We had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel in Slovenia. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Despite our late arrival (just before midnight), we were checked in without any issues, which we truly appreciated after a long drive. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the surrounding landscape was absolutely breathtaking — words can’t describe how beautiful it is. The location itself is simply stunning and worth visiting. We were pleasantly surprised and completely charmed by this place. For the price, it was an excellent value — the breakfast buffet was generous and varied, with plenty of options for everyone. Everything was fresh, and more than enough. Overall, just a fantastic stay. Highly recommended!

We like the hotel and stay there from time to time. It is right next to the slopes and has a nice view on the town Centre.It is slightly cheaper than the other surrounding hotels. The staff is friendly and helpful.

In my opinion the hotel is more for younger population, the floors in the rooms are in tiles and you cannot go barefoot,specially in wintertime (at least older population). Cleaning lady comes on request and breakfast is from 7.30-9.00 o’clock which is a way too early for my taste. The elevator was not working twice during our stay. No mini bar in the rooms,and no cattle to make a warm drink. Does it cost all that much? If guests are few,close the hotel and direct guests in other working facility (many hotels were closed during our stay).

Recently refurbished rooms, great location, fairly large parking. Overall really good base location for the north western part of Slovenia.

Poor selection at the breakfast - 1 type of cheese, 2-3 types of cold cuts, 2 types of bread rolls or 2 types of bread, depending on the day. Hot options were a little better, everyday there were sausages and scrambled eggs, on some days quite nice apple or red currant pie. No information about most of the items was provided in front of the dish. On the bed frame there is not a single mattress but two smaller ones put together.

The location is great - right next to the ski slope. There is a parking lot in front of the hotel. The staff are very nice, and the rooms are clean. The breakfast was very good, tasty, and had a lot of options to choose from.

The breakfast coffee was very bad. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable. Our twin bed was in fact two single beds pushed together. One mattress was very hard (and I like hard mattresses, but this one was just too much), while the other one was extremely soft and obviously old and used a lot.

View, hotel facalities, comfortable rooms, great location

On one evening, I was disturbed by loud shouting outside the hotel that continued for several hours. Despite the noise, there was no intervention from the hotel staff to address the disturbance, making it impossible to sleep. Additionally, on another night, the fire alarm went off without any immediate response from the hotel staff to inform guests about the situation or provide instructions on what to do. The alarm was eventually turned off without any explanation or guidance, leaving guests in a state of uncertainty. Finally, during my last breakfast, the noise and disruption from renovations in a nearby room made it difficult to enjoy the meal.

We enjoyed our stay at the Alpina, the breakfast was buffet style and there was a large choice of hot and cold items, all usual fare. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Location was great, just a very short walk to the side of the slope by the Kekec lift. We had a room for 4 and it was spacious, as was the bathroom, very clean. We ate dinner at the hotel one night, again it was a buffet and very good with a variety of dishes that were liked by all of us.

The pillows could be improved as they were rather old and uncomfortable.

Everyone was nice, breakfast was great with many options, and the room was comfortable. The nearest slope is right next to the hotel, the ski lift is almost going over the parking lot. There are restaurants within walking distance. I would probably take the same hotel if I go back to Kranjska Gora.

There is not much noise insulation between the rooms - we had nice neighbors, but still heard them. The ski storage area was a bit small. All the food at breakfast was really good, except that I picked a hardboiled egg, that was borderline fresh.

The room was spacious and clean, with a nice view of the mountains. The amenities were as expected from such category of the hotel. Breakfast was a bit above average.

The only thing I did not like was the note on the door when you exited the breakfast room. "Do not take the food that does not belong to you". Just a note saying it is not allowed to take food outside of the room would be much nicer since, actually, the food does belong to the guests, as they paid for it.

The hotel was lovely with its alpine lodge feel from the outside. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful, and couldn’t do enough for us. The location is prefect for winter activities as it’s right next to the ski lift! The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable, with a modern feel and we enjoyed our stay here with excellent views down over the town. Plenty of parking spaces at the hotel was great too!

There was not a kettle,coffee maker or fridge in the room, which most hotels have as standard. There was a space for a fridge but was not one there. Breakfast was not the best, but it may be better in season when there are more people staying.

This is the 4th or 5th time I've stayed at this hotel. Certainly not the last. Because of this hotel, the kindness of the staff and the nature in the area, I keep coming back. This is definitely the best example of how to keep a guest. Although check-in, like in most of hotels is from 15h, I arrived around 12:30. I only emphasized that I would like to get a room if possible between 14:00 and 14:30 as I have a meeting. Otherwise, if they can provide a place with privacy. After 5 minutes I returned to the reception, the room was ready. Maybe they had extra rooms, maybe it was ready. It doesn't matter. What matters is the approach and the way of communication. The food, a perfect choice as always for both dinner and breakfast.
