We weren't expecting much for the price, so we were surprised when we walked in and the reception was clean and the dining space well dressed. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. My husband and I were in the area for business and we would happily choose to stay there again. I am vegan so I was very impressed that they had a notice on the breakfast bar, to request for vegan sausages. Again I was happy to have an option if I wanted it. They offered a range of alternative milks, which again I wasn't expecting as we've been to 5* hotels that haven't offered vegan options, so this was a delightful suprise. Wonderfu and very helpful staff. Location was perfect for getting into the city centre which was required for our visit.

We stayed for one night after attending a concert at the Co Op Live. The bed was extremely comfortable which was bliss! We slept beautifully. Room was clean and had everything we needed for the one night stay. Staff on the front desk were fantastic too and went above and beyond to help us. The fact we could open a window in the room was a nice touch as it really hepled air flow to sleep, as many hotels you can't nower days and it makes a big difference to my stay. Great location for the Emirates stadium or Co Op live, a short Uber ride away.
The walls and ceilings were a little thin so we could hear the guests in the room above walking around, but other than that nothing we didn't like about our stay.

Right next to Bell Vue station & 53 bus stop and only £6 in uber to Co op live. Decent breakfast and staff, especially the 2 when we checked in. Only thing I could fault was that the cleanliness of the bathroom was not up to my standards and personally I didn’t do shower curtains.
1. Don’t like seeing mould in grout, especially when there’s so many good products out there now to remove it easily and 2. there was somebody’s sanitary products in bathroom bin when I went to put something in it. BIG No No, this definitely should have been replaced before our stay, I do know things can get overlooked at busy times, but that should be priority.

This hotel is actually very good for a supposed 3 star. We booked a twin room and were given a double. When I enquired we got a room with a double and 2 singles - an upgrade in my opinion. Beds very comfy, room was clean. Good breakfast in the morning - caters for gluten free and vegan! They even have a small bar/lounge area for when you're killing time etc.
The only downside is having to pay for parking onsite. Works out £4 a day/night. There is a bus stop just outside which takes you into the city centre though or just Uber/taxi.

For a budget 3 star hotel, we were not expecting a lot, it was just somewhere to get our head down after a long drive up for the football the next day. Firstly the parking was easy with ample room. We were surprised with our room, a big Sony TV with every app you could need. The bed was firm but comfortable. The shower pressure was great and temperature was easy to control. Lovely fluffy towels. The breakfast was amazing! Buffet style with lots of choice - cereal, fruits, croissants, toast, yogurts, sausage, bacon, beans, hash browns and scrambled eggs. We chose the hot food and it was good quality and well cooked. Everything was being replenished often. Staff were attentive but not over bearing. Easy check in and out. We would definitely stay here again.
Hotel is on a busy road therefore I was woken a couple of times during the night but this didn't bother me a great deal as I'm used to that at home! A real nitpick would be that the taps at the sink turned different ways which was slightly confusing but not a big deal at all!

Usually you get what you pay for… I booked a cheap hotel to use for a sleep after a show at Coop live and the bonus was breakfast was included in the morning. Well for what I paid, it was amazing! Twin room was clean and really comfortable. Towels and bedding all looked immaculate. Ten min taxi ride to Coop live so great location. Breakfast in the morning was lovely and a good selection! Staff were super friendly and helpful. Absolutely would return to this hotel again!
There was a “domestic” fight outside our room, although I didn’t hear it I was asleep, my daughter heard it and informed me! I cannot and do not blame the hotel for that though…. Shame some guests can’t handle their drink and want to behave in that way! Probs a good job I didn’t hear you as I would have told you what I thought of you and your behaviour!! Yes some could argue that “cheaper” hotels will attract those kind of behaviours, but I disagree if adults can’t drink and not scrap with each other… don’t drink or don’t go out, stay home and be a moron there lol!

Location ideal for exploring the area. Local bus service ran from just round the corner. Staff were great, very friendly and helpful and happily organised taxis for us as well as offering travel advice. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Our room was on the 1st floor and able to have windows open for fresh air.
Hotel was clean but some areas could do with redecorating as tired. Breakfast was OK, with options for hot and cold food. Not as much choice as other hotels but for cost of stay not bad.

Some reviews for this hotel may put you off. I stayed with a friend who is a proper hotel snob and was quite worried about stopping based on reviews she had read. We had absolutely no problems. The staff will do anything for you. They are polite, very chatty, actually have proper conversations with you. The beds were unbelievably comfy. The breakfast next morning was lovely, and whilst it could have been warmer, it's a buffer style one so you know things don't stop red hot as you move along the line, fetch toast, coffee etc. Buses outside are every few mins and around 10 mins into the city centre. Taxis around £10 to arena/coop live. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Manchester.
Nothing.

The guy on reception was efficient and very helpful. This was my 4th stay at Diamond Lodge & cannot fault the services provided. The guy at breakfast keeps a very clean eating area and everyone is so friendly. Breakfast buffet which is regularly topped up and all well cooked. I do not have a car as the local bus service is reliable and frequent. Good location as only 30min walk to Etihad or Coop Live & 10 min bus ride to Piccadilly Station, or train station 5min walk away.
Unfortunately stayed in room along main road & do like to sleep with window open. The traffic noise can be annoying at times along with sirens blaring.

Staff, welcoming and friendly, breakfast was lovely, self service with choice of cereals and fruit juices. Bacon and Sausages lovely although Bacon little salty for my liking. Vending machines available with snacks and variety of hot meals. With microwaves to heat. Room nicely decorated. Location not too bad, we were going to co-op live got taxi there due to rainfall and walked it back about 30-40mins walk. If we were going to manchester we would book again.
Bed, although quite comfy it was at a slight angle sloping down from foot end to head board. Still slept okay though. No plugs by bedside but was plenty by mirror/kettle/desk. No drawers in room just couple shelves in wardrobe it was okay without them for a night or two though. Had a drink in bar when came back from our venue and was told we need to add £1 on top for the drinks that was priced on the drinks list on the bar. A new list should be prepared with any new prices. We used the QR code in reception to book a taxi we booked it 17.50 to pick up at 18.15 still waiting at 18.40 other taxis were coming and going we asked another couple if we could share theirs in the end. The QR code is for Union cars, use uber instead.
