It did exactly what I expected. It was a room near a music festival that allowed us to get a good night sleep with value for money. We didn’t expect the finer things in life with this hotel. We wanted a room with a comfy bed to sleep after a long day in Manchester and got exactly what we expected. We’ve already booked to come again in October.

This was a perfect location for myself and two daughters. There is a tram link just two minutes walk away that is one stop from Piccadilly Station and two stops from Piccadilly Circus, making it ideal to access the city centre. The room was small and the shower is part of the room, however this wasn’t an issue for us. There was air conditioning which was welcomed given the heat, as well as a lift up to our floor. Downstairs there is a pool table (£2 per play) and a free table football game and plenty of seats. There is a Costa and a Dominos on the corner of the hotel to the left as you come outside. If you turn right as you come out of the hotel, just a short distance up, there is a Londis shop on your left. The staff were very friendly and our room was serviced each day with fresh towels provided (there is a card for you to put on your bed if you want your sheets changed). Overall, this hotel was a great option for us. The value for money was excellent.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel has key card entry to main reception door, staircase and lifts. Room walls are rock hard. Air conditioner can go as low as 16c. Towels, hair dryer and soap is provided. There are limited confectionary available at reception with bank card/contactless payments only accepted. Other food options available with a large canteen for other food and morning breakfast. Bee Network (Transport for Greater Manchester) Bus routes 216, 230, 231 stop by the hotel that take you to Piccadilly Gardens or Ashton-Under-Lyme. Bee Network's New Islington Tram stop is 4 minutes walk from the hotel. Etihad Stadium is nearby and Piccadilly Gardens is two stops via the Tram. Manchester Piccadilly Railway Station is one stop away on the Tram or a 15-20 minutes walk.
Location of the hotel is not the best with lack of shops nearby. Pillows were way too soft. Bed mattress felt uneven. TV only offered Freeview channels.

This property is in an excellent location for anyone visiting the Co-op live stadium. Very close to Manchester Piccadilly with good access to public transport. Dominos is useful as is the Costa. Both literally a stones throw from the entrance. We were put in a family/triple room which had a bunk bed above the double bed which my daughter loved. The room was very spacious.
Didn’t have the breakfast. Although not expensive, we’d like more than a continental personally. We paid for the tea/coffee tray. Although not expensive, I don’t think there should be charge for this. I’ve never stayed anywhere that doesn’t have tea/coffee in the rooms.

Considering how little we paid for our 3 people room, you cannot ask for much more. Yes, the room is pretty small and compact, but it's a budget hotel and it perfectly executed its job, which was to have a trustworthy place to sleep at a great price. For us it was even cheaper than some hostels. The position was good, the reception staff was very friendly. Beds were pretty comfy and roomy enough.
The bathroom is reaaaaally small, like if you're decently tall your knees are gonna be touching the door when you're sitting. The shower gets messy as it's in the room and the way the shower door is (glass and with some space at the bottom and where the handle would be) makes it impossible to avoid water getting on the room's floor. Having no power outlets by the bed is also a little flaw.

Excellent hotel - all round brilliant. Great value for money, decorating and overall presentation of the hotel didn't give a budget impression but was very nice with good attention to detail. Soaps were provided, I like that there was a lot of effort to reduce single use plastics. Staff couldn't have been more friendly, polite and welcoming. Great location, accommodating of my niche access needs. Pool table in the main entrance, breakfast is available for an affordable price. They also offer tea and coffee trays for a very affordable price (£3.50). Nearby parking is affordable and plenty. Would highly recommend.
One of us found the beds to be slightly on the firmer side, however the pillows were very fluffy and soft.

Clean, friendly and helpful staff, the corner room assigned to us is spacious. Bed comfortable.
Location .. not many eateries or restaurants nearby. Only a costa coffee and a Domino Pizza. Small mini Mart at the corner . Would be good if the lighting in the corner room is brighter or there is an extra lamp.. the corner near TV was very dim. The toilet light works on a sensor and need to make some movement to keep it on . Would be good if the glass of the bathroom is opaque. Not so convenient as we were with our daughter.

Booked this hotel for two nights Sunday 9th and Monday10th March as we were going to concert at Coop Live to see Teddy Swims. Room had everything we needed including hairdryer, air con, very comfy beds (requested extra pillows and they were supplied). Blackout blind so not woke early by the sunlight. Shower and separate toilet. Bonus not having to check out till 12 noon on departure day.. Loved the fact that we were allowed to use microwave in reception to warm up a microwave meals that we purchased from Aldi which is only an 8 mins walk. Location perfect 10-11 min walk from Manchester Picadilly railway station. New islington tram stop across Road from Hotel and it took us straight outside Co-op Live at Eithad Campus. Staff really friendly and helpful this includes the reception staff and cleaners. We opened the shower cubicle door but was greeted with a nasty smell coming from the drain hole we collared one of he cleaner on our floor and she came in and put some fluid down the drain and within a couple of minutes the smell disappeared. Definitely value for money 2 nights £88 would definitely book this hotel if we go Coop Live again.
Only a very small bin for rubbish probably could do with bigger bin as we ended using a carrier bag to put in other rubbish.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and pleasant. The bed was comfortable. There wasn't a kettle in the room - not a big deal for us, but just a head's up for anyone who relies on their morning coffee.
On google maps, it looks as if the hotel is just along the road from Piccadilly Station. We exited the station from the Main Entrance, and it took us about 30 minutes to find the hotel. What we SHOULD have done is exited through the Short Stay Car Park Entrance (where the Taxi's drop off), then it's basically one straight road to the hotel.

Friendly, helpful staff; the hotel is a couple of minutes walk from New Islington Metro Station.
I arrived at 12.45, tired as I had an early flight that morning. I was hoping my room would be ready early as was the case at other times when I stayed at this hotel. I was told by the receptionist that I could have my room early but it would cost an extra £10 to get it!! What a rip off! I was forced to hang around on a horrible wet day, for three hours before eventually getting my room, I have now decided that if this hotel wants to treat their customers in this manner, I won't be choosing it for future visits to Manchester
