket already laid) plus a nice heater in the living room … in 2 minutes, i was warm and toasty! The bathroom had lovely lavender soap which I totally adore … lovely view of the ocean and mountain from the kitchen/ dining room area …. Overall, a great stay with parking in the property and a variety of items for a delicious continental breakfast!

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. From the start of the stay, we felt welcome and taken care of. The premises has a very nice garden view. If the wind wasn't as strong and cold, I'd imagine myself sipping tea while enjoying the serenity. The hosts provided excellent heating for the premises and good amenities. We could park our car in the premises and felt quite at home. There were nearby food places too including Woolsworth, a supermarket.

The soundproofing of the ceiling isn't as great. Could hear footsteps above us (it's a house where we are staying on the lower floor). For heavier sleepers, not an issue. There was no door to the bedroom itself. I understand this was for fire safety (from what I read) but would have felt better if there was some form of door.

Very welcoming . Very quite a great view and relaxing to spend our last night in Tasmania. Very well equipped and a fantastic breakfast selection.Close to airport for our morning flight. Would recommend a stay at this place to everyone.

Not the best for asthma sufferers especially in the winter.
