I don’t have nothing bad to say about the hotel, Everything was perfect and I well definitely go back there ga again. Very nice staff they are so friendly.

From the moment I arrived to check-in, I was impressed. Your sense are presented with a look, smell, and feel of luxury. Staff were warm yet professional. Efficient and knowledgable. My room was waaaaaaaay bigger than expected! Excellent facilities, comfortable bed, great coffee machine, and a birthday surprise greeted me. The hotel's spa facilities are small but perfectly formed. The infinity jacuzzi thingy is divine. Sheltered enough that I could safely enjoy it during a storm warning but outdoorsy enough, too. The ground floor bar has a great atmosphere, with dimmed lighting, comfy corners to nestle in, great service, and a G&T that hit the spot! I would go back any day of the week!

If they could've arranged for Chris Hemsworth to greet me in my room, I would have awarded them 11 out of 10! There's nothing to not like.

Fabulously clean and extremely nice shower in room. Lovely fabrics for towels and bedding. Quiet location but still very near city centre. Huge TV. Lovely Spa package with fantastic staff and facilities there. Spa (nextdoor to hotel) was immaculately clean.

The hotel room I had (‘snug room’) became very hot during the night and I could not get the AC to work or the window to open. No instructions for the AC unit, just couldn’t figure it out I’m afraid. Also couldn’t get only the bedside lights to work without the ceiling ones as well. Had an interconnecting door with the room nextdoor which was fine and the door was locked, but I could hear their conversations all evening, didn’t feel very sound proofed and the light from their room was shining into mine round the door when I turned my light out. Being charged for bottled water in the room wasn’t great. Never paid for water anywhere before and I’ve stayed all over. This needs a rethink by management I feel. (It’s the summer, people need to stay hydrated)

We arrived before check in and the reception staff happily took our luggage so we could go for food without the suitcases. When we came to the room later on, our luggage had been delivered to our room which was a lovely touch. The staff were incredibly helpful, welcoming and professional. The room was beautiful and exceeded expectations…super comfy beds, lovely furniture and decoration, gowns, slippers, well stocked mini bar, coffee maker etc. The bathroom was stocked with beautiful Espa products, had a freestanding bath and rainfall shower…heaven! The steam room and the heated rooftop pool over looking Manchester were the highlight! The hotel is extremely accessible with a lift to all floors and wide hallways. Despite being in the city centre it was really quiet. The location is brilliant, you can easily access the main areas of the city centre within a few minutes walk and Ubers to and from were surprisingly well priced! I can’t wait for my next stay!

Nothing could have been better!

The central location, the bathroom and decor and comfy mattress. The rooftop pool and lovely service of staff. The atmosphere of bar. The luxury smell of the ESPA products and Reed diffuser in room. The shower. The full sky TV.

No complimentary water (I've never stayed in a hotel of this level without complimentary water and was surprised. The hard bed frame - have many bruises now! The bathroom sink tap - very hot water and cold tap didnt work well. Needed extra pillows (but staff were very attentive in sending more). No view in room. The phone light bleeped all night

I love this property for location and the rooms are really comfortable private and spacious. Really elegant

The roof top pool is in need of renovation- it’s such a feature as few hotels offer this feature in Manchester. But there is mold growing off ceiling, rust on walls, doors out of order and by 2 o’clock dirty no one has cleaned it. No were to leave belongings and really let’s the hotel down! Also reception staff not the most welcoming!

I stayed here for a little retreat as a surprise for my mrs, I must say I expected it to be nice but I was impressed from the minute I reached the front desk to check in, the room I will say the pictures do not do this place justice as it was perfect bathroom also perfect, I requested balloons etc and we walked through the door to a blanket of balloons covering the floor and rose petals on bed with extra special decorated plate with brownie and icing etc, I was very impressed to say the least and my mrs said the room was beautiful. Thank you also I must add the pool on the 7th floor is immaculate and impressive better in the morning around 9am as not many people will be there then so you have the place to yourselves.

Great hotel for the price. Comfy bed and room, nice quiet part of town so no road noise. Good water pressure, fantastic shower and bathroom facilities.

Room service very expensive. Sub par Caesar salad which was just shredded lettuce and dressing was £12, added chicken for £5 and I wouldn't say there was even 30g worth. We unfortunately had to get up at 6am to go to the local tesco to get some water. Only 1 small bottle of water in the fridge which was £2.50, which we had, but the water which came out the tap was too hot to drink. Sky Tv didn't work very well.

We had a fabulous stay at kingstreet townhouse, the hotel and spa are absolutely gorgeous & the location is perfect for lots of great spots to eat. The roof top pool is also an added extra.

I got charged for the birthday package on arrival, I went to reception & they were very apologetic, gave us 4 x drinks vouchers and complementary breakfast. We decided to not have the breakfast, as we already had different plans- when I received the itemised bill the breakfast had been charged, they have refunded me now. It was disappointing that there was a lot of messing around with different things throughout the weekend.

Well located, near everything or only a tram journey away ( including to airport)...shopping, Northern Quarter, entertainment, food.... The rooms are fabulous, each a bit different, all with spa (Espa products) in the bathrooms, the showers are wonderful! Books on the shelves in the rooms, differing in each room - a good selection Robes and slippers in the wardrobe, so popping up to use the infinity pool is covered. Relaxation area, showers... The spa is a quick exit to the left....great facility, with thermal and water area (no pool - as infinity pool 7th floor in hotel), great therapists. Lovely afternoon tea - have had this a couple of times, preordered gluten free. Breakfast, good quality and cooked to order. One of my luxury treats...to return again
