The location is great, right on the ocean and the window had beautiful ocean views! Happy that the pool and hot tub were available. They had extra roll away beds and staff was very accommodating even though we forgot to ask for the extra bed until way after check in. Hotel is nice and cozy for couples and families alike and is non assuming. Can't get better than the Pacific ocean right outside your window!

The renovations got in the way of some things but not a big deal. Wish there was a snack machine or some more affordable food options for late at night. Pool could stay open later.

Location overlooking coastline was beautiful. Convenient stop along PCH.

Property is old and rooms feel dated but they are remodeling the lobby now. Didn’t like that there was a gap in our room door and when closed you could see right out into the hallway.

The veggie omelet and grapefruit juice I had were awesome, high priced, but could not have been more delicious. 804 trail a highlight.

The staff people there were very good, but there were too few of them. There was such a long line to check in that I left for 40 minutes. When I checked in, I saw that this one person was checking everyone in plus handling all calls from inside and outside the resort. She did well, but help needed. The waitress at breakfast was similarly alone, and I saw her handling ten tables of diners with no help, also getting drinks and water and bussing tables herself. She did an awesome job, but was busy every second and could have used help. My room had no coffeemaker, and it was three calls and five hours before I got one (assuming same problem, lack of adequate staff)

The rooms were clean and the beds, pillows were comfortable. They provided plenty of towels and the shower worked well. Rooms were pretty utilitarian but fine.

For the price, this hotel really needs some updating. The carpets did not feel clean and the windows were foggy, scratched and did not afford much of a view. The smells coming from another room (cooking) were awful and permeated the hallyway. I was very unimpressed with this hotel.

Resort offered suites to fit several families in one suite. Two bathrooms were more than adequate for all. Random large empty planters were odd inside suite, but ended up using them for extra couch pillows when sleeping on couches. Grand table seated all family members! Amazing beach!

Dishwasher was broken. Central air/hvac needed servicing and took some time to cool the rooms down, and we were luckily it wasn’t hotter outside. Tv in living room remote control didn’t work or TV needed replacing as volume adjustment and channel control didn’t work even after calling maintenance, they still couldn’t get it working. Would have been nice to be able to use the fire pits for the smores we brought as our kids remember that experience from a neighboring resort when we visited the Oregon coast prior.

The staff was super friendly. The room I booked through booking said our room would have a fireplace. The room we got didn't have the fireplace but the view was amazing and the staff offered to move us or give a price adjustment. We ordered breakfast one day and dinner another. Food really tasted good and the portion sizes were huge that we had enough for lunch one day also. When we ordered breakfast there was an item that was no longer available so we adjusted the order, but the staff when above and beyond and even offered me a coffee for the inconvenience. Views are amazing and the indoor pool and hot tub were relaxing after being in the cold. We will for sure be back!

Breakfast was not included, but we purchased two excellent menu items. Expensive but good. I loved the pool, but lots of children make for a noisy experience. Great views of the ocean and a wonderful trail right out back . Good service from the front desk made me happy. View of the hillside was very nice, even though the oceanside is preferable.

some things are run down and not really well cared for. The place needs an uplift, but overall is in good condition and is maintained as best as possible

Really rude hotel desk clerks in the evening Met new people in the lobby sitting area. We were all chatting. Told to be quiet and keep it down several time. Just laughing and talking Very rude Would have appreciated better chairs on our deck We knew the hot tub pool area closed at 10:00 but wow. Getting yelled at precisely at 10:00 on the nose to get out out and get out of the area yikes Not a second to spare.

Nice large room with excellent facilities. It had a great view of the coast. I had stayed there before and it was as good and even better with recent renovations

I should note that we did have some issues once or twice with a lack of hot water in the shower. We complained to the desk and we were told that some rooms/suites had jaacuzzis and when they were filled by guests they used a lot of hot water. That was mostly during the day of our four day stay. Just FYI
