The location is great. It sits right in the center and makes sightseeing very easy and accessible. It's also nice to be able to quickly head back in case you need something. The beds were nice as well. The rooms seemed to be well protected against the noise from outside. The shower was very pleasant. Checking in and out is very simple. It's nice that we were able to store our bags because we had to check out before 11:00, but didn't have to leave the city until after 14:00.

The shower door didn't close properly. When asked for it to be fixed, it wasn't done properly. TV did not work well, it was only occasionally able to connect with any of our phones. The lighting from under the bed came loose and stuck to our feet. This was removed when we brought it up. We sometimes only received one new towel instead of the two we should have gotten.

Loved Breakast although a rather unorthodox dining room so eating breakfast at a coffee table had its challenges and you needed a jacket as cold air was constantly blowing through the vents. But the choice of breakfast was amazing and hot, buffet style with extras. Loved the bar funky with vibes not too expensive, and with caring staff. Loved the lifts, loved the location.

Hated absolutely hated the bed not the size or the quality which were both adequate but the position in the room, it was sideways on and my husband had to climb over me every time he wanted to go to the bathroom. The room was very hot at night couldn’t open the window as the streets were noisey ( understandable as we were in the middle of town) the air conditioning didn’t have remote control and no instructions for use. No full size mirror although there was adequate room for one the only mirror was above the wash basin.

The reception area is beautiful. Clean and really pleasantly presented. The hotel came across as immaculately clean. I loved the coffee machine on each floor. That was a really nice touch. Room was a good size, even though I booked one of the compact rooms. The hotel is centrally located and surprisingly quiet given its central location. Shower was one of the best I’ve ever been in! Love that I could sign into my Netflix account on the nice modern TV! I’d use this hotel again for sure, I really like the quirkiness of the Yotel brand.

The bed wasn’t particularly comfortable. The mattress felt cheap and worn and I didn’t sleep brilliantly as a result of this. I arrived for my stay at 2:40pm as I was meeting my family in town and wanted to drop my luggage off first, to save me wheeling it around the city. The staff member who greeted me told me that my room wasn’t ready and had me sit in reception until 3pm on the dot, when it suddenly became ready. I get that 3pm is their check in time, but discretion could have been used for 20 minutes. It would have been a kind gesture. I’m certain that my room was ready, he just didn’t want to let me check in 20 mins early.

Yotel is geared for functional comfortable accommodation. The room offered evening we needed, it was clean, the beds were not bad, and there was space for luggage and generally well thought out. The room doesn’t have coffee or tea facilities, there is a shared location on each floor with a coffee machine which I didn’t mind. The bar in the lobby is nicely done and has a good vibe for a pre drink before a night out or a night cap on your return. I saw they offered breakfast but we didn’t eat there.

Nothing not to like, it served the function well.

Overall very pleasant experience. Room super quiet, beds very confy, modern decor. Checkin very fast, no fuss. Staff very helpful, location very central and very well connected to public transport. The facility does not have a coffee machine in the room but each floor has a bean to cup coffee machine and you can enjoy a good cup of coffee or tea at any time of day or night. I thought that was brilliant. Each room has an air conditioning unit so you can regulate the temperature of the room.

I could not figure out how to turn on the little radiator in the BR which would have been useful to me. Some missing items in the BR. No bin liners for the bins. Possibly that's to save plastic but made me feel Iike I did not want to use them. The ceiling in the room (2 different rooms) do not have plaster and give the room a feeling of being under renos. I did not get the feeling that this was done on purpose and if it was I did not like it. The plus way outwight the minus - however.

Such a friendly welcome from staff, it's a self service check in but as soon as a staff member saw we were a group he checked us in instead, he was really polite and asked about our plans etc, he even upgraded one of the rooms for us after hearing we were there for a hen and our evening plans had been cancelled last minute. The bar was really nice, great atmosphere and decor. The rooms were perfect, great size for 2 people, very clean and had everything we needed, the bed was really comfy too. The tea/coffee station on our floor near the lifts was great too, fully stocked and easy to use. Location is perfect, originally we were heading to the arena but our plans changed and we went to the theatre etc instead, so easy to walk everywhere from here. Great bars, restaurants and shops all around too. We would definitely book to stay here again.

The central location in the city centre is great. The bar area and restaurant is really nice too! All the staff we came across were exceptional, really welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The room was super clean.

Not having coffee making facilities in the room. Thankfully the coffee machine was close to our room but having to get dressed just to make coffee wasn’t ideal. It wasn’t ideal not being able to open a window for fresh air, even being able to open it a little would have been good. The aircon was difficult to figure out and left us feeling a little dehydrated after needing it on in the night to keep the room cooler.

Stunning reception/bar, lovely decor. Staff always available, friendly and helpful. Tea/coffee “galley” on each floor with fresh milk available - I much preferred this to a dirty kettle and UHT milk in the room which you usually get! Air con in room worked great. Huge bed. Quiet. Great location.

The ceiling in our room needed painting. Unsure if other rooms are like this or if it’s a style choice but I didn’t like it. Hard mattress - my partner found it very uncomfortable. Shower floor could do with a bit of a scrub. Not much storage if you’re staying more than one or two nights. I’m really nitpicking here to be honest, it was a lovely stay.

Excellent location, close to local bars, restaurants and bus routes. Equal distance to local train stations. Amazing accessible rooms with a wet room for wheelchair users. In house bar in brilliant, we didn’t use the in house restaurant but have heard good things. The staff initially housed us in the incorrect room (due to us booking through a 3rd party app- not their fault) but were quick to remedy this and were extremely kind the entire stay. Amazing value for money. Plus we absolutely love the eccentric and quirky decor all throughout the hotel. We stay for our special occasions whenever we get the chance and love it every time. Highly recommend

Slight marks in the corners of the shower which were easily removed with some toilet paper which showed that the rooms weren’t cleaned as thoroughly as we’d have liked, however everything else was spotless

The hotel was gorgeous, a bit different without being completely out there. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They let us put our luggage in storage before check-in, with a numbered tag and gave us the corresponding ticket. As I'm a wheelchair user we requested an accessible room. This meant that we couldn't check in using the machines, as they reserve the accessible rooms on a different system to make sure that they can't be given to the wrong person. Which is amazing! I found the hotel very accessible. I could get from reception to my room via the large lifts with no issues whatsoever. The accessible room was well set out. I could get around both sides of the bed and into the bedroom with ease. I asked the staff if they'd put up some decorations if they had time. Which they did. Given how close to the pubs etc the hotel is, I expected it to be rather noisy in the room, but it really wasn't. There were also a few different emergency pull cords around the room. One in the bedroom, and 2 in the wet room. One near the toilet, one near the shower. The only issue that I noticed was the shower head didn't have a holder. But when I mentioned this to the staff they said they'd get maintenance on it. Neither of us also found the beds comfortable. They were rather hard for our tastes. But they were the only down points. I'd happily stay there again.
