Friendly & accommodating staff. The location was perfect, a 10 minute walk to our event & a 14 minute Uber into the city centre (on a Friday late afternoon!) Clean, comfortable room & a good breakfast in the morning.

The floor was warped in our bathroom, this was near the toilet, so whenever we went to the loo there was no avoiding standing on it & the flooring separates from the wall by a few millimeters, could be a potential future hazard. The net curtain in our room has 2 tears in it & a dirty brown stain, which is a shame & my reason for a lower rating as this can easily be replaced & tie in with the overall tidiness of the room.

Reception staff was welcoming and professional - I checked on his well being as he was being verbally abused by a drunk when we walked in. All other staff were helpful and friendly Breakfast selection was good - and preparation of alternative vegetarian or vegan sausage was fast and trouble free.

Our room could have been a little cleaner- we moved the seat cushion on the sofa and found remnants of someone’s rice & curry .. And my pet hate - the bathroom extractor vent was thick with dust - this is common at hotels but the rest was spotless Also a minor issue - the hot chocolate from the machine at breakfast was very watery

Check-in/out was easy, Taxi from Piccadilly train station was reasonably priced as were taxis to/from Co-op Live for the gig I had tickets for. The room was clean with a big TV screen, there was a kettle and tea/coffee/ biccies, the bed was comfortable and plenty of hot water in the bathroom. The room did have some street noise but I always travel with ear-plugs so not a problem at all for me. The bar was open when we got back after the gig and we ordered takeaway pizza from a menu supplied by the bar staff. Breakfast buffet was absolutely fine and I would definitely stay here again when attending a gig in Manchester. Thanks!

Good location for Co-op Live, but not a lot to do in the surrounding area. Parking on site for £5. Staff were lovely and really hard working. Breakfast was nice. Bed was comfy. Taxi to the Co-op was £7. There is a bus stop not far away as well.

The building and our room was very dated, not like seen in the photos. There were marks on the sofa and walls and the room smelt like cigarette smoke. We had to open the windows to vent the room. Someone had put a plastic bag over the fire alarm, probably so they could smoke, which I had to remove. The road outside is very noisy, but the windows did a decent job blocking it out when shut.

My stay at the Diamond Lodge hotel in Manchester was enjoyable and relaxing. I would definitely stay again. I got a warm welcome and a very nice breakfast the following morning. I recommend this hotel and would stay again if I ever visit Manchester and I need an overnight stay. The price was reasonable and the Diamond Lodge hotel is not far from the city center or from other forms of entertainment. A* Diamond. There were vending machines for refreshments on hand and I even though I didn't use it, there was an ironing room not far from my room. Excellent.

Although my stay was brief, I couldn't really find much at fault.

We weren't expecting much for the price, so we were surprised when we walked in and the reception was clean and the dining space well dressed. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. My husband and I were in the area for business and we would happily choose to stay there again. I am vegan so I was very impressed that they had a notice on the breakfast bar, to request for vegan sausages. Again I was happy to have an option if I wanted it. They offered a range of alternative milks, which again I wasn't expecting as we've been to 5* hotels that haven't offered vegan options, so this was a delightful suprise. Wonderfu and very helpful staff. Location was perfect for getting into the city centre which was required for our visit.

The property was easy to find and great value for money. The staff were absolutely brilliant very helpful and friendly and every single member made us feel welcome. Our bed was extremely comfortable and the room was warm and cozy throughout our stay. We booked the hotel for a gig at the Coop as it was close enough to suit our needs. I would definitely book this hotel again if we were visiting the Etihad or Coop.

On the booking it does say that parking is free however there is a £4 charge but this is the full price for an overnight stay which in comparison to paying £10 for a pint in the Coop is extremely acceptable. Maybe just an update on the booking site would help with any confusion.

We stayed for one night after attending a concert at the Co Op Live. The bed was extremely comfortable which was bliss! We slept beautifully. Room was clean and had everything we needed for the one night stay. Staff on the front desk were fantastic too and went above and beyond to help us. The fact we could open a window in the room was a nice touch as it really hepled air flow to sleep, as many hotels you can't nower days and it makes a big difference to my stay. Great location for the Emirates stadium or Co Op live, a short Uber ride away.

The walls and ceilings were a little thin so we could hear the guests in the room above walking around, but other than that nothing we didn't like about our stay.

Right next to Bell Vue station & 53 bus stop and only £6 in uber to Co op live. Decent breakfast and staff, especially the 2 when we checked in. Only thing I could fault was that the cleanliness of the bathroom was not up to my standards and personally I didn’t do shower curtains.

1. Don’t like seeing mould in grout, especially when there’s so many good products out there now to remove it easily and 2. there was somebody’s sanitary products in bathroom bin when I went to put something in it. BIG No No, this definitely should have been replaced before our stay, I do know things can get overlooked at busy times, but that should be priority.
