The venue was really close to where I needed to be. It was easy to find and the host was very accommodating when my flight was delayed and landed later than expected. The rooms were comfy and the entire property was super inviting. Princess the kitty on site was adorable and super friendly (which is always something I love)

The night that I arrived, there was no hot water in my room but that was immediately sorted out the next day.

We really enjoyed staying there and the hospitality was great for the 7 nights. We loved the rooms with the big smart TVs. The swimming pool was nice. We appreciated the free cereals and milk for breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful and the guesthouse is located in a safe and secure neighborhood. Wouldn't mind staying there again.

One room was not cleaned when we arrived, so we informed the staff and it was resolved.

Loved the interior of my bathroom. I felt like a queen. Adele was super friendly too, such an awesome host. Only got to see (Rosi) I think the other owner. He was feeling unwell but still took the time to meet n greet me. That was another huge highlight, speedy recovery too!! Lastly the housekeeping staff extremely polite and friendly..Goblin Mead felt like HOME!!

Perfect location for my needs. Very secure property, which is a high priority for me. Friendly and helpful hosts.

Visitors need to be aware that the facility indicates no smoking indoors. This means that smokers are able to use the swimming pool area, which they did in abundance during my visit. It is impossible to open one's room doors onto the pool oasis area when smokers are sitting at the outdoor chairs and tables, the stink of cigarette smoke wafts into one's room, it is very unpleasant. Also, my second stay applies: my room had obviously had a smoker use it before me - the pillow and mattress smelt of smoke, I could smell that a smoker had been in the room from the minute I walked in. This was not pleasant - a) I did not experience this during my longer first stay b) I was only there for one night for my second stay so elected to not complain nor request a change of rooms.

Goblin's Mead is such a hidden gem. The photos are completely accurate. Our room was clean and comfortable with a large king-size bed, ensuite bathroom (with an amazing shower) and access to the outside. The house managers were so friendly and welcoming. They took the time to show us around and explain what was on offer. While we did not choose the breakfast option, a cereal breakfast was still provided alongside unlimited tea and coffee. We even has a Nespresso machine in our room with complimentary pods.

There is not a lot of parking in front of the house - this was not a huge issue for us as there was only one other guest beside us and they did not have a car. But I could see how it can be an issue if the house is fully booked and everyone has a car.

Breakfast looked good although I Did not have some, In general our stay was magic and very friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay and will defiantly stay there again on our next trip to Cape town.

Every thing was perfect, I just want to apologize, when we got back home to Kleinmond I realized that one of my wifes coats was on one on your hangers, I am sorry about that and will make a plan to get it back to you.

It was clean, spacious, and easy to access. We had a wonderful stay.

That the management kept walking in and out while we as a group booked the entire house out, trying to spent time together and would walk in mid conversation to randomly put on lights, or close a door.

I truely enjoyed the room I booked, I definitely loved enjoying relaxing & having a meal on the front patio with the view on the garden. I loved the beautiful artwork and decor through out the house, very quaint.

I truely wished the coffee maker within the room I booked were working & functional as I was looking forward to start off my stay with a cup of coffee.

The fact that the actually property looked exactly the same as is in pictures. I’ve been to many guest houses I’m always disappointed on arrival to discover that they look nothing like their pictures online.

It was a super cold weekend and the room was freezing. The heater/AC on the wall was on 30 degrees and at some point 31 but was just blowing warm air. The floors were just as cold.
