The location is excellent. Fantastic breakfast. Excellent wi-fi. Brand new hotel with a modern feel.
The shower and cubicle is not set-up for a comfortable showering experience. How it's been installed means the floor, floor mat and anything else on the floor gets a good drenching. Also, the soap and shampoo dispensers have been installed to high. I am tall and found them difficult to use. If you are short you will have no chance at all as the shampoo just runs of your hand. Finally, the silicone sealant that seals the glass cubicle will never leak, but is hideously ugly. Yes, you may have guessed that I'm a plumber by trade but every little detail counts in a hotel of this grandour.

Staff were so friendly, each and every one of them, so courteous and professional too. Room ,although small for three people, was spotless and beds were comfy. Air conditioning is great as you can't open widows. Location is amazing. 5 mins from AO Arena, Victoria train station, bars, supermarket, Arndale Centre/Market St shops! Just Perfect & rilliant value.
The only thing was...and it's just a tiny thing...was having just one towel each! One big towel is not enough we need the small ones too! They were brought up Immediately on request but they should be already in room. This isn't a slight on staff but some management decision no doubt!

We had a wonderful stay at the Maldron Hotel. The room was ideal for our needs as we explored Manchester before our flight from the airport. It was super clean, reasonably priced, and conveniently located. Most importantly, the staff was very friendly, especially the young lady at the front desk. We appreciated having the gym right across from our room. We arrived early at 10 AM, expecting to leave our luggage until check-in, but they let us into our room right away—such an impressive gesture! That alone earns a 10/10 in my book. They also took care of our luggage on the day we checked out since our flight was at night. I highly recommend this place!

I've stayed at the Maldron's sister hotel in Manchester which was very good, this was even better. The staff were accommodating, friendly ( the one who springs to mind is the breakfast/ restaurant manager, chatted with everyone, acquired other breakfast items that weren't in the breakfast buffet area). So much to choose from the breakfast buffet, caters for all tastes even gluten free bread with a separate toaster. The room was clean ,comfortable. To be expected for a new build. Impressed with the mattress and pillows, especially the pillows they weren't stupidly soft, nice and firm. Location is excellent, less than 5 minutes from the Arndale Centre, Shudehill Interchange and Victoria Station. Also the cost was very reasonable. Online check-in was easy. I will recommend The Maldron to everyone and I will use the hotel again.
My only gripe was the quality of the sausages, they were OK not exceptional.

Hotel was great for a solo traveller, safe location just outside the city center but super close (basically a block away) without any late night street or people noise. Didn’t book breakfast, so other than sleep I wasn’t at the hotel much. For breakfast there are tons of nice places nearby. The room (deluxe double) was spacious, even as the bathroom. Nice shower, very comfy bed. Enough sockets and even USB to charge your phone. My room was on the non-street side and it was super quiet at night. There is AC as well. You can leave your luggage in the hotel’s luggage room.
The water pressure in the shower could have been better. Tip: more shelves or wardrobe space (the room was so spacious they could have easily put another wardrobe in the corner, now it was just a very empty corner) or something to put your suitcase on.

The hotel was amazing ,staff were so friendly and accommodating we needed cutlery and plates when we ordered a takeaway and they gave it to us .we didn’t feel like we burdened them .i loved the security measures in place ie:lifts are only assessable via a room card so no one can just wonder into the hotel .I didn’t wanna leave as the bed was so comfortable ,the shower was amazing too
Could have done with more water bottles to fill the kettle and the tea/coffee station to be stocked up more because I had to ask for more milk and sugar but I’m sure if asked they would be provided plus it would be nice if there was Netflix and more tv Channels to watch

I had an incredibly spacious room, very clean and comfortable. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and check in and check out are done online/self-managed at the desk, which makes the process quick and easy. The hotel itself is within walking distance from the city centre and all key landmarks, and its location makes it quiet, which is something I'm always looking out for.
This is something I ought to have noticed when booking, to be fair, but the rooms aren't fitted with a minifridge/minibar. Since the rooms seem to be so incredibly spacious, I feel like this would have been an easy and convenient addition. There is a restaurant/bar on site and a grocery shop just around the corner. Still, having somewhere to keep a drink and a sandwich overnight would have made a huge difference.

I can't rate this hotel enough. It is by far the best service I have ever received. Every single staff member is friendly and accommodating and the small details really do go a far way. My name was remembered at breakfast, the heating was turned up in the communal area because i put on a jacket and one of the lovely gentleman staff noticed and took the time to make my comfort a priority. the breakfast is absolutely lovely and great options available. the price is brilliant for an overnight stay and is close to amenities the front of house staff were really accommodating and made me feel so welcome during my stay. the rooms are comfortable easy check in process thank you so much to everyone that works at Maldron Hotel. I can assure you will be looked after if you choose to stay here :)

Excellent location and the staff were super friendly! We arrived extremely early so we knew our room wouldn’t be ready but staff offered to store our bags whilst we went out. We stayed the day of the Manchester marathon to watch friends finish it, it didn’t affect anything around the hotel which was good, we managed to get there fine. The hotel was clear and not noisy at all. We had a fantastic stay thank you
This hotel didn’t have any parking, but it did clearly state this on the site before we arrived, and not a big deal, with simply found a parking close by. I also found the room quite dark, we didn’t have any ceiling lights only small wall lighting but again not a problem really!

This was our second time staying at the Maldron Hotel, and once again, it did not disappoint! My partner and I had a lovely 2-night stay. We were originally given a room on the 4th floor, but when we asked if we could move higher, the staff were so helpful and upgraded us to the 15th floor with an amazing view—such great service! It also happened to be the hotel’s 1st birthday during our stay, and we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary cupcake—a really thoughtful and sweet touch that made us feel extra welcome. The room was clean and comfortable, the team was friendly and professional, and the overall experience was excellent. We’re already looking forward to our third visit—and many more after that! Highly recommend!
