Beautiful apartments, modern and clean. Loved having the smart tv! So many hotels miss out on this. Close to everything. Breakfast being included was so handy. The restaurant staff were so nice! Pool and gym access. Will be back.

Only took off one point for the receptionist who checked me in seeming a bit annoyed that I asked about the deposit as I genuinely did not see it in the messages. And also not having basic things like salt, pepper, and oil in the kitchen :/ as I can’t buy a large one for 3 days stay.

The Location is great!You have all facilities needed to enjoy your stay!Staff was really friendly.

▪︎ We stayed 5 nights and during this time not even once was cleaned.I did not know that their policies says that only when you stay 7 night you get your room cleaned once free of charge. Still 5 nights is long enough to have the room cleaned once,in my opinion. ▪︎ Also the oven was a bit dirty ,old and dry grease. Taking in consideration you claim to be 5☆ hotel I think these details matter,especially when the prices are so high.Having the gym,pool and jacuzzy does not justify these minuses and the price. We were before in december 2022 only for 2 nights City Suits II but to be honest after these second time I don't think we're coming back. In general is indeed a lovely place but when you expect to be a 5 star hotel all these details matter.

The Hotel is excellent. The facilities are good. The pool, jacuzzi ,Embankment kitchen .the al la carte breakfast was good My only problem, was the air conditioning was poor. They gave me a different room but it was similar. The telephone does not work, I'm told its being modernised. The staff were polite and pleasant. I will commend the receptionist Ravi. Not only did he give me a different room, he came to the room to take my luggage. This I consider above and beyond the call of duty. Thank You Ravi. Overall it's got everything you would need for a good Hotel.

The air conditioning and the phobe

The room was spacious It was clean The bed was comfortable The room is very well equipped. There are some usb sockets as well as regular sockets next to the bed. The TV has Netflix. The kitchen also have everything you might need. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. They checked us in as soon as it was possible, they provided what we needed with care. The location is great.

Cleaning is only done weekly, on our shorter stay there was no cleaning, which was fine, but not great. Check-in is a bit late. We knew about it, so it's fine, but could be better, and you should pay attention to it if it's important to you (you can of course leave your luggage with them).

A modern, spacious room with separate bedroom and sofa bed to accommodate a family. Was perfect for our night in Manchester. Good location, across from Manchester Cathedral. Parking across the road too. Everything felt very conveniently located.

Breakfast the next morning was the negative of the trip. The breakfast was great, food cooked well and tasted great. A la carte style. Felt like we were forgotten as customers and it wasn’t overly busy for the amount of staff on the floor. We waited almost an hour for breakfast, and never received the fruit or pastries we ordered and had to leave. The attitude of one main member of staff was rude.

A great clean cosy studio apartment with a panoramic city view, equipped with all mod cons including a washing machine, microwave, oven, normal oven hob, coffee machine, iron and ironing board and all cutlery plates and cooking utensils as well as a designated area for a sofa to watch a modern flat screen TV, And plenty of storage for your clothes. Close to all amenities and not far from the coach station. There is also access to a pool and gym.

There should be more emphasis placed on the benefits of picking a reservation time at check in for breakfast to avoid the breakfast queues especially if you have to leave at a specific time to get a coach or train. It would be good to give customers the customers to book breakfast reservation times on checking in. None the less the quality of the food and service by the staff serving breakfast was excellent. Also customers should be informed in advance that there is a safety deposit on checking in of £100 which is returnable to their account 5-10 days after departure to allow customers to budget for this in advance and make an informed decision of whether they can afford this or not and make alternative arrangements.

Good facilities in the room if you don't want to eat out. Great location. Very clean and attractive decor throughout.

Stayed here for a second year. Like everything about the hotel but breakfast service is very poor. Hoped after last year it would have improved but unfortunately not. Both visits were for concerts so hotel was very busy both times. The kitchen cannot cope with large numbers. We waited for one hour after giving our order for breakfast to be served. Staff is very nice but it was disappointing to see no improvement had been made from last year.

Perfect location right by the city center. If you're traveling via Manchester Victoria train station, it is a less than 5 minute walk. The gym has good equipment; offering a range of machines that target all muscle groups, a good range of free weights, and a nice cardio section that outlooks the window facing the city. Soundproof building, noises from outside dont seep in. There are no issues with noise what so ever at night.

I'm unsure if the aircon/ heating system wasn't working for our room or throughout the building, or if I just couldn't get it working right. Wasn't a big enough issue for me to raise to the staff. 9/10 because my partner thought the mattress was uncomfortable

Had a great stay on a Saturday night. The Studio Room was clean and well kitted out. The City view was nice at night (partially obscured by the Premier Inn but that cant be helped). Breakfast was really good - especially the vegan full English. The reception staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. I used the pool and it was a good size, comfortable temperature and not too busy. I've stayed here many times and would recommend it as a good option for service and good nights sleep

Unfortunately the bathroom sink was blocked - I asked for it to be sorted out but that didnt happen.

Loved the Embankment Kitchen restaurant, the breakfast was outstanding, fresh, quality ingredients, cooked to perfection. and with loads of options on the menu. Friendly, and very attentive staff throughout the restaurant and a high level of customer service throughout. I wasn't happy with the finish of the room. It needed a "spruce up". Broken shower, damaged and Ill fitting kickboard in the kitchen, no shower anti slip mat, ( my partner nearly fell) No bathroom fan, so it became very steamed up in the bathroom. Our stay was for one night only, which meant it was bearable and overshone by the positive aspects. On the plus side was the location, walking distance from Harvey Nichols, Selfridges, and the Arndale Centre. The facilities offered at the City Suites are great.A 24-hour gym and swimming pool and spa facilities as well as bar and restaurant serving high quality, fresh ingredients throughout the year. All in all, I had a few minor issues, but I would definitely recommend the City Suites and would book myself to stay again.
