The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They showed true customer service. They answered the phones super friendly and made sure we got everything we requested to our room with no issue. We truly felt taken care of. We had a breeze of a time getting early check-in, which doesn't usually happen at a lot of hotels i’ve stayed at. We loved that the facilities were open till 11. That is a great time rather than earlier in the night when you can’t enjoy them as much. The bar was lovely and I enjoyed a yummy espresso martini. I got to take that out to the fire outside which was amazing. My boyfriend enjoyed the steam room which was a huge bonus for him. We didn’t mind that it was being renovated at the time. They made sure that it wasn’t an inconvenience for guest.

From the time I booked, to the time we arrived Staff was super friendly and accommodating! Would definitely stay here again!

We were there for New Year's celebration (band). We bought the tickets for sliders/taco bar and music. When we got to the ballroom where band was set up, there was no table assigned for us. It was in a connecting room where the food was. We bought our tickets in advance and we thought that this meant we would be able to see band. We were some of the first to arrive and after realizing this, the staff did set up some tables for us in the main ballroom, but there were many other people after us that did not get seating.

I liked the lobby area a lot, and it was convenient to have two restaurants in the actual hotel itself. The staff was beyond accommodating and always kind and timely with requests. The pool area was awesome with the hot tub, sauna and steam room.

The room was a little dated but relatively clean. They don’t do cleaning services throughout your stay so I felt bad texting the hotel to bring towels or more toilet paper everyday. The pool was awesome but a a bit smelly, could be a bad filter or drain but our swim suits were very smelly after getting out.

Like the fact that the lobby was nicely decorated, and the restaurant was really nice(crafted)

Didn’t like the fact that they were doing construction. Didn’t realize the name of the hotel was changed until I got there so we couldn’t find it. We passed it twice. We were looking for lodge Geneva national didn’t realize it was called The ridge I think you should tell people that you’re under construction or give some kind of discount because it’s construction.

Very pleasant staff. Every part of the hotel was clean except the pool deck. The fact that your dog friendly was one of the key factors in booking your property. Having dog walking paths was nice.

The room size was very small. Basically, there was no bathroom counter space. The attention to the pool deck area lacked. Lots of random items laying around on the ground. The persons in charge of that area should make sure to check the area for band-aids, gum, and tissue are some of the items we saw. Other than that, the experience was great.

The room here was clean, the modern lobby and outside terrace and pool area were very nice. We did not see the indoor pool. The Pool servers were great, especially Isaiah.

The pool bar stopped serving frozen drinks on the hottest day of the year because they didn’t wanna deal with the bees. The bees were already way out of control, swarming all over customers and staff. I’m not sure how to remedy this, perhaps some sort of like screen situation. The staff at the coffee bar in the morning seemed light. I ended up leaving without getting anything because the line was so long and it was taking so long.

The location is spectacular, close to the town of Lake Geneva but set along a hill above Lake Como. The staff at the desk, coffee shop and bar/restaurant were outstanding. The overall building and grounds were very well kept.

The only issue was at the pool area. There were kids playing rough in the pool -- tossing around a football -- which made a visit there unpleasant. I did inform the lady at the desk, who said she would try to let the parents know.

The breakfast was fine.

There needs to be better monitoring in the pool area. Children were there unsupervised. They were throwing balls that hit other people in/out of the pool. They were asked multiple times not to stand out of the pool throwing/kicking water filled balls across the pool but they continued to do it. They would move for maybe a couple times and then somehow be back in an area that it others. That made things not enjoyable due to trying to watch the balls.

Though I had a confirmed date and correspondence for Sunday-Monday stay…. The front desk system showed a booking for the night before. Thankfully, they had a room, and the young man at the desk did a no fuss transition to Sunday. So thankful. There for a funeral- with a spouse two weeks out of surgery! Very thankful for the help

I reserved the room for my son with my credit card expecting my card to be charged at checkout as stated when I provided the card number, security code and expiration date. But when he checked out they asked my son for his card and said they required a physical card at checkout. This is not what I was led to expect when making the reservation!
