Beds memory mattress still has the memory of the last thousand guests that have slept on it. For the last 10 years. Two large groves on each side of the mattress. Sorry this was supposed to be for the things I liked.

Above statement..... The afternoon complimentary cookies, were extremely small and very little flavor. The hotel must have changed cookie brands. Spunkmiers were extremely better. Also the cookies were extremely over baked almost burnt. Only one waffle maker, they had two ?. But that was about 5 years ago. When they have a full hotel, only one Waffle 🧇 maker slows down breakfast a lot. The one they have is taking longer than normal to make the waffles, and then their not cooked all the way through. Getting another waffle 🧇 maker can't be that expensive ?.

Comfortable beds Helpful, pleasant staff. Great location. Nice ambiance in room. Liked framed pictures of Newport on the walls. Handicapped accessible. Grab bars in several locations in bathroom . Shower seat,and raised toilet seat. Disability parking. Continental breakfast

No shower curtain . Got water on bathroom floor. Couldn't figure out how to use coffee pot without staff help... It plugs into the big lamp on the table.. Who knew? I sure didn't.

The location was excellent. We chose the hotel for its proximity to a rental house we had booked. The bathroom and sleeping area were both nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I don't like carpet in bedrooms because of my allergies. I'm always disappointed in hotel breakfasts. Would like to see fresher bread and bagels. Also, bananas and peanut butter are my go-to breakfast, but these were not available.

We walked into the lobby to the smell of baking cookies and they were yummy! There was tea, coffee & lemon water 24 hours a day. The front desk staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. The room was spotless, the beds fluffy & comfortable. Nice bathroom and we had an ocean view! We were leaving early before the free breakfast hours, at our request they opened the breakfast room for us! I will definitely come stay again when we are in Newport!!

Good complimentary breakfast with a waffle station. Free cookies, coffee, tea and lemon water available at the lobby. Staff was friendly and helpful with questions about restaurants. Within a short walk to the beach. And a 12 minute walk to Nye Beach shops and restaurants.

Fitness center was closed for remodel, but we weren't planning on using it. And besides that, nothing, everything was wonderful on my stay.

We didn’t partake in the breakfast options. We met with family and ate with them. I LOVED that the coffee was brewed and ready way before 6:00 am. Us folks from the east are usually up a few hours earlier than the locals.

We didn’t enjoy hearing the neighbors through the walls and the loudness of the running water in the tub upstairs.

The breakfast was ok. The sausages were a bit gross - would be much nicer if they had been browned - they looked like they had been boiled.

The set up of the breakfast was weird. There was no real flow. You had to walk all around to get all the parts to make one dish. For example, the butter for the break, bagels , etc was across the room.

Hotel was very clean, parking was easy, location was good. Staff was very nice and helpful. Bed comfortable.

The only thing we weren't crazy about was the sink was not in a separate room, so when I was trying to get ready before my husband got up, the light had to be on which woke him up. I prefer a sink inside a closed-door bathroom.

When we checked in, we were greeted by Chris who was very friendly and even offered us fresh baked cookies while we waited... during the stay he was helpful in many ways. Rooms were large and clean, beds very comfortable, easy parking and large spaces (less door dings) ocean was across the street. Close to Nye beach community, a few blocks to Hwy 101 Coast Hwy so it was easy and quick to get to the restaurants and Historic Downtown Newport. Breakfast selection was very good and tasty hot and ready for everybody at 6:30 AM so you can get your day started early. We will definitely stay here again. Good Job Comfort Inn Newport. (PS: Be sure to visit LOCAL SCOOP ice cream shop on Hwy 101, Tillamook and Umpqua ice cream served with a very large selection, they even have Black Licorice ice cream)

Room was nice and clean. Really short walk to the beach. The gentleman who does maintenance there was really quick to replace our AC in the room as it was broken. 10/10 he deserves some recognition for his diligent work. Breakfast was good too. Front desk staff was very friendly & kind aswell.
