The hotel is very central. Our room was spotlessly clean. It was quite small but it had everything we needed. Kettle, tea and coffee, even some biscuits! There was a tv and a fan which was wonderful as it was so hot when we stayed. The en-suite had all we needed, shower gel and shampoo and conditioner, even ear plugs! Great range of food and drinks in the bar and lovely breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.

I had arranged for a late check out which was agreed by email at a cost of £10, when we arrived, we were told the cost was now £15. A little disappointing as usually when you agree something in writing that is the arranged price but this is a very minor thing as everything else was great.

It was decent value, the location was OK, short 10 min walk to shops. The room was OK, bed comfy and nice shower and expected quality given the cost. Breaky was decent and a la carte, we are dinner invece which was nice and excellent value. Staff were friendly and attentive.

It is above a pub and on a busy road, so there is a lot of noise from drinkers quite late at night, which I had read some comments, so expected. Floor in the room was a little uneven in spots or holes under floorboards and slight mouldy smell in bathroom. Most of the better sights in Manchester were about 30 min walk away, so I’d probably choose a different area next time

WOW, what a little gem. Did not expect this establishment to be so wonderful, considering the price paid. Fabulous room with plenty of refreshments and comfortable bed. Lovely touch of earplugs found under a drinking glass in bathroom. Staff accommodating and friendly thank you Keeley and sarah, and the breakfast was delicious Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Stayed in Deansgate room on second floor. Had to ask for assistance with the droning noise in the room, as didn't know where it was coming from and quite irritating Lovely bloke called Josh explained it was the generator to cool the beers and would switch off at 10pm. Thankfully, it did, and the room was quiet for the rest of the night

a good small hotel in the city center, the hotel building is old, but clean and quiet inside) the staff is very polite and friendly, and the breakfast really amazed us, it was included in our accommodation and you could choose to order from the menu in the morning, they prepared fresh, beautifully presented food, for this money it's just super, thank you very much!

we had a heavy suitcase, but there is no elevator;( also no slippers and toothpaste, but these are just small things

Very comfortable bed and room. Lovely clean bathroom. Plenty of room,. Tea and coffee making facilities were a bonus. Great, vibrant welcoming bar downstairs. Fabulous breakfast. Close to and easily walkable to shopping/ AO arena/train stations. (nearest Victoria) Would definitely stay here again.

Could be a slightly, noisy as on main road, but it wasn't a big problem for us. We slept very well and were not disturbed. There were 2 sets of newly packaged ear plugs provided if required, but we definitely didn't find it noisy enough to use them.

Excellent location with all amenities within 5 minutes walk, staff very helpful, friendly and accommodating, the room was small but adequate and clean, food and drink options, as the venue says 24 hours, although personally I did not use this option, I have stayed many times in Manchester and my stay here was very good value,

If you value sleep, peace and quiet then you have to realize that with lots of other venues in the city centre, obviously the city offers options for late night activities and people do return late in the night, early morning, in a state of inebriation, this though is not necessarily the responsibility of the hotel,

It’s a great pub/hotel with breakfast included for when we come to Manchester Great location just out of the centre but not too far

We went down for breakfast to be told it wasn’t on so had to go to the sister hotel which i wish we hadn’t bothered with as we was ushered into the back for the dregs of leftovers that were cold shame really as breakfast is always good! We’ve stayed numerous times before and had discount on drinks as we’ve been staying with the hotel this time got told no and the woman was quite short with us like we was lying about it. Bathroom smelt a bit of drains this time round usually really clean and fresh

The staff were fabulous, & made what could've been an ok hotel stay, into a memorable one. When we arrived, we were met by Kayleigh, who was working at the bar, but also dealing with booking in visitors. She was cheerful, friendly & very helpful, advising us about parking & also booking taxis. Later, in the evening, working alongside Kayleigh, we met Alice, who was also very friendly & chatty. Both made us feel extremely welcome, when we returned from the show we'd been to see that evening. Both asked us about it, & if we had enjoyed. Later, having closed the bar to the public, they ensured we had drinks, & despite us being the only ones left, didn't make us feel hurried, & were quite happy to continue serving us. The next morning, when we went down for our complimentary breakfast, we met Abby, who was very cheerful & pleasant when instructing us about the breakfast service. I spoke to her about how nice the staff were, & she mentioned that "everyone worked really well together." Despite being an old building, the rooms were modern, nicely decorated & clean. The bed was comfortable, & there was an upright fan in the room, for which we were really grateful, as it was a warm night.

There is nothing to dislike, although the sink in our bathroom could have been better placed, as it was situated where you couldn't stand completely in front of it. It would've been much better fitted under the window.

The location is excellent for the city centre, shops and trams - we walked to the Coop Live and back - but you could also have used the tram. We also took a tram ride out to Salford Keys and Media City, great place for a 1 hour informative boat trip and the Lowry exhibition, Imperial War Museum and the ITV Coronation Street set. Our clean, comfortable and spacious room and ensuite exceeded our expectations and there was some lovely art work on the stairwell. It was great to stay in an older building full of character with a great view from the window. In the morning, we were greeted by cheerful and freindly Abi, who took our breafast order as efficiently as she had booked us in the day before. The breakfast was delicious and served quickly and was available for several hours. Car parking is over the road or in the secure Q-Park where the hotel can get you a 20% discount. All in all, it was fantastic value for money for the price we paid - highly recommended, we would certainly stay there again.

Nothing - it was perfect!

We love this hotel and use it every time we travel for concerts. Great location and close to parking, We had 2 rooms booked both were very clean, nicely decorated and well appointed. Everything you needed was in the room and if it wasn't all you had to do was ask. Staff are really lovely and accommodating nothing was too much. Good choice of breakfast items included too which we all enjoyed.

Although we have no complaints I will say there is slight road noise but as you are on the corner of a main junction it's to be expected if you are sensitive to noise you may want to take ear plugs.
