Room was clean and quiet- facilities such as pool appeared maintained-breakfast was great it's always good to start the day after eating and not searching for a breakfast location- breakfast had all the choices such as eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffle iron ,2 waffle irons , cereal, coffee , juice, oatmeal, yogurt, bagels, muffins, English muffins, milk, tea, cider, hot chocolate, fresh fruit (apples oranges bananas )and all the condiments. AC worked great -that was a hotel criteria for us.

No trays for taking food to your room to eat, I like to eat in quiet and calm. I did use the microwave glass tray but I don't like to do that and chance breaking it.

Staff was excellent! All were very personable, polite, and professional! And very helpful! Above and Beyond! Breakfast was significantly better than expected! Great location for a staging point for participating in SOLV sponsored ONA Beach cleanup on Saturday. Liked it so much we decided to stay another night.

Bathroom could use some small repairs: tub had damage to the fiberglass shell; seat had cracks / abrasions so should be replaced; toilet kept running all night (reported), so plunger assembly needs adjusted / replaced. Sink had pin-hole leak directed towards front of sink (reported). When room was serviced, they didn't make the beds. Air circulation / ventilation in pool and exercise areas was extremely insufficient as the very thick odor of chlorine was very uncomfortable and made being in these areas impractical for exercise.

I enjoyed the cleanliness, bedding, amenities, location, and staff. Breakfast had a good variety of foods and drinks. Sorry I didn't get to try the heated pool, or Jacuzzi. The carts were a great asset to have when loading up.

However minor, I did notice the smell of bleach in the hall and an odor when I opened the door to my room, but it was VERY clean. Also, my wife didn't care to see men shirtless and dripping water in the lobby, and down the hall, she was afraid we would slip. I believe the biggest inconvenience was the parking, many vehicles where straddling the line, probably bc the stalls where stripped to narrow. I mentioned to one of the staff the the QR codes for tipping would not activate, not sure if it was just me. Please look into it so they are not loosing out on their tips, the place looks very neat, they deserve it.

We loved it. Good vibe from the moment we walked in. The front desk person was super nice and he was very helpful. There was an ice machine right by our room which we loved. The room was clean and they did an amazing Job in prepping the room for us. Housekeeping was on point and they were super nice and helpful. The breakfast was good, best I've had in a hotel. It was overall a great stay we enjoyed the pool as well. If you don't mind not having a view of the bay or beach you should stay here it is close to everything. right next to the aquarium and Rogue.

Nothing we didn't like.

While twenty years old, the property has been regularly updated and appears almost brand new, with comfortable, clean and attractive rooms and a pleasant, ample entry and front-desk area. The beds and linens were excellent, the room was quiet, and the hot breakfast was varied and well prepared and presented.

The front desk attendant on afternoon check-in was not especially friendly or accommodating, although a different gentleman at the front desk in the morning was pleasant and helpful. The location is a bit far from the center of Newport and lacks a picturesque setting in this Oregon-coast town. The rooms, however well furnished, lack a safe for valuables.

I was quite pleased to find a full scrambled eggs and breakfast meat breakfast. This is all I needed to feel like I well taken care of and did not need to acquire breakfast from elsewhere. My room was great and facing the front of the hotel. I considered myself very taken care of.

You could have given me the room for free!! I am just kidding but Booking.com wants us to have a whole paragraph to define something that didn't happen to us. I am going to type just a bit more to make them happy. Okay Done

Front desk person gave me a room upgrade, when he was unable to give me a veteran's discount. That was because I used Booking.com to make my reservation, and I could not figure out how to ask for a veteran's discount with the app.

The sofa in our room was not very luxurious or comfortable. Needed a desk to work at, separate from our tiny table to eat at. Could hardly fit one person in the Jacuzzi tub, much less two.

Breakfast was very nice a such a help when you have so many things to do. So convenient to get up and happy ve breakfast before you head out to start the day. Very nice selection to choose from. The location is so very convenient. Close to ocean access, very close to the Newport aquarium, the wax museum, Ripley’s Believe It or Not, and so many other attractions.

The bed in our room was not very comfortable. Maybe just because we are in our sixties, could use a foam pad.

We loved having a pool open longer for adults. The location is great, just off Hwy 101, but the traffic was inaudible. Very close to the bayfront for shopping and great restaurants.

The entrance was a little tricky to get to since they were paving 101, but not much of an inconvenience. They even put in a new traffic light to make things easier though.

The location was perfect. Less than 5 minutes to the Oregon Aquarium! The staff was so friendly. Breakfast was impressive for a hotel. Pool and hot tub were clean and such a big hit with my grandsons! Across the street is a great restaurant and chocolate/gift shop! So nice to have it all so walkable!

Only thing I didn’t like is that there are not enough towel racks or hangers in the shower/toilet area. For 4 people there were only 2 hooks and there is plenty of room on the walls for more. I personally don’t like to hang things over the shower curtain rod so it was kind of a pain not to have more hooks. But it certainly didn’t ruin our little trip!
