The room was cosy and warm on a cold night. The host was welcoming. The bed was good and comfortable. The host lit the fire for us and sitting next to it in the living room was great. Breakfast was included - good value for money! lovely verandah - and the gardens are being redone.

Only t;hat the seating next to the fire was a little too sparse to relax properly. Small groiupings of comfy chairs might be better. The host has just taken over the property so no doubt there will be changes. Otherwise all great.

Bester was very friendly and helpful. Property is secure. Lovely grounds and pool area. Aircon. Nice private outside area. Room with small fridge was perfect.

No portable Bar-B-Que, but nice restaurants close by. Only 2 coffee pods, no sugar or milk, but fortunately I brought my own.

Accommodation was great.Practically had the place to ourselves. Plenty of spaces to relax and chill. Pool was amazing. Air-conditioning in rooms welcomed. Perfect for overnight stay. Friendly and accommodating host.

Would have been nice to have a bar fridge in the room only because it was very hot.

The only comment on an otherwise perfectly peaceful stay would be to note that the cottages the tin room tends to amplify the sound of birds walking across it and branches brushing across it when windy. Only a problem if you are light sleeper, but my partner was woken a few times.

Beautiful manor with stylish interior, lovely garden & outside pool area. The hosts were friendly and went out of their way to make our stay worthwhile. Breakfast also great. Thanks Riana!

Everything perfect.

Bester was very helpful and fun to chat to. The en-suite room was spacious and well appointed with an extremely comfortable bed, great bedding and the best pillows. Loved the hand shower alongside the loo!

I could hear the guy from next door snoring and a reading light would be nice. Everything else was just perfect.

Friendly, good location as we were visiting family, super hot shower (even during loadshedding). We were very comfortable and had a great (albeit brief) stay.

Nothing, it was all good. I prefer milk (instead of Cremora) in my morning coffee but the staff were so friendly I bet I’d have received some, if I had simply asked. I didn’t ask so I can’t consider it a negative.

The room was beautiful! The bed was so comfortable. Loved the Aircon. Everything was so clean. Loved all the plants and garden. Do beautiful! Host was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Very happy with our stay.

The service was a little strange. On the first day they told us owing to covid there was no food or drink service. This was fine, we got our own drinks and snacks and sat outside. Staff even brought wine glasses and a bottle opener. Great. So on the 2nd day we again got some drinks and snacks, but then we were told there was service and that now we can't have our drinks and need to order from them. I personally would have been fine with this but it was a completely different message to the first day. Also, from a location perspective, it is about 5-6km from anywhere you really want to go.

Breakfast was great, staff very helpful and friendly. Very comfortable room and beautifully decorated with interesting art and lovely garden.

We love the news so DSTV rather than just Netflix. Milk and drinking water in the fridge for the coffee. There was only Cremora.
