I really enjoyed my stay at Groton Mount Hotel. The hotel needs to improve the room cleanness in general and need to do some room for improvements. Other than this, It’s quiet, which makes it perfect for a peaceful rest, and the price is very reasonable and free car parking as well. The room was comfortable for the price i guess, and I was especially pleased with the service from the receptionist, Bini. He provided everything I asked for, showed me around, and explained all I needed to know for my stay. He was professional, kind, and very helpful during check in, which truly made my stay better. It’s always a relief to be greeted with a smile after a long and tiring journey. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again!

I had a pleasant stay at Groton Mount Hotel. It’s a quiet place and good value for the price. The room was comfortable, though it could use a bit more attention to cleanliness. I have stayed here for four days and what really made the difference was the receptionist, who was very professional welcoming and really smart guy. During check-in he took the time to explain everything and make sure I was settled in. This kind of service really stands out and make difference for my stay.

The room was quite small, and although a cleaner came around, but never asked if I wanted my room cleaned, which was a bit disappointing. Cleanliness could definitely be improved.

This was a fantastic place to stay and I will return. It is incredible value for money with friendly staff. I arrived very late due to train delays, and then wished to extend my stay, and they were happy to accommodate both. The shared bathrooms and kitchen were clean, and the room was above expectations including free coffee and tea. There is a nice café a few minutes walk away (Mount Road Café) as well as two supermarkets only a bit further. The hotel is within walking distance of buses and a small train station with Northern services to Manchester Piccadilly. These only come once an hour but take you into the city centre in under ten minutes.

There is not much I did not like as this one of the best budget-friendly hotels I have been to. It would have been nice to have a fan to help with circulation of air overnight.

The location is excellent for both vehicle owners and those taking public transport as the location is a short distance to bus stops. Accessible to major attractions in Manchester within the shortest time.

Different guests with some kind of awkward behaviours; like making noise during odd hours, leaving the kitchen and toilet untidy. However, the workers always make sure all these are corrected.

The rug carpet was not vacuumed and the dust myth was under the bed as I am allergic to that. • The bedside table was dusty •The wardrobe almost fell on me •The microwave was disgusting as it got dried food splashed in it. I would suggest they mount the wardrobe to the wall strongly and always vacuum and wipe the room before lodging a customer. Lastly, the microwave should be changed or degreased and cleaned properly

The hotel was easy to find. Just exit Ryder Brow train station, 3 stops from Picadilly, turn right then take next right into Darras Road and follow it to the other end. A bit of a walk, yes, but worth it. It was nice and quiet, the road outside wasn't noticeable. The chap on reception shook my hand and actually carried my case to the room, which was gratefully unexpected. The room was clean, albeit small, with a single bed. I went there to sleep, not entertain. Separate showers and loos are shared as is the kitchen. Better than having a space hogging fridge and microwave in each room. I was originally booked in to room 7 but, as the guest for room 8 hadn't arrived yet, I was offered it instead. Room 8 has a window, good for ventilation. Room 7 doesn't. Free WiFi in all rooms.

None of the rooms have TV's although, to be fair, who watches TV these days. It may have been an oversight, but there was no bin in my room. No problem, I used the one in the toilet which was opposite my room. I keep forgetting to photograph the rooms I stay in, sorry.

Very satisfied with the services in the hotel. Lot of improvements compared to my last visit as some adjustments have been made. Keep it up guys.

Noisy guests, though, not the fault of the hotel management as there are different types of human being. I suggest there should be guidelines clearly written out and handed to guests as they come in on how to behave when in the hotel so as not to disturb others and how to maintain cleanliness.

I like how you get more for your stay than the pricing because the rooms are lovely, the area is quiet and whatever you’d like in your hotel room can be arranged like a TV for example, I enjoyed my stay here plenty.

There wasn’t anything to not like about this property and the amazing staffs that work here, even the shared spaces were kept neat 100% and well taken care of

Dan the host was amazing he went above and beyond to make sure all guests needs to met to the best of his capabilities and was alway happy to have a chat and and make you feel like you were home. The manager makes this place a enjoyable place to stay.

A sheltered smoking shelter

The staff was amazing. He was very nice and helped me carry my stuff upstairs and downstairs without even asking.

The washroom was okay but the wash basin had water floating in it.
