The rooms were lovely very fresh, comfortable and warm with plenty of space for suitcases and clothes. The bathroom was nicely decorated and a good supply of towels supplied. The owner checked us in and was fantastic. It was obvious he cared about his customers. He hasn’t owned it long and advised us they are renovating it all.

Ours was ok but one of our son room’s (corner room) had what he thinks was a fly screen banging loudly all night which kept him awake.

Quiet location, with solid walls between rooms. Adequate, I mean it's a motel, after all, with a larger than usual pool. It's a minute's walk from a lovely beach, and 15 min easy beach side path to the village. Bicheno is a lovely, wee place, central to everything you want to see on the East Coast of beautiful Tasmania. Perfect for bush walking, long beach strolls, exploring the rocks, visiting the penguins, indulging in a tasting at Waubs Whisky Distillery, and definitely visiting at least one winery. We loved Devil's Corner, a 20 min drive away, with its great seafood and million dollar view across to the Freycinet Peninsular. Tasmania is still Australia's best kept secret.

Not set up for self-catering. Bare minimum amenities supplied. Byo cutlery and crockery and keep your food supplies minimum, the fridge is miniscule.

Room, bathroom, storage and kitchenette all good layouts, clean and tidy, bed comfortable and super clean, parking convenient to door. Bit unnerving to only speak with operator via intercom and I think we had the complex to ourselves. (It is winter in Tassie) I love this little place for its convenience and quietness. Was an issue with being unable to operate heater but fortunately it wasn't cold enough to warrant bothering operator.

Great staff, great location, exactly what we expected for what we paid. Beds super comfortable, heating great, and the shower was great.

Cleanliness was great in the kitchen, and the towels and beding were clean. With two young kids, a lot of things end up under beds. There was a lot of dust under the beds on the floor boards.

Great location, easy to find. spacious room that had everything i needed. nice touches in the room which made it feel homely and welcoming. friendly staff and easy check in/out. parking right outside the room.

only thing to mention is that it was a little noisy due to thin walls with the people in the room next door arguing but nothing major.

We chose this property for its proximity to Freycinet National Park as we wanted to explore the area over 2 days. It’s a perfect spot, small but very comfortable motel, our room had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. Bicheno itself is a beautiful little spot and just down the road in walking distance is Redbill beach and it’s gorgeous white soft sand. There are lots of accommodation options in Bicheno but this place was perfect for what we needed and is priced very well too. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

No complaints at all from us

This hotel was in a great location in Bicheno and you could park your car right out the front of your room. There was a pool but it was too cold for me to use when I stayed here. It was a close drive to the town, beach, blow-hole and cafes and the owner/manager told me to watch out for the penguins that made their way into town at dusk. Very cute!

The owners were very welcoming and made us feel at home. They are in the process of renovating the motel and are doing a great job. I highly recommend this establishment. We had an infestation of flying ants one night and it was dealt with efficiently and quickly

Nothing just two things would be nice that I noticed when the place was parking a few struggled to get in and out maybe if the middle garden could be a little smaller for cars to get out of area when reversing out that's all love staying there 😊
