The location is great, right on the ocean and the window had beautiful ocean views! Happy that the pool and hot tub were available. They had extra roll away beds and staff was very accommodating even though we forgot to ask for the extra bed until way after check in. Hotel is nice and cozy for couples and families alike and is non assuming. Can't get better than the Pacific ocean right outside your window!

The renovations got in the way of some things but not a big deal. Wish there was a snack machine or some more affordable food options for late at night. Pool could stay open later.

Location overlooking coastline was beautiful. Convenient stop along PCH.

Property is old and rooms feel dated but they are remodeling the lobby now. Didn’t like that there was a gap in our room door and when closed you could see right out into the hallway.

The veggie omelet and grapefruit juice I had were awesome, high priced, but could not have been more delicious. 804 trail a highlight.

The staff people there were very good, but there were too few of them. There was such a long line to check in that I left for 40 minutes. When I checked in, I saw that this one person was checking everyone in plus handling all calls from inside and outside the resort. She did well, but help needed. The waitress at breakfast was similarly alone, and I saw her handling ten tables of diners with no help, also getting drinks and water and bussing tables herself. She did an awesome job, but was busy every second and could have used help. My room had no coffeemaker, and it was three calls and five hours before I got one (assuming same problem, lack of adequate staff)

Resort offered suites to fit several families in one suite. Two bathrooms were more than adequate for all. Random large empty planters were odd inside suite, but ended up using them for extra couch pillows when sleeping on couches. Grand table seated all family members! Amazing beach!

Dishwasher was broken. Central air/hvac needed servicing and took some time to cool the rooms down, and we were luckily it wasn’t hotter outside. Tv in living room remote control didn’t work or TV needed replacing as volume adjustment and channel control didn’t work even after calling maintenance, they still couldn’t get it working. Would have been nice to be able to use the fire pits for the smores we brought as our kids remember that experience from a neighboring resort when we visited the Oregon coast prior.

The staff was super friendly. The room I booked through booking said our room would have a fireplace. The room we got didn't have the fireplace but the view was amazing and the staff offered to move us or give a price adjustment. We ordered breakfast one day and dinner another. Food really tasted good and the portion sizes were huge that we had enough for lunch one day also. When we ordered breakfast there was an item that was no longer available so we adjusted the order, but the staff when above and beyond and even offered me a coffee for the inconvenience. Views are amazing and the indoor pool and hot tub were relaxing after being in the cold. We will for sure be back!

Spur of the moment drive to coast from. Central Oregon. Happened to pop up on my look. Had a king bed and jetted tub for an end of season affordable rate. Hubby and I booked immediately. Front desk answered all our questions. Happy hour was in full swing so we left our gear locked in the truck and stepped into the lounge for a quick cocktail and snack. Bartender was full of p&v which kept me laughing. Room was clean and ready to go. Po room is fantastic. Ran to dollar general for the things we didn't bring. Got back and set out to the restaurant for a nice dinner. Lounge and restaurant are covered in windows with a view of the pacific ocean. Food was quick and yummy. Comfort level was a 10 out of 10.

We have been visiting this property for many years, originally when there was only a restaurant. It is a spectacular location and we always have enjoyed eating in the restaurant right on the waterfront. This year, it was off season when we stopped, we noticed that the place had been updated since we were last there. They did a nice job, the rooms are fresh and nicely put together. We enjoyed our meal as usual, the wait staff was very friendly as was the woman at the front desk. The off season rates were very reasonable.

The staff were very attentive to requests. They were friendly and helpful. The location was terrific with great views of the ocean during the King Tides. The room was very large, clean, and set up nicely with amenities. The facility overall was quiet and perfect for unwinding. The fireplace and whirlpool tub were perfect. We ate dinner at the resort as well and truly enjoyed a fabulous meal. A great stay and we'll book there again.

It appeared that there may not have been adequate staff at the restaurant, so service was a bit slow.

Vera, from the front desk, was super helpful from start to finish. We were gathering as extended family for a memorial, having reserved three rooms with varying needs. Vera was flexible and friendly in dealing with all of us. I super appreciated her. 💓 I also liked the new carpet and furnishings in the family suites 190 and 290.

The indoor swimming room could use better ventilation, as it was quite hot and steamy. Room 290 is missing screens on one living room and one bedroom window. Also in Room 290, there is a big glob of black caulking surrounding the shower head, and I have to think this could be re-done or tidied up. It mars all the other fix-ups recently done to improve the property.
