The location is great. It sits right in the center and makes sightseeing very easy and accessible. It's also nice to be able to quickly head back in case you need something. The beds were nice as well. The rooms seemed to be well protected against the noise from outside. The shower was very pleasant. Checking in and out is very simple. It's nice that we were able to store our bags because we had to check out before 11:00, but didn't have to leave the city until after 14:00.
The shower door didn't close properly. When asked for it to be fixed, it wasn't done properly. TV did not work well, it was only occasionally able to connect with any of our phones. The lighting from under the bed came loose and stuck to our feet. This was removed when we brought it up. We sometimes only received one new towel instead of the two we should have gotten.

Loved Breakast although a rather unorthodox dining room so eating breakfast at a coffee table had its challenges and you needed a jacket as cold air was constantly blowing through the vents. But the choice of breakfast was amazing and hot, buffet style with extras. Loved the bar funky with vibes not too expensive, and with caring staff. Loved the lifts, loved the location.
Hated absolutely hated the bed not the size or the quality which were both adequate but the position in the room, it was sideways on and my husband had to climb over me every time he wanted to go to the bathroom. The room was very hot at night couldn’t open the window as the streets were noisey ( understandable as we were in the middle of town) the air conditioning didn’t have remote control and no instructions for use. No full size mirror although there was adequate room for one the only mirror was above the wash basin.

The reception area is beautiful. Clean and really pleasantly presented. The hotel came across as immaculately clean. I loved the coffee machine on each floor. That was a really nice touch. Room was a good size, even though I booked one of the compact rooms. The hotel is centrally located and surprisingly quiet given its central location. Shower was one of the best I’ve ever been in! Love that I could sign into my Netflix account on the nice modern TV! I’d use this hotel again for sure, I really like the quirkiness of the Yotel brand.
The bed wasn’t particularly comfortable. The mattress felt cheap and worn and I didn’t sleep brilliantly as a result of this. I arrived for my stay at 2:40pm as I was meeting my family in town and wanted to drop my luggage off first, to save me wheeling it around the city. The staff member who greeted me told me that my room wasn’t ready and had me sit in reception until 3pm on the dot, when it suddenly became ready. I get that 3pm is their check in time, but discretion could have been used for 20 minutes. It would have been a kind gesture. I’m certain that my room was ready, he just didn’t want to let me check in 20 mins early.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location was ideal - perfect for exploring Manchester. We arrived around 10pm but had no issues with check-in thanks to the easy self-check-in machines. A staff member was nearby and very friendly, offering help just in case, which was a nice touch. After getting settled, we had a relaxing drink at the bar - great way to start our stay. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable. The bed was large and very comfy - my husband is 6ft 3 and fit easily, which is always a bonus! Overall, a great place to stay for a city break. Would definitely book again!
The only small issue we had was that the toilet in our room didn’t flush very well. Not sure if it was just our room, but we used the WhatsApp number provided and a member of staff came to help right away, which we really appreciated. Also, on Saturday morning before 8:30am, there were no mugs or milk available at the tea/coffee station on our floor. It seemed like the hotel was quite busy, and staff were focused on breakfast service at the time which we totally understood. It wasn’t a big deal - we just went to another floor to grab what we needed - but worth mentioning.

Very nice entrance, friendly reception staff, tidy little room with a lot of hanging places, comfy bed and a nice hot shower! We really liked Yotel Manchester!
We chose the basic room with no window- so we knew exactly what we would get. I had no issue at all with the room and did not find the lack of window a huge problem. It's like being in a cruise cabin. Just be mindful that the room will be DARK at night. We left a bathroom light on and the door open a crack. The air-conditioning worked perfectly fine in our room, but when we first entered the room it was off and felt stifling. Not hot- just very, very still! These are not problems - just FYI for others.

The room was spacious and clean the window couldn't be opened but because the aircon was very efficient this was not a problem plenty of plugs and lighting. The waterfall shower was really good and the toiletries smelt really nice. The light up mirror was a nice touch as well especially for doing makeup. Loved the coffee machine on the corridor which I think is better than the instant coffee you normally get in hotel rooms. Check in and out was so simple you can do it all yourself so no need to speak to a member of staff. The hotel felt very secure and was in a really good location and coming back into the hotel after a concert they have security on the door and you have to show your room key. I had breakfast included which was really nice full English style plenty of juices they have cereal if you want and fruit as well. The bar looked nice as well although I didn't have any drinks here I would recommend staying here and would definitely book again.

Everything was great. The self check-in and check-out process was smooth and fully automatic, which made everything quick and easy. The design of the hotel is very aesthetic and modern, which I really appreciated. There was no carpet in the room, which made it feel cleaner and more comfortable. Both the room and the bathroom were a good size, not too small and not too big. I also loved that there was a free tea and coffee machine available on the floor. The hall was fantastic — a perfect place to relax or wait even after checking out. Another big plus was the TV, which allowed you to connect your own device.
The only downsides were the lack of a toilet brush in the bathroom and the wardrobe, which was too small to store clothes for a longer stay.

We had made a request for our two rooms to be beside each other as this was a family trip & we were pleased on arrival to find out they were & rooms ready earlier than expected which was also an added bonus to drop off our bags after our flight. Rooms were clean & modern. We didn't eat in the hotel but we did have a drink in the bar & were also offered an additional discount as we were guests of the hotel which was a nice perk too.
The bed in our room wasn't very comfortable but room was clean & had everything we needed for our stay. Hotel was Walking distance to Deansgate tram & train station but maybe a little too far for younger children.

Yotel is geared for functional comfortable accommodation. The room offered evening we needed, it was clean, the beds were not bad, and there was space for luggage and generally well thought out. The room doesn’t have coffee or tea facilities, there is a shared location on each floor with a coffee machine which I didn’t mind. The bar in the lobby is nicely done and has a good vibe for a pre drink before a night out or a night cap on your return. I saw they offered breakfast but we didn’t eat there.
Nothing not to like, it served the function well.

Great choice at breakfast, and the staff were knowledgeable about the Gluten Free options. Only a little sad that the sausages weren't gluten free but that's pretty normal. Hash browns, fried and scrambled eggs, bacon, shakshuka, mushrooms, beans, lots of bread and cereal options. Good juice too!
Just Gluten free sausages and possibly bread, but I had to plenty I could eat, so that just would have been a nice little bonus for me. Also having allergen labels on each food item would be so helpful. Sometimes as a coeliac you get a bit tired of asking about what's in what food, whereas a label just takes away that pressure to ask.
