Has an elevator to the rooms! Very centrally located across from a large public underground parking facility. Very close to restaurants and the main square with the cathedral - less than 5 minute walk!

Receptionist only available as of 1 pm. Awkward access up a few stairs to reception with a VERY slow freight elevator to get suitcases up - plainly weird! It does have elevators to the rooms. There was an annoying, intense perfume smell in the room when we got there. The window was directly above an outdoor restaurant in a pedestrian zone. Luckily, the restaurant was closed when we were there, but this would be very loud with the window open! Disappointing, especially considering that we asked for a quiet room. Towels were thin! One bedside light was burnt out! The whole place had a definite budget feel to it!!

I have been coming here for years and every time the standards are constant. Well trained and kind staff. Clean room, comfortable bed, very good internet connection. I will definitely be back!

I would recommend placing a mini fridge in each room and maybe a coffee machine. Even if there is a vending machine on the 1st floor, it is not convenient that every time you want to drink something cold you have to get dressed and go there, have coins prepared . And the products are not always available (for example, one evening the vending machine did not have still water). With the current weather and temperatures(July, having something cold to drink is almost vital. Thank you!

We enjoyed everything! The staff was so friendly, nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was an elevator, air conditioning, and breakfast, which was exactly what I was looking for! The location was just perfect! Everything was within walking distance: shops, restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, clothing stores, tents set up with various produce, and many other items during certain days of the week. There were so many other stores, shops, etc. I found a very quaint tea shop and a candy shop! The staff was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. We found the locals to be pleasant and friendly! We enjoyed every minute of our stay and would definitely recommend the RiKu Hotel to all visitors! We definitely will be back! Thank you so much, RiKu UND Ulm, for such a wonderful holiday!!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast for the price charged! It has coffee with oat milk, very important for my lactose intolerance! Excellent location, just next to the Ulmer minster, and has everything around. The window in the hotel rooms is of good quality, unlike that of the hotels in the US. The design is simple but with taste.

The public parking is expensive, but that's the price to pay to park just beneath the Ulmer minster... The door of the hotel rooms is heavy to open and loud at closing. The ventilator in the bathroom is loud (but effective). The walk-in shower looks stylish and modern, but the water goes over easily if you use a lot of water for shower. The rooms do not have a kettle (so I bought one in a store nearby) - but that's the hotel's choice not offering one. It also does not have a fridge (which I do not need anyhow).

So…you were our second hotel. This hotel…OMG. You are located STRAIGHT in the center, the Center Cathedrale is just on the right. Loved loved loved! The most tasty restaurant is just a door opening from this hotel. We ate there and it was just PERFECT! Thank you Riku Hotel! You are in our top 2! They told us that the parking was neat and it was indeed so close- just 2 mins! Keep it going!

We loved the very central location close to several restaurants and the “Münster”, the convenient big underground garage across the street and the very friendly staff at check-in and at the breakfast. Everything seemed to be fairly new, nothing too luxurious but everything available with a good standard.

My key card did not work for the entrance door to the room anymore - and in the evening, nobody was at the reception. There might have been an emergency number around, but fortunately another guest let me into the corridor and my key card fortunately worked at my room door. The very central location in a city can also have a minor disadvantage: I couldn’t sleep somewhat longer since people were moving things (suitcases?) on the cobblestones outside - but getting this location, I would definitely come back again.

Reception closed in the morning, and so no baggage storage was possible. Also, it was quite noisy. Woke up several times from noisy from within the hotel (you hear people walking around and knocking on doors on the same floor and the floor above), and also outside.

Your location on NeueStraße in Ulm was exceptionally well placed for me, being exactly in the center of everything I wanted to be a part of.

The alley echoed the street noise, but this was no fault of the hotel and was of minimum concern.

Hotel is in an excellent location at the heart of the city - about a minute's walk to the Münster (church) and a short walk to the shopping steets and the historic old part of town.

Our room was large and very modern and comfortable. The location was just terrific! The lady at the front desk was friendly and very helpful. For sure would stay there again.

Having the front desk closed until 2:00 PM caught us off guard! Have never stayed at a hotel with this set up. It could have caused us great issues except we arrived at 1:50 so our wait outside was not very long but had we arrived at noon, it would have been a huge issue since we had 4 pieces of luggage. This was our only issue at this hotel.
