It’s in the middle of a beautiful forest and right next to the beach which is white sand. The hotel design is marvelous, the rooms are spacious ; the beach bar and cocktails are great. Enough space for everyone, so it doesn’t feel crowded. The beds and pillows are conformance and very soft. The breakfast had a huge variety for everyone

The dinners are hits and miss type of thing. I would expect gourmet cuisine, but was not impressed. I liked the seas bass at Coucine de Mercado. I would definitely skip the Mexican cuisine night. The personnel doesn’t seem to be maturely friendly ( as opposed to all other places we’ve been so far in Costa Rica ), but it is more liked learned phrases and imposed on them. The prices for the meals are very expensive for that quality

The service is excellent, the resort is clean and well kept. The decor is a bit dated, but in good condition. They clean the rooms and organize your stuff so well and we left money and computer and it felt very safe all around.

The FOOD situation is pretty bad, especially in the main lobby restaurant. Apps are around $26-28 mains are around $40 and this would all be fine if it was tasty fun food but we are talking flavorless pizza, watery caesar salad, overcooked fish etc... Really terrible food, so if you are staying a week or so like us by day three you are annoyed by this.

W Playa Conchal is a high end all inclusive resort that caters to the needs of its guests. If you are looking for a cheap, rowdy party resort to overindulge - this isnt for you. The staff were simply outstanding and genuinely friendly, wanting to ensure our stay was exceptional. Their were so many staff members that were outstanding it would be unfair to name one individually. The 3 restaurants provided excellent meals and catered to specific dietary requirements. We highly recommend purchasing the all inclusive package to include meals and drinks. We loved our room with the spacious bathroom, balcony and very comfortable bed. The pools were excellent and close to the beach which was pristine and uncrowded. We had a very relaxing week at W Conchal, and although it is our first time to the beautiful country of Costa Rica, it wont be our last and definitely we will be returning to W Playa Conchal

We bought all inclusive and it was sometimes a bit confusing what was actually included and what was not. At check out the staff was really pleasant though.

it over delivered on every level. while expensive- there are other resorts that charge more and give you less . little things like easy access to ice and free chilled water- and the gym was fantastic.

it feels like a small thing but they clear the breakfast dishes too quickly, sometimes when you’re still eating!

It is not only a stunning resort - It is the incredible high levels of hospitality and customer service, the flavorful food and drinks, the utmost attention to detail, the friendliness and courtesy from every staff member calling you by name… a personable experience! We’ll definitely recommend this oasis and will be back!

The breakfast was pretty good (except I missed mango and the quality of bread were weak). The entire hotel is well organised, the rooms are well equipped and comfortable, the beach is Wonderfull but very dangerously wavy sometimes.

The only thing that we hated was the Friday music at lunchtime and Saturday music at lunchtime too. It was a mixture of rock and techno. And it was incredibly loud . Noone liked , noone enjoyed it but management said that was Mariott signature music. We escaped first time from the central area, second time from the beach.

me and my husband Loved everything about this resort. it was our 5th year anniversary and this place was perfect. The room we had was very spacious with a balcony pool that looked over to the “Jungle” and ocean. so we saw the monkeys every morning and Beautiful Birds. The room was super clean and very well kept. this resort is spotless all over. it only have 3 restaurants but the food was amazing very flavorful not like any resort food I’ve ever had. we took extra food to the room every night. the staff is very polite and caring 10/10. service is amazing we loved James one of the servers their and Rodney a bartender there. the entertainment is the only thing that they can use more of. But me and My husband did a private tour that we booked at the resort it was a little pricey but we really enjoyed ourselves without the crowds. That’s the only place I felt like they could really do more of is have more activities on the resort. But this place is very peaceful and relaxing. I will most definitely be coming back. P.S this place is a perfect mixture of Luxury meets wild life.

Beautiful property. The rooms were amazing and the pools and common areas were Beautiful. The staff was superb. Everyone did their best to make sure you had a wonderful stay. Great breakfast as well.

Great, well-trained, helpful staff. Beautiful surroundings, very well maintained hotel. Excellent food throughout the day. Both pool areas are wonderful, the beach is appealing as well.

The rooms are designed for guests for shorter stays, there is simply not enough space (cupboard, shelves) to unpack if you come for more than 3-4 days.
