Wonderful value for money. Paid £70 for a "family room" which was actually two separate doubles with their own 50" flat screen tellies and a shared en suite. I can think of other hotels that would call this a "junior suite" and charge over £200 for it. Facilities were exceptional. The price included entry to the leisure club which featured a generously proportioned pool with two jacuzzis and a corded off lane for length swimming and a thermal suite with sauna and steam room. There was also a well equipped gym but we didn't use that as we were with the kids. Was also very pleasantly surprised to find 6 separate CCS rapid chargers for EVs in the car park (better equipped than the huge Oxford Services where we stopped on the way up which only had 4!). Honestly couldn't believe how much we were getting for our money here. Would strongly recommend.

Great location and great parking spaces New revamped rooms are a lot better than before so highly recommend the stay very clean and tidy, also the new additions to the club rooms with the coffee machine and small travel shampoo and conditioner, not to forget the little village sweets and water bottle container. GREAT ADDITION Great staff throughout the building including Starbucks. Great pub and grill and really good portion size, with a relaxed feel to the place and multiple seating areas.

could do with more checks on the condiments on the evening as had to ask for new mayo bottles twice with both being empty and then just a pea size position in the new ones

Felt really cosy and had personality. Didn’t feel like a corporate chain. Beds were very comfy.

Security/key entry up to the rooms would have been reassuring as a single woman staying alone. Extremely limited vegan options on the menu. I did only order room service but was disappointed considering people with dairy allergies also eat them. Minor detail but the bathroom mirror light was EXTREMELY bright (almost unusable). Either a way to reduce the brightness or if there is a switch possibly a label as I couldn’t see a way to turn it off.

I absolutely loved how there was 2 separate bedrooms and a bathroom and both rooms had great TVs was really good for My daughter to stay in her own room. The bathroom was slightly dated and had a rusty plug hole but other than that I would definitely booked this room again 132. I left my credit card in the room and the lady came to give it back to us in Starbucks which I'm forever grateful. Was a lady with short browny blonde hair and glasses quite slim and tall. So thank you again.

A young guy part of pool staff said he cannot give us foam noodles when we asked for them (this was on the 9th of December, and on the 8th we were able to use them), he was probably too lazy to bring us some. But the older lady was very kind and she gave us some and we had a funny chat as well

The room was booked as an overnight stay after attending a wedding. The location was excellent. The bed was very comfortable. The complimentary drinks in our room were a lovely surprise.

The booking of an early check in could be made easier. We were advised pre-booking by hotel staff that we could book an early check in for £15 extra. However, this was not the case, with the Central Booking Office twice telling me that the hotel could not honour the request. We visited the hotel in person prior to our stay, and an earlier check in was eventually arranged.

The check in was great & easy, including parking. Very helpful and friendly staff at check in.

Window did not fit in frame properly so it was quite noisy. Pre check in request was to be in a quiet room, while the location was quite in relation to traffic, it was above toilets, so the hand dryer resonating through the entire wall up and was very loud up until late and starting once breakfast begun. I had a night shift so had to go out for 9.30pm to 1.30am so was not too bad going to sleep, it was not ideal being woken so early, around 6.30am.

The spa was amazing.i loved the steam room,sauna,spa pool. Check in was easy and staff were very friendly. The beds were very comfy and the room was nice.

The breakfast was a bit of a let down. No teaspoons anywhere. I had to ask for a fork as only tablespoons and knife on table. Coffee machine had only tea and coffee no hot chocolate.I had to walk to find milk.no napkins and only scrambled egg on offer but I did ask and they cooked fried eggs for me.The tip of one of the servers fell off and nearly landed on the floor.Apple and orange juice was very cheap tasting.

Excellent. The staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable. We stayed from the Wednesday 7th May to Saturday 10th (we actually extended our stay by one night because we were very comfortable there) I can’t recall the names of the girls on the desk but whoever was working those days on the front desk - they were lovely and super helpful and deserve some recognition for their hospitality.

The reception staff were very helpful as we booked 2 rooms on one night and 3 rooms on the following g. The staff linked the bookings so we didn’t have to move rooms after the first night.

The basic room was ok but minimalistic and missed some important things. The room was for 2 but with two people in one room with only a bed and one chair how do you relax? The room was very hot and even with the window open the blind covered the window gam so there was no fresh air. There were no heating controls.
