We had a room right on the bottom floor facing the beach so the view was beautiful! Our room was small but adequate. The bed was comfortable.

At night you could hear people outside in the hallway next to our room and it was really loud and they couldn’t get into their room for some reason. I could hear everything they said. It’s not very well insulated as it’s an older building and light was coming through the sides of the door.

What a great location for the kids especially- so easy to walk out to the beach and enjoy running along the waves, building sand castles and more. So close to the dunes where we loved taking a dune buggy tour! Also so close to cape perpetual! Gorgeous! My husband and kids loved the pool and hot tub too! Bonfire was nice one night! The market with the food was easy to find, and lady who worked there was super busy but very kind! Oh and it was fabulous having a kitchen to cook in while we were there! Excellent and was nice to save a little $ by cooking meals!

The breakfast at the market was convenient but a bit pricey and not the tastiest …. Besides the bacon was fabulous!! The facilities felt a little dirty/ rusty… pool, bathrooms, hallways… but I know it’s by the ocean and hard to upkeep.

We took our grandkids to the Oregon Coast in February. Knowing it will rain some, if not most of the time, the inside pool was such a hit with the kids. Made our time at the beach a perfect blend of time on the beach and time in the pool. Grandma enjoyed the fact that she could order online from the local deli and pick up breakfast, lunch, or dinner by walking to the deli just two minutes away on the property. Genius!

Loved having a kitchen, but with the four of us we went through the available plates, bowls, etc. provided. Might want to bring paper products and have less of a hassle with clean up or using the dishwasher multiple times.

Our 4th floor view was marvelous. A short walk across the beach to the water. The bed was nice and soft. The pillows and towels were great. We loved the larger dispensers for soap etc instead of the small single use plastic bottles. Friendly staff - good wifi.

The single queen room was VERY small. The room and bathroom appeared clean, but the carpet had been around awhile so it is hard to tell how clean it was. Some areas like the elevator area and walkways need an update/upgrade. Just a note that the motel is about a 5 minute drive outside of Florence. Not a problem for us.

We loved the ocean view and the private balcony. Beach access was great. The kitchen was very nice. Appreciated the store and little restaurant on the premises.

The couch was very uncomfortable. The TV should be on a movable bracket on the wall so one could turn it towards the couch when sitting there. The shower needs a grab bar inside, it was a little slippery and nothing to grab hold of.

Room had a loveseat and queen bed and huge table and kitchenette. It could easily have had two queens or at least a pullout couch and queen. There were no Roll seats available ( I asked a week in advance and day of) and was traveling with my son so it was not the best to not have two beds and seemed like such a waste of space to have huge table and room and couch and not a 2 nd bed.

The room was clean, beds were comfortable, and big bottles of shampoo and conditioner were a plus. Nice towels for pool and shower were also a plus. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A close walk to the beach and view of the beach was peaceful.

Was super excited to sit in the hot tub the night we stayed but power went out to hot tub/pool area and had to be fixed. We had to wait until the next day to use the facilities but they gave us an extra hour so we could enjoy these without being rushed.

The room was very nice with a full kitchen and a nice king bed that was very comfortable. The best part of the room was the view from the balcony, and hearing the ocean and the frogs. Very enjoyable stay.

The access to the beach from the hotel was a little hard to get over at the very bottom because it was just logs placed over the marsh and they are loose and a little slippery.

Room comfortable and well equipped. Nice walkable beach. Very good food at Bistro. Effective fire alarm.

Fire alarm went off around 1130pm and 2am. The were very effective at scaring us out of a sound sleep. No A/C. And we were on first floor so we could not open our door for sleeping.

We booked this hotel for the pool area and it did not disappoint! The splash pad area, separate smaller pool that only gets to 1.5ft for littles, the big pool and a huge hot tub were all perfect! We also didn’t know until we got there that there was an inside play area with a slide and such so that was an added bonus. The view and the sound of the ocean was amazing and at night we could even hear frogs.

The play area for the kids could have been a little cleaner. Our tv in our room cut out every few minutes and we would have to restart the tv.
