The location is excellent, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The free breakfast is delicious. Eddie, at the bar, is awesome! The nightly entertainment was good. The Rooms were clean and comfy .

The resort needs a few maintenance tweeks here and there. The water pressure was really low in the room I stayed in, but ok in family members room.

The staff was great! the location is perfect! the Thirsty Turtle has great vibes, delicious food and reasonable prices. I like their 3 - 6 Happy Hour prices so we ate there the majority of the time. I also like that there are events every night: the Fire show was incredible, the Crab Races were short but fun, Karaoke was enjoyable and the live entertainment was really good. The rooms are spacious, with well-working AC and they were surprisingly quiet. We had room 13 and liked it. The hammocks are a nice touch and we enjoyed seeing the cat around the property.

The water pressure in the shower is bad but I think that is to be expected in Roatan.

Bananarama has a perfect location beachfront. It is right in the middle. It has great staff and lots of live entertainment. Food is great at the retaurants and has a great atmosphere. Breakfast was included. The rooms are a bit basic but they didn't take away from the experience. We will return. While we did not dive, everybody else did and were very satisfied.

The facilities are a bit basic but it didn't take away from our good time. It is an expensive beach so Bananarama was a great value.

We loved the location very private of our little cabin. It was tucked away in a corner away from all the noise. Cleaning staff did such a good job and room always smelled great! Very kind. The diving area staff were nice and helpful. Our driver to and from the airport was awesome! We felt safe all the time at this resort. The beach seating is clean and security staff always had smiles.

Wait staff at restaurant was rude and looked like they didn’t even want to be there. Not informative at all and didn’t even smile.

Staff were very nice and I needed to print some documents which they did for me at reception despite being very busy which saved me a lot of hassle. Lovely beach! Breakfast was really nice. The room was a good size and very clean.

It said on the booking that there is parking and there isn't, so I had to pay for something nearby. Wasn't that bad though and I'd stay again.

Property is good, WIFI was strong, hot water worked as well and daily cleaning

cottage itself #14 has a loft bed accessible by wooden steps which could be inconvenient depending on your guest. No TV availability but biggest complaint would be very very low water pressure!!!

The location is amazing! Our room was steps to the bar and restaurant and the beautiful beach. The staff was attentive and fun. And the evening entertainment was great. Jefferson at the bar never failed to keep a cold drink at hand 😀, and if you want to do any activity, the island offers the excursion kiosk near the beach is awesome!

The only real issue we had was some kind of mix up with our reservation about halfway through our stay, where our room was double booked. I have no idea how it happened, but we were asked to move to make way for the incoming family. It made for an uncomfortable couple of hours, back and forth with the reception, but they eventually dropped the issue, and we stayed in our original room. To their credit, everyone handled it politely, and I think sometimes these things just happen.

Really nice hotel with excellent facilities, very comfortable, access to the beach, relaxed and friendly staff, and importantly they seem to care about their impact to the local community and environment. Support the Marine Park and have a great dive center. Also, the best bar in the whole area! And great food. The design of the hotel is more in line with the nature of the island and it's culture and traditions, respecting nature better and less harmful to the coral, which is quite close to it.

It is unfortunate tha because it's really good and friendly - it gets overwhelming busy when the cruiser tourist arrives. The staff become extremely busy and take long in the restaurant and bar, the beach is saturated and you won't find a spot where to seat and it fills with vendors trying to sell anything. If you are not planning to going to the beach or restaurant/bar between 10 AM - 2 PM, you'll have an amazing stay

Dive shop activity early every morning just outside our room (room 2) was pound with a lot of shouting and loud discussion by staff. During day when there was rain there was the loud compressor noise used to charge tanks which made it difficult to hold a conversation on the balcony of our room. It was to the point we had to go to the bar/restaurant to get away from it. Room had limited room and storage for cloths - we basically had suitcases on the floor which meant little area to move around the bed.
