We loved the entire experience. We take our grandkids to LG for 3-4 days every summer. This was our first stay at Timber Lodge & we only stayed with you 1 night of the 3 nights we were in LG. But all future trips to LG we will be staying at Timber Lodge. The kids were thrilled when we walked into the Lobby & saw the waterpark. Staff was amazing. Levi from housekeeping provided a very clean suite that I really appreciated. The pizza from the waterpark was delicious!! Couldn't be more pleased. See you next summer~

there was not one thing we did not like

Staff was VERY pleasant and accommodating at the front desk, in the snack shop inside the water park, at the restaurant and even in the game room. All areas throughout the hotel (water park, game room, hallways, etc.) were kept clean and tidy despite being fully booked.

Hot tubs need to be monitored closer. MANY unsupervised children goofing off and playing in the hot tub. Several parents had 2yr olds and BABIES in there as well. =( Lazy river wasn't so lazy. MANY children without tubes running/swimming/playing tag throughout the lazy river, knocking into lounging adults, pushing thru the floaters.

Large family get away. All of our children and grandkids! We had a great time at the waterpark was awesome! Staff were very helpful and kind! Rooms were quiet and large! They were also very clean and all 14 of us could get together in one for a continental breakfast we created and a dinner of pizza one evening . We had a great family get away and never had to leave the resort!

Beds could use pillow toppers and softer pillows, and kitchen more utensils. The maple and moose restaurant mixed up the number of guests at our reservations and until the manager came to our rescue with our info, we were awkwardly standing at a table in the middle of the dining room when all they had to do was set two more places by simply adding a small table on the end.

Rooms were big with separate room for parents. Loved the fireplace and outdoor balcony.

Booking.com allowed me to book 2 adults and 3 children, but when we arrived at the facility, there were only 4 wristbands available for us since the room at Timber Ridge is built for 4 people, not 5. (tere are 5+ rooms - but that is not what was originally booked through booking.com) Timber Ridge graciously gave us a 5th wristband, but booking.com has no filter to stop someone from paying for a 4 person room. I simply booked what came up through the search for 5 people on booking.com - not a pleasant experience to suddenly owe another $500 on site. This is not the first time booking.com has not been completely "synced" with the property I book, so I will probably choose another site or direct to the hotel next time.

Overall a great stay with waterpark and arcade for the kids. Our 11 year old really loved spending 3 days here (mostly at the waterpark). The staff was great with checking on us everyday via msg. Location is perfect with many places to eat , and grocery stores are close too. The balcony is nice addition to the room, perfect for warmer months.

The rooms are outdated. The bed and sofa bed, both are not comfortable. Kitchen needs to update the utensils. They are all worn out. The housekeeping doesn’t come everyday.

The rooms were spacious and had all of the amenities that you want. Double adult jacuzzi tub in the room and a pull out couch. Pack n play for the baby. Kitchen with dishwasher and stove. Full size fridge. I really liked how there were two thermostats in the room. A separate one for the master bedroom separate from the main room. I never ran out of hot water and we used a lot of water. Our room was wheelchair accessible, close to the outside door in front of the disabled parking. Very convenient for us. I also liked how we were able to use the gym at the grand geneva included with our stay. We had a very nice time. The water park staff were very nice and as accommodating as they could be. The disabled water chair didn’t work on one trip to the water park but did work the next time we went. Staff was helpful and nice. We tried new things and had a great time.

There were not enough utensils (chefs knife, wine glasses, cutlery) we asked for more or the items above and made do with what was available. It’s was still a great trip.

I liked the location as it was only 1 hour and 30 minutes from my home. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. My son enjoyed the waterpark, arcade and mini bowling adding. We enjoyed the fried pickles at the Moose and Maple restaurant. Our waitress the first night was Rebecca and she provided us with AMAZING service. Overall we had a great stay.

We had to ask for bottles of water. My room didn't have an ironing board. I asked for one and never received it. They gave us cards to play in the arcade but they only had 4 credits and it wasn't enough to play any of the games my son were interested in. You could also smell chlorine on the 3rd floor by our rooms which was far away from the waterpark.

The room was very clean + They text you when you arrive so you have constant communication with staff + The balcony + patio is such a plus + The location is perfect with stores you might need within 4 min drive + only $50 security deposit for 2 nights + Hot Water in suite + The kitchen was perfect

If you want a late checkout (even if just 1 hr) you have to pay $88+ even though I know they had vacant rooms around us; they said they couldn't accommodate but I knew that they could have + With all the extra things to do on the Grand Geneva Resort, a lot of it wasn't complimentary so all we really did was the Waterpark and at $850 for 2 nights it seems a bit excessive + The air was dry in the room and it seemed like the heating system may need cleaning; it was affecting our sleep. We used the shower like a humidifier to correct + I don't like that they didn't offer real blankets; we went to walmart and purchased 4 throws to be comfortable, which was an additional $100

Beds absolutely not comfortable. We was Two adults two kids. We paid With tax $335 per night. One full bed In bedroom and one very uncomfortable pull up sofa for kids.? Water park closed on weekend at 9:30pm I think so early. Only two slides and lazy river. Kitchen missing lot of stuff. No table spoons at all only small tea spoons. Not even one frying pan only cooking pots. So not so much choose to make foods. No cutting knife at all.blender not worked. Restaurant over prices. Glass of carbonated water $3, same like sodas.glass of cheep wine $13

The staff was friendly. Lots of fun activities for kids. Everything was clean.

My only real complaint was that the beds were not very comfortable. The other thing that could be improved was that everything closed at one time. We would have liked to wind the night down with ice cream or a calm activity. Something to lure the kids away from the water park, arcade, and bowling. I am sure it would increase revenue too. Overall though we were happy with our stay.
