Location is very good, with all facilities within walking distance. Substantial breakfast included which, on the face if it, appears to be a continental breakfast however the staff member then asked if we wanted eggs and bacon. Staff were very helpful and obliging. We were promptly provided with a kettle and tea upon request as none are provided in the rooms. As expected in this ‘crooked hotel’, the room was on a bit of a slant but this was not an issue and added to the quirkiness of the experience.

We were on the first floor, with a corner room. There were street lights outside the room and passing traffic late into the night. More substantial curtains would be better to block out the lights from the street as the current ones were not effective. It was necessary to close the windows to keep out the noise but this resulted in the room becoming stuffy. Also, the lights in the room, and especially the bathroom, were not very bright.

Such a quaint place to stay. Great location in the old town. Very attentive staff, wonderful welcome. The bed was very comfortable and not on a slope, so we slept well. I liked the sound of the gushing water outside, but it might annoy some. WiFi was good. Breakfast was served buffet style with so much choice, loved the fresh fruit salad, and you could also have scrambled or fried eggs with bacon.

Our bathroom in Room Nr 9 had a sloping ceiling, but I am short and could just about stand under the shower. Just sit in the tub and have a bath instead! You should be aware that the stairs up to the rooms are narrow.

Excellent staff/service from everyone with whom I interacted. Very attentive to my needs, and happy to help check me in early and keep my bags after checkout.

Tourists outside the hotel can be loud/distracting in the mornings depending on if your window is open and where your window points. But that isn’t the hotel’s fault and more a consequence of its history. Outside that instance, it was quiet and peaceful.

It was totally as described. We stayed in the most leaning room. It was fun to watch our suitcase roll down the floor. 😂. The person who checked us in was super helpful in telling us where to find a parking garage and places to go visit and eat. The room was nice, the shower was a little awkward. Otherwise it was comfy and clean. Convenient for walking to everything we wanted to see and do.

The shower had its shower head in the middle of the tub and was hard to use. Pillows were awful...I suggest asking for extra.

Super friendly staff, beautiful place, homey and cozy, historic, close to everything, got a very nice recommendation for a number of places around, the gentleman at the reception took his time to talk me through everything I might be interested in and was curious to listen as well for what I wanted to know about. Very good service, highly recommend and would certainly come back.

Tourists love to photograph Ulm's 'Crooked House' so it was a special pleasure to be able to stay overnight in this unique small hotel. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast just right. Our hosts even provided an early breakfast when we had to catch an early train. The hotel is in an excellent location only 10 minutes from Ulm's main station and in the heart of the highly characterful fishing district, and right behind the ramparts overlooking the Danube. It doesn't have its own restaurant but there are several very good ones nearby, and more up in the city centre.

The rooms were neat and unique, the staff was wonderful, breakfast was good, and the location was convenient for walking to the sites in the old city.

It’s probably fairly normal for hotels in the old part of the city, but driving to the hotel and finding parking were very difficult. We ended up just parking in a public parking garage a few blocks away and that worked ok but took a lot of extra time.

Very friendly staff. Location is quite simply the best hotel location in Ulm, bar none!

The architectural and fittings conversion to an up-to-date international level hotel can sometimes be a little jarring, inappropriate and even a tiny bit soulless.

I almost don't want to say how much I love this magical hotel because I don't want to have to book a room a year before I come next time. I want to keep it a secret. But to be honest, this is one of the most amazing place I have staid at. It,s like being in a a fairytale. The hotel is amazing and the staff is the best!

It's a very unique place with lots of charme. The breakfast place on the old boat landing watching the fish go by is brilliant! Location is prime.

It can get a bit hot and stuffy (as expected though by a building of that age and it didn't bother us). Also only stairs (as expected but maybe not suitable for everyone).
