It’s a lovely cozy place, staff is super friendly, location is great you can walk everywhere, I recommend the rooms with private bathroom.

I would not recommend the rooms with shared bathroom for longer stays. The floor they’re on is very squeaky and you can hear everything through walls. The bathrooms are next to the kitchenette and reception so it’s awkward. But for a quick night it’s super. Lots of stairs. Not enough plugs. As nice as it is, the price is sometimes unrealistic. Off season in Ljubljana you can get a 4 star hotel for 60-70€, they charge the same for a shared bathroom room. I would pay 40-50 not more for what you get. 60-80 during season. Keep in mind this is more like a Hostel with private rooms, so don’t expect a hotel environment

It's been a long time since I visited a place I’d confidently rate ten out of ten, but Atik Rooms truly deserves it - especially considering the price-to-quality ratio. My room had a private bathroom and a double bed, a small TV, hairdryer, and a little desk with a chair for working. It was located in the attic, but that wasn’t a problem at all - two skylight windows with blinds provided plenty of light, and during hot days, the air conditioning could be turned on for extra comfort. Outside, in the hallway, there were two comfortable armchairs for working, and nearly every hallway corner had a small kitchenette with an electric kettle, sink, plates/mugs, coffee and tea, and fresh apples/milk every morning- really thoughtful and convenient. Atik Rooms is also perfectly located in the heart of Ljubljana - right next to the Dragon Bridge, the market, the river, and the funicular to the castle. The train station is within walking distance, as are all the city’s main attractions. The receptionist was very friendly, and the entire place was clean and full of charm, with beautiful wooden floors and exposed wooden support beams.

The only small drawbacks I could mention are that the double bed was actually two single mattresses pushed together, and that checking in after 8:00 PM requires special arrangements with the property.

Excellent location in the very heart of the city. Most attractions are on a 5-10 minute walking distance, very suitable for tourists and first-time visitors of the city. Polite and responsive reception. Clean and cozy rooms, comfortable beds. Heating works just fine in the cold weather. Although the bathrooms are shared, you don’t really notice this, nobody in them most of the time.

Easy to end up locking yourself out of your room if you forget to always have the key on you when you go to the bathroom or anywhere. Happened to me, luckily the reception personnel responded quickly when I found someone to call them, as my phone was also in my room.

+ Clean & Modern shared bathrooms + Guest Kitchnette (great for a cup of tea, storing something in the fridge, etc.) + Great location (10 min. walk from central station, 1 min away from Dragon Bridge) + Nice support from staff (allowed us to do late check-in and provided clear self check-in instructions with a contact phone available, QR code with suggestions for the city) + Cosy vibe (good lighting, small rooms and space but very cosy and comfortable)

- Only one toilet (for each gender) and one shower on the floor which can lead to some waiting

The hotel has an excellent location - a few minutes walk from the triple bridge and the old town. There is a nice bakery around the corner, and a grocery store just a couple minutes walk away. The room was quiet and cool (air conditioning was a major plus for us). Our room was very nice - white and wood beams and two skylights. The building is quiet and feels very safe. There are shared kitchen facilities on the floor our room was on: a kettle for tea and coffee, some snacks, a mini fridge for people to store a few small groceries. I appreciated the care about waste - there was a compost and recycling bin along with garbage in the shared kitchen area.

The only things that come to mind is that some of the rooms are a number of flights of stairs up, so hauling luggage up might be a challenge. Also our room was quite small. Luckily we are short, but if you’re very tall or big, the slanted ceilings and small space might be an issue for more than one person.

Like someone else had said, the place feels like an elevated hostel, which is not a bad thing. There are common areas like the kitchen, which you have the freedom to use. I booked a room with a private bathroom and it was more than enough. Quite fitting for one person but can be crowded if there are more than one person in the room. As the name suggests, it is an attic style room, so the room will hold pace for just the bed, a place to hold your luggage, and a small bathroom. Overall, was satisfied with my stay and the staff were very helpful and responsive too.

No elevator, and the rooms are located on the 3rd floor. For luggage they have a small elevator much like the ones for food-service, which may be an issue to utilize for guests checking in after the reception closes if no one is there to help you if you’re carrying heavy luggage. It is about a 7-9 minute walk to the city’s center (triple bridge), so not exactly centrally located.

This was an excellent spot for a simple, affordable place to sleep right in the center of Ljubljana. It had thoughtful touches like a communal kitchenette stocked with coffee, tea, fruit, cereal and milk and while the toilets and shower were shared, I never saw anyone else nor had to wait. Check in was very easy to coordinate and our super early check out was simple. Very clean, very quiet, just what we needed!

We were there in the fall and having the windows open made for a very nice sleeping temperature, bur I imagine it would be very hot in the summer.

Super clean and beautifully designed, cosy rooms. Bed linens and towels were in good condition and very clean. Shared bathrooms were spotless. There is a little kitchen area with lots of teas, coffee, fruit etc. Having access to a kettle and microwave was also useful. Good value for money (for the area).

Noise travels a little bit, but from researching lots of other accommodation options in the area around this price point, that seems to be a common feature.

It's in a great location, just 5 minutes from the very centre of the Old Town. The check in was quick and straightforward. It's very easy to get to... it's clean and safe, and has lots of info on what to do during your stay in Ljubljana. It's opposite a lovely little cafe called Emonica, perfect for a brekky. The air con in the room was good and quiet.

Hmmm, I thought the room would have a bit of character, but it didn't. The staff could have been friendlier. When I checked out, the lady at the desk didn't even look at me.

I had a room with private bathroom and it was quite big and beautiful, nicely furnished and clean. There was a little space with a kettle, teas and coffee freely available and also some snacks and milk and cereals for breakfast. The staff was really nice too. The location is perfect to explore the city, even the station is at a walkable distance

I would have appreciated some more place to handle the clothes, but it was ok. Just a warning: there is no elevator, just a small one for luggages
