The staff were all super friendly and polite and made the stay very enjoyable. They all made a special effort to make sure everyone had fun either with the kayaking, the evening cooking course, evening entertainment ect. The ship itself was very clean and the rooms were comfortable with beautiful views of the bay.

The food options were very limited for non seafood eaters. On the first lunch more than half of the buffet wasn’t available for one of the guests which made food options limited and pretty uninspiring. The dinner was also a set menu with only one option which was very restricting, with some odd flavour combinations (sea bass with banana purée)

Absolutely beautiful boat, with very lovely staff. We stayed in the sky deck family room, which was large, well-appointed, and very comfortable for our family. Ha Long Bay was stunning, and we had great weather, so the water temperature was perfect, and the included tours were fun.

Although the quality of the food was excellent, some of the set menu dinner items were questionable. We did the 3 day/2 night tour but as you are picking up and dropping off people doing the 1 night tour - you really just go back and forward to the same places / along the same route each day - would have liked to see more of the bays than just this repeated route.

Amazing! We had a great time - clean, staff were super friendly, many places to chill, fun water slide, food was good. I’m a vegetarian and they catered to my needs very well. I seen some reviews of ha long bay saying boats can be over crowded I didn’t find this at all no boats obstructed our view - and the views from room and boat deck are absolutely beautiful.

The only thing I would say if you’re a young traveller, when we were on the boat it was mostly families/older couples so if you’re after a chilled night this is the one for you but for party / to meet other travellers I would pick another.

We did a two night three day cruise with Capella in late March and had a very good time. The transfers and organisation are all seamless, the staff are very friendly and the boat itself is very nice. My only gripe is the timings of it all, the excursions start before 8am and you're back at the boat my midday at the latest. That leaves a lot of time in the afternoon with the same activities available each day. I would have liked there to have been more variety (i.e. going to different bays or having more opportunities for kayaking in different places). But overall it's a lovely way to see the bay and the food is great too!

This is probably the best cruise in Halong Bay. We got the owners suite and loved every inch of it. You get the whole front of the ship for yourself, with a huge terrace. The Owners Suite comes with its perks, since it is the only suite like this you get reserved table in such/dinner area, a private speedboat tour, a personal butler, among many many other amenities. You really feel taken care of and pampered. I was worried it would be to much or to invasive, but they have nailed the service down perfectly. Alex our butler was the best, he really went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. The rest of the staff was equally great, and one of the best prepared crew I have ever encountered. some of them played several instruments like professionals. Apart from the room the cruise is beautiful with a modern and classy luxury vibe, not like ultra futuristic cruises that do not blend in well with the scenery. The activities are also very well thought and executed. The food in board was really good. We got a private dinner that was exceptional. We stayed for two nights, which I would also recommend, I feel one night like some people suggest would have been too short to soak the beauty of the place all in like you should.

Wifi was unusable, only in some places, during some times you could get some connection, but consider yourself off-grid.

Everything single thing was luxury and amazing!! There are a lot of cruises on offer but we kept coming back to looking at this one. It is amazing, takes you to the quieter area. Has a hot tub (many only have pools which are not heated so given we went in Feb it was nice to have heated water). Also the tours are optional, some other liners make you get off the boat but you can do what you wish with Capella. Live music was lovely. Food was stunning! We also got room upgrade and it was unbelievable with a wrap around terrace!!! Yes this is a little bit more than some of the other agents but go for it!! The slide was also really fun. There was a really good atmosphere we made a lot of good friends.

Nothing! Wanted to stay longer. A few things are at extra cost paddle boards and karaoke room.

Halong Bay is beautiful, the Cruise was amazing, everything was just perfect but I have to say that it was the STaFF that did it for me. They are exceptional, so so lovely. My experience there was memorable and I was happy to have made the decision to book this trip. I can’t recommend it enough. One more thing I don’t want to leave out is that I travelled with my mother, who is vegetarian, she always struggles to find food in certain places that is not let’s say “boring” compared to the non-vegetarian options. She was SO happy with the vegetarian menu they prepared for her at the Capella cruise, honestly, it had been a while since I saw her enjoy her food so much. I was and still am very thankful for that.

I liked our 1st and more quiet night more than the 2nd one when a big group of tourist arrived. Of course that has really not much to do with the cruise itself so I don’t blame it on them but it’s good to consider if you are looking for a quiet trip, maybe ask them to see if there are any big groups staying there those days?

This was an exceptional trip With so many to choose from you can get overwhelmed but you will not be disappointed with this The price point is a little more but you get what you pay for - the service is exceptional, room spacious and comfortable, pool and slide are great fun Jin, Alex and Tom were stand out members of the team and made our trip great fun From the moment to start it's so much nicer than the other over crowded check in - it's tranquil and serene I loved the movie on the deck in the evening - although hearing the karaoke singing from the other ships was often off putting 🤣 The cocktails and wine choices are great and delicious I would definitely do the two night as its a real break and relaxing

The food is a little disappointing in comparison to everything else - it's not bad its just ok - breakfast is good and some of the evening dishes were really tasty but on the whole it's just ok and never hot But then it is a tiny kitchen feeding a large number of people

The room condition and the quality of the meals all met & exceeded my expectations. The sky family suite was quite spacious and comfortable for 3 adults (it may be just okay for 4). The private balcony attached to the room was perfect for photos. The sceneries in Ha Long and Lan Ha Bay were magnificent regardless of the weather conditions, and the many cruises on the sea also made a good spectacle. I planned the trip as a combined birthday celebration for my parents in their 70s and thankfully they fully enjoyed the cruise experience. I was going for a vacation-y cruise so didn't really care about the activities, but the cooking class was an unexpected hit for my father :) All crew members were also very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

The morning activity on the second day was a bit too early; the back-and-forth transfer between the pier & the ship felt too long. Both were due to the height of the seawater so there's little they could do, but it did dampen the excitement a bit. It was also slightly disappointing that the ship moved only for a short period of time each day. Overall, 2D1N felt rushed, so I recommend more than 2 nights if you can afford it.

The host of the cruise, Chris, was absolutely fantastic! His friendly and humorous personality added so much energy and fun to the trip, making it truly memorable. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, each with its own private balcony offering stunning views. Communication was seamless and efficient, both prior to boarding and throughout the journey, ensuring a hassle-free experience. The crew was attentive and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. From the beautiful onboard amenities to the breathtaking scenery, everything exceeded expectations. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable cruise experience! 🌟

The itinerary was well-planned overall, but I felt a few adjustments could have made the experience even more seamless and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the weather affected our ability to fully enjoy all the activities, but the team handled the situation professionally. The food offered was delicious, though a bit more variety would have been appreciated, especially for those with dietary restrictions like avoiding pork or alcohol. As a group of three, the room was cozy and comfortable, though the addition of an extra bed made it feel a little snug. Considering we paid a percentage for the third person, a slightly larger room would have been ideal.
