Excellent friendly welcome from Ben, the night manager, and definitely an asset to the hotel. The room was great, clean and comfortable, you have everything you need, kettle with mixed teas and coffees, biscuits. Iron and ironing board in room, the iron was fab, which in our experience the irons in hotels are normally poor. The most comfortable mattress, pillows, and bedding. We ate in the restaurant twice. Both meals were good, the serving staff were friendly, but there was only one person serving the bar and restaurant, there really should be 2 people on service to cover this area. The breakfast was a buffet style of excellent choice and quality. We would highly recommend this hotel and will return.

i love the interior of the property and most importantly the staff! the welcoming was amazing the greetings when we interacted with the staff throughout the stay were exceptional.. i cannot wait to come back everytime we’re in manchester! Jess was so welcoming upon arrival and did everything she could to make sure we were satisfied :) Ben is an asset to your company! i have never met such a charming and kind person, he remembered details about us throughout our stay and continued to ask how our anniversary night had been and spoke to us about our day at breakfast the next day, thankyou to ben and jess!

everything about the hotel is great apart from one staff by the name barbra who works in F&B at the hotel restaurant she was very discriminating to my friend and arrogant towards us both,I felt very intimidated and looked down upon with my friend just because we were black,the management need to have a meeting with her…her tone of voice and approach when asked why she talked to my friend in that manner was very unprofessional

The hotel is nice and clean, my room was spacious and comfortable.

The location is not the best. It took me almost half an hour to get to city centre. Also, the area to get to Picadilly Station is a bit abandoned, I did not feel comfortable walking alone there. It takes around 15min to get from hotel to Picadilly Station which is not practical if you're carrying a larger suitcase. If you want to be in the city centre, you might think of finding a hotel near Victoria Station, for example. It's a shame, because Leonardo Hotel is really nice, I have nothing to complain about except its location.

The room was lovely, the bed large and very comfy. I used the gym which was very small but good to have available. Breakfast was good, the staff member that checked me in was cheery which was a nice start to the day. About a 15 minute walk from Piccadilly station which was good for me.

Digitally checked in which meant my room key wasn't activated for the gym. Also, the lifts to the top floor are not regular, I ended up walking my suitcase down all 12 flights after waiting for 6 minutes and the two lifts that actually arrived to be full of trolleys used by the staff. Also was charged £1 tax when checking in, bizarre!

Staff were lovely, beds and rooms super comfy and they accommodated our requests. Very Reasonably priced 24 hr parking nearby, lovely breakfast. Would definitely recommend and we are looking forward to staying there again .

Not really a complaint as it was a lovely thing to do but we were told on arrival everything in the fridge is complimentary so we were very excited but it turns out there was nothing in the fridge! We did find this very funny and it was definitely thought that counted 😉

Very spacious room. Clean. Stylish decor. Great shower. Comfy beds. The restaurant food was really nice. The tomato soup was execeptional. Friendly staff. Hotel bar with great range of drinks.

Curtains cover one whole side of the room, create the false illusion that you have a large window, when in reality, the windows are tiny, and the rest of the wall is just wall! Fridge was tiny and not very cold. There are NO balconies to any of the rooms in this property, which I feel is a massive waste, as they DO have balcony space, but choose to grow plants on these spaces instead, rather than utilising the outdoor space for their guests. Tv needed to be positioned more centrally between both beds. Some drawers and wardrobes would have been nice. But it was still a really nice room and great stay.

The room I was in was clean and had everything you need, a bit worn and dated compared to other hotels in this chain I have stayed in but it was still nice enough. A kettle and selection of teas was provided as well as a mini fridge. The bed and pillows were very comfortable! Staff were friendly and helpful in accommodating me for an early check-in, and the location is great for events at the co-op live stadium: about 25 min walk to there, and very close to tram stop, and just a short walk to Piccadilly station as well. All in all it was a good hotel, and would recommend for someone looking for a place to stay that’s a bit cheaper than more central hotels.

The desk/table area along the wall is so low to the ground, it’s really awkward and uncomfortable especially when using the tea station
