We only stayed at the hotel for a quick overnight and it worked well for our needs. The staff was really helpful in helping us to park our truck and camping trailer, the room was really clean, and the hotel was walkable to the old town area where we decided to have dinner. The only service we used was having breakfast in the morning and it was really good. The made to order omelettes were delicious as were the waffles. Coffee was good and the morning breakfast crew were outstanding and so friendly!

The room was a bit small. Not a huge deal for us since we were just staying the night, but for two adults + two teens + dog and bags, it was a bit tight. Also, we were on the lower level, so the bushes blocked any view of the river. Again, not a big deal for us, but might be something to consider for other guests.

The ladies, Melissa and Jennifer, at check-in were so wonderful! They made me feel so welcome. They were kind and accommodating. The two lovely ladies at breakfast (I missed their names) helped me both Saturday morning and Sunday morning. They were so eager to make sure I started my day well, even after a tiny blip that happened. The cleaning staff were great and helped me make the best at check out when I returned my scuba certification.

I did not like there was no elevator to to pool and spa area. There is an unusual hill coming into one of the driveways, it's steep and awkward.

My two grandchildren and I stayed in a "pet room" with my granddog Golden Retriever. It was the cleanest pet room I have ever stayed in! Spotless. No pet odors. The kids loved the pool. I was so pleased with the cleanliness of the entire property. Breakfast was outstanding, including an omelet station. A very minor issue was that the patio furniture on the room balcony was dirty, but keep in mind it was March on the Oregon coast. Nice view of the river and downtown Florence. Convenient location to both downtown and the dunes recreation area.

I very much enjoyed our room and it's location. The view was spectacular. The staff was prompt when we had an issue with our TV.

I wish you were more accepting of pets. It amazes me when I am paying extra money for my dog to stay and there are so many rules and places she was not allowed. It seemed pets were not welcomed to be with you we had to eat breakfast in the dark but leaving our dog in the room alone was also not permitted seems to me you should make a pet friendly section in the dinning are or make a balcony for us to go out side to eat to go beyond my expectations.

The room was spacious and clean with nice touches and amenities - a range of toiletries provided, fridge & micro, and a lovely balcony with a waterfront view. Breakfast offerings were solid (we liked the omelettes). They were not only pet-friendly/accommodating, but pet welcoming - upon arriving they gave us a list of dog-friendly places and activities to do nearby. :)

Breakfast was excellent. The staff, everywhere, were pleasant and helpful.

We had a hitch with our shower which resulted in switching rooms. The second room was a little nosier due to the heating unit. I doubt this would affect too many people as I am a very light sleeper. I find no fault with the motel. I gave the "noise" a high rating because the first room was very quiet.

Love that they have a nutritious breakfast, although they need to add bacon. It’s not nutritious, just good. Their scrambled eggs were done very well. And they had yogurt. The room was sufficient for our needs.

We wanted a good sized hotel, not a “motel 6” style. So when we also noticed there were 2 places at this address, one being a Seafood and Grill Restaurant, a real game changer, we made reservations. When we arrived there, we found out much to her dismay, that there was NO restaurant. Such a horrible, horrible disappointment. Found out we had to get back in the car and drive back into town and find a parking spot, not the easiest thing to do. Then when we got back to the hotel, we again had to find a parking spot. Very crowded conditions. Not happy at all. When we head back to Florence again, we will definitely get another place.

The room was clean and comfortable. It was great having a screened in balcony for fresh air while we slept. We used the pool and hot tub area which were lovely after a long day of driving. The breakfast was delicious- lots of options, even some gluten free. Every person who we encountered was super helpful and friendly. Excellent service!

The pool towels were worn out and scratchy. Replacing those would be helpful. The view from our room/balcony was beautiful trees and shrubs, but totally overgrown so we couldn't see the view of the water at all from the lower floor room.

Hotel beautifully located at the river with great view from cantine's windows. Clean rooms - with everything needed for one night stay. Breakfast with richer selection of food than expected - waffles and omlettes. Swimming pool not very big but enough to enjoy a bit of swimming.

- lack of laundry service was dissapointing in comparison to other Best Western hotels we have been to

The breakfast and pool area were a hit for our family. The staff was always friendly and kind.

It was a little disappointing that there was no maid service when we were there. I learned that they only come once every three days. We ended up with a piles of garbage and towels by the end of our stay.
