The room was very clean, had a kitchenette and a comfortable bed. The room amenities were top quality. No plastic or styrofoam, instead glass coffee cups and cups. What I enjoyed the most was walking out of my room to a beautiful close up view of the ocean! I had a non view room, however, I did not feel I was lacking because I was so close to the ocean. I want to also add the staff was welcoming and accommodating.

The TV was lacking stations, but I wasn’t there to watch the tv. They do have a full complement of DVD’s in the lobby that were free to check out. I was also told they are changing to smart tv’s and streaming next month.

I really liked that our room faced the ocean, had a deck, and we could have our dogs with us. The staff went out if their way to ensure that our stay was lovely and relaxing. We were even allowed to extend an extra night! We will be back :)

I can’t think of anything. Everyone was so helpful, the grounds were well kept, the rooms were clean and well planned for dogs.

The set up and spaciousness of the room was wonderful. The weather was terrible but the room provided us with an impeccable view to watch the storm. It's close to great hiking and views near and around Cape Perpetua. It's right on the old mail routed, the 804, which led us near town and to a lovely beach.

The location on the central oregon coast is wonderful! You are close to Walport, Newport and not too far from Florence Oregon. The Fireside is located oceanside with a beautiful view of the 804 trail and the ocean. It is dog friendly for an extra low fee and has a deck outside the back door to watch the beautiful sunsets!

I would have liked a flip lock for more security on the inside of the door.

We were on the ground floor in a pet-friendly suite. Our only issue was that the tenant above us was restless at night and decided to watch a movie at 3 AM. Sadly, the volume was loud, and we could not sleep during this time. Obviously, this is just our situation, but it was inconsiderate of the person.

I love the location of Fireside which backed up to the 804 walking trail. They offered a walking tour that evening, along with s'mores fireside! The facilities were clean and quiet. The location to the ocean was a great spot to take an early morning walk while the tide was out and see 'lots' of sea life. So awesome!

Nothing that I can recall. They far exceeded all my needs.

The location was perfect ! The sunset was spectacular. The paths were magical and the beach walk was amazing.

The grass near the dog area needed to be mowed. There seemed to be bad dog owners that chose not to clean up after their dogs, so there was dog waste hidden in the tall grass.

The room itself was large and beautiful, but all that was eclipsed by the view outside the window and the sound of the ocean to lull me to sleep at night. Might be my favorite hotel room ever, and the town of Yachats was charming

I would have appreciated one of the pillows at least to be softer. Not everyone likes extra firm pillows

Though a pet-friendly motel, with a barking dog outside, the room was well constructed so that outside noises were kept outside. The ocean view from the deck was gorgeous. Nice selection on cable tv, well stocked towels and toiletries and comfortable bed. All around 5 stars and 2 thumbs up. Easy walk to Adobe Resort for a delicious dinner. Definitely plan to stay again.

Would have been cheaper to make the reservation directly through the motel, instead of Booking.com (missed out on 10% AARP/AAA discount).

Very roomy rooms. Well appointed and had everything we needed. Lovely view of the ocean. Right on the 804 trail so you can easily walk to Yachats or north to an amazing beach. Dog friendly, although we didn’t have one.

The sofa sleeper is stiff for sitting very long.
