We had a fantastic stay at Ona Alanda Club Marbella, thanks in large part to the amazing animation team – Eli, Anna, and Ana. Their energy, creativity, and dedication made the holiday truly special for both adults and children. Every day was filled with fun activities, laughter, and unforgettable moments. For the kids, it was nothing short of magical. From exciting games to themed evenings and creative workshops, Eli, Anna, and Ana made sure the children were entertained, engaged, and always smiling. Their warmth and genuine care created a safe and joyful environment where the kids made new friends and beautiful memories. Thanks to this incredible team, our stay was more than just a holiday – it was an experience we will always cherish. We’re seriously considering coming back, especially if we know that the same amazing trio will be there again.

The pools could use an update, they are a bit worn out

Excellent room and a great area with plenty of shade, plus several pools for both kids and those who enjoy swimming laps. The entertainment during the day and evening is nice and unobtrusive. The hotel is close to a kilometers-long beach and a lively area with restaurants, cafés, and a supermarket. Public transport is convenient with a nearby bus stop, and taxis (including Uber) were never more than 5 minutes away. NO mosquitos!!!! :)

Lovely pool and communal areas. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. As a previous owner of timeshare at Alanda the property is very well known to me, having visited many times over the past 25+ years. Great location for the beach as well as many bars and restaurants within easy walking distance.

The apartments are a great size (we had a 2 bed, overlooking the pool) however the kitchen and bathrooms are looking tired and dated, the tv’s didn’t work and the plumbing was noisy, both within our apartment and from above. The apartment had been cleaned before we arrived however the floors hadn’t been swept very well before they were mopped so lots of ‘bits’ underfoot.

The staff was friendly and always helpful in resolving any issues. The location of the hotel is great and only 500 meters from the beach. We didn’t use the outdoor pool due to the weather, as it was a bit cold, but the indoor pool, Jacuzzi, and sauna were nice. I used the gym every morning, and it was clean and equipped with everything you need for a workout while on vacation. The breakfast was okay, offering everything you needed. The dinner was good, especially the grill options.

Unfortunately, some parts of the property are a bit outdated and in need of renovation.

We stayed in a premium two bed and it was lovely. 3 bathrooms and a great kitchen with microwave and oven - with stove top and oven for baking/grilling. It was a short walking distance to the beach and two supermarkets. The carrefour had fresh baguettes and sushi which were both delicious. We overlooked the pool and could eat outside on our large balcony. The indoor heated pool and sauna were fantastic for our family to enjoy over Easter. Loads of restaurants and activities in the area.

Showers in two bathrooms had poor pressure. The best shower was over the bath.

The pool area was exceptionally pretty and nice with a lot of tree shade and different pools suitable for both kids and adults. The breakfast was very good and the breakfast chefs nice. The kids club animation team ladies were great, thank you for that!

The room had a lot of small, easy fixes to be done. (They got fixed after mentioning about them) The location is in the middle of an upscale hotel/holiday villa area and allthough we liked the pools and chose the location ourselves, we missed a local village/town feeling.

Ona Alanda Hotel Club is well located, only 15 min away from Marbella by car and not that far from the airport. The beach is very close by foot. The hotel is a good starting point for exploring the surroundings, lovely nature, villages, cities, beaches... The hotel has a good standard with numerous équipements available (kid parc, gym, indoor swimming pool etc.). Its architecture is charming with a very beautiful outdoor swimming pool. The apartment was very well equipped, perfect for hosting a family of two adults and two young kids. The breakfast is ok (except the industrial jam), we loved the fresh orange juice ! The reception agents were very kind and welcoming.

Our only disappointment is on the quality of the food for buffet dinner, we think it should be improved. We often felt we were eating industrial frozen food. And for christmas dinner some efforts could have been made... We were also surprised having to pay drinking water for the dinner, it should be made available like in the breakfast.

Apartment had all we needed and were cleaned every 3 days. The floor is a bit cold in April so take some house shoes or warm anti-slip socks for kids. The hotel has all you need to entertain yourself and kids. The indoor pool is heated so we enjoyed a lot of swims in it with our one year old. The outdoor pool is a rather cold this time of year. The sauna is old fashioned but very clean. The location is great, the beach is 5min away, the shops and restaurants too. There is a playground and an adventure park close. We had the half-cord 2 weeks long. Breakfasts were great a lot to choose from, fresh omelette, bread, fruits… The dinners were good but not a gastronomic enlightenment. Yet a lot to choose from and we always could find something to feed the one year old with. Many high chairs are available. The staff of the resort is suuuper friendly and suuuper nice with kids! Also very helpful with our stroller.

The beds were too soft to our taste. The chefs were a little too heavy on the salt.

Our apartment was wonderful. Open, airy master suite with a really comfortable bed. Super lounge area with TV and lots of English channels. Fully fitted kitchen with a separate area containing a washing machine & dryer. Dining area with table & chairs for 6. Lovely balcony at both sides with views over the fantastic gardens. The breakfast selection was vast with a chef cooking eggs and omelettes to order. On one morning there was a donut 'wall'. 5 minutes walk to a lovely sandy beach with restaurants and beach beds. Nice Italian restaurant across the road.

Location was great for the beach but not many other facilities near by within walking distance. Would recommend a car. Quite a distance from reception to the block we were staying in with a lot of steps up & down - the layout was very pretty but not great for carrying heavy bags.

The restaurant buffet was excellent, it really exceeded our expectations. There was a great range of food set out for breakfast teamed with the foods that were cooked freshly for you which was a great addition to the offering (including eggs etc). We only opted for bed and breakfast, but we ate at the hotel for one evening, which was a cheap price and again was an excellent selection and great quality. The lunch menu was fantastic as well, we had lunch by the pool a few times and again fantastic quality. The pool was lovely as well, far more space around the pool than I thought there was from the pictures. Plus there was none of that rushing to put your towels out in the mornings which we hate! The rooms were fantastic, really spacious apartment. Comfy beds and lovely sized modern bathroom.

There is a real wasps problem at the hotel, we would try to eat on the outside tables for breakfast as we thought it would be nice (also tables inside generally went first). But wasps would immediately swarm us when we were trying to eat. I'm genuinely surprised that we didn't get stung, it made it rather unpleasant if you couldn't nab an inside table. The apartment had AC, which was really efficient in the lounge. But ours didn't seem to feed the bedroom (I'm not sure if this was by design or a fault). Wasn't a huge issue as it wasn't hot and the lounge was off the bedroom so kept it cool enough.
