We had two rooms. Juan kind of a living room with a loveseat, coffee table, desk, flat screen TV, refrigerator and microwave. The king size bed was very comfortable. The pillows were wonderful. There was a thermostat in each room so we had complete control of the temperature no matter where we were. The whole inn is surrounded by a lightly wooded area, so you don't really feel like you're in the city. Tammy at the desk was very friendly.
I believe that if two people are staying in a room there should be four towels. This is especially important for me and my man as we both have long hair. We did not have four bath towels. The low flow shower was very low and not all the spray settings had water coming out of them. The sink water control was backwards from normal so it took me awhile to realize I needed to turn the knob to the right to get hot water.. our big truck did not have trouble climbing the steep Hill to get to the end but other people might.

Comfortable home like atmosphere, only 7 or 8 rooms and sits quietly on a hill among the trees. It has a full sized refrigerator, built in cooktop, microwave, toaster, pots and pans, dinnerware, and cutlery. Everything you need accept the food, to spend a day or a month. Very helpful staff, and an easy walk to 101 and the businesses that line it.
Some might be put off by the steep driveway, but my wife and I had no difficulty walking up and down and we are both in our 70’s. It wasn’t a big deal, but the heavy rains drove some small black ants into the kitchen, searching by the toaster and coffee maker. They found nothing to attract them.

We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the lobby and our room! The room was roomy like an apartment with lots of windows in the bedroom and living room overlooking the river through the trees. It was the second story, so we had complete privacy. It felt like a treehouse. We appreciated the kitchenette so we could enjoy our coffee and breakfast in our room. We enjoyed walking just 5 minutes to old town. Last but not least, the owner and staff were very cordial and welcoming. We look forward to a future stay.
Only one thing could be an improvement- our bed (room 10) needs a new mattress. I slept great. However, my husband kept rolling towards the middle. It was a little lumpy.

I walked inside and there was a Sea Otter in the shower that asked me for a towel. I didnt bring any pets and was reticent to speak with this talking mamal, less I be starting my own "talk to Mr. Ed" TV show. There was no mention of a performing sea creature in my Room, and was frankly concerned about bringing my groceries in. We finally made friends and settled in for a spot of tea and a game of checkers.
Oliver the Otter had a bad case of flatulamce and my snoring made it difficult for the neighbors ro sleep Im quite sure.

Very clean! Separate entrances help to minimize the transmission of germs -- definitely helpful during cold and flu season! We liked that we had a living room with a couch facing the television, separate from the bedroom. The view out the window of the living room was nice; secluded woods where no people were outside. We thought it would be so nice if the living room had a door to a small patio or deck area. Next time, we'll get a room with a spa bath! They were not available this time, as we booked on very short notice!
Driveway was pretty steep but doable. Parking appeared to be fairly limited but was enough for our needs. It would be nice if there was a designated smoking area other than under the 2- car port cover (where other people's cars are parked, and it's pretty tight for space.) But we think you're doing pretty good with the limited space you have. And we did like the view from the parking area up on the hill!

My room was clean and nice. The staff was outstanding and my stay was great. I will definitely stay here in the future.
I don't really have anything to complain about other than parking. I have a long bed crew cab truck and the one place i could use without causing others parking issues was taken by a minivan. I ended up parking at the bottom of the hill and walking up on the day of departure. Not deal breaker for me but it would be a major problem if i was a older person who had problems walking up a steep hill.

Friendly staff, clear communication, easy to find, great location, spacious room, very comfy bed and nice pillows. The place was really clean. Liked the small fridge/freezer and the microwave. Parking easy.
It's not that I didn't like it but that the amenities are very bare bones so just be prepared. Small packets of shampoo, no coffee maker or kettle. Had to go to office to get ice. Soundproofing between rooms is minimal -- we heard our neighbors cough, use the bathroom, walk above us. In spite of this we got a good night's sleep and were comfy enough.

The Landmark's rooms are charming (if a bit dated) and very clean and comfortable. Bed was very good and temperature control worked well. The small size of the place is a plus, and the location is very convenient to Highway 101 and the harbor area. Our host was helpful with suggestions for food and necessities.
It's a pretty steep driveway to get to The Landmark, so certain vehicles might have issues. Parking is also a little tight. Being up on a hill, you'd think you'd have better views, and perhaps some of the rooms do. And the pricing is in line with the market all along the Oregon coast, but we felt the rate was high for the level of the motel.

Our room was very good, with a front living room and bay window overlooking the woods and the river in the distance, and a separate bedroom. The small kitchenette was stocked and nice, and the walk-in shower in the bathroom was convenient. I assume the building is old, but our room was updated and comfortable. A short walk to Old Town, which is where everything is happening from shopping to fine dining to music and art.
Literally the only drawback is that the hotel is located on a knob, with a steep driveway as its only access to and from street level. We did not have any problem with it because we are healthy, avid walkers. But I could see some folks would need to use their cars to get on and off the property, rather than navigate the very steep driveway. Just be forewarned.

We stayed one night on our trip along the Oregon coast. I say we were lucky to get a room here! Our GPS made it difficult to find but once we arrived (up a long, very steep driveway!) everything was fine. The staff was kind and helpful. The room was actually a small sitting room with a desk, couch, coffee table and small refrigerator and a large, separate bedroom with a super comfy king size bed! Plenty of room to spread out and a back garden view out the bedroom window.
The property was fine, the only problem we had was finding it and that wasn’t the hotels fault 😂
