The location of the hotel is quite central to Eloundas and an easy walk to all the restaurants, bars and shops. However the owners have cast a little magic over the hotel because its incredibly quite in the hotel during the day and at night! The room was the cleanest hotel room I have ever been in. With a nice little gesture of an evening turn down with water and chocolate. The bed was big and very comfortable. The owners were also really friendly and spoke excellent English a credit to them.

Coming home! If you have mobility issues the lift is very small so be aware of this.

Lovely clean room with a fantastic patio in the centre of Elounda. The small touches especially the chocolate cake and water made it a really enjoyable stay.

If there was a small step up to the patio and a hand rail on the stairs it would have been 100% perfect. Although this may not be an issue with someone more agile.

The property was in such a good location. Perfect jumping off spot for the beach, transport and great food spots. Lovely and modern also!

Shower was a little temperamental.

It's our third time to Elounda and we only just discovered this amazing hotel in the middle of this charming town, hidden in plain sight. With very high end furnishings, a well-laid out bathroom, nice towels, comfy bed and big balcony. They also provided lots of coffee, water and other treats (even a chocolate cake) with twice-a-day maid service. And the beach is only a three minute stroll away...

We were pleasantly surprised with the location (although it did take us a while to find the entrance. For reference, go behind the church, the road that runs parallel with the harbour). We were even further amazed with the decor & cleanliness of the room, which overlooked the harbour. The one downside, the room is ideal for a one or two night stay, but a bit small of you wanted to stay for longer (they may have larger rooms?) All in all, we'd give 99.9%

Great location on harbor and beach. Easy access to ferry to Spinalogkas Delightful area around the harbour filled with shops and tavernas. Room is small but well appointed including a chocolate cake in the refrigerator. Plenty of public parking across the street for our stay in mid October staff generous and kind. Stupid American tourists (us) didn’t know the patio door had to be closed for the air conditioning to work!!! Staff explained this without laughing at our ignorance 🤓🤓😎. Would recommend!

The Kalypso is modern and spotlessly clean. It’s in a great location facing the harbour. The welcome was very friendly and always attentive. Daily room cleaning was faultless.

We were there for 7 nights which were all peaceful apart from Saturday night when the loud music from a harbour club went on until after 2am.

We had an amazing holiday in the Kalypso. Fabulous view over Elounda harbour from our balcony. Lovely modern decor, bed comfortable, shower and air conditioning great. Rooms are exceptionally clean, water and coffee pods supplied daily. The family owners are always happy to help with advice about the area. Nektaria, Pashchalis, Vasso and Davi are very welcoming.

The rooms clean and the balcony is a good size with nice views to the harbour ä. The location is great,and the rooms have screens on the doors so you can keep the door open if you want. Nice little touches in the rooms with decorations, and a lovely little welcome gift

The bathroom doors are beyond annoying 🙈 too narrow saloon type doors that are difficult to get in and out of. On the balcony there is a good size drying rack,but it is right in front of the door where you in an out. There are no rails on the stairs, made the property feel unfinished.
