The level of professionalism, the support during a family crisis, the love and attention we received, the attention to detail, the provision of extra equipment on request like a personal meat grill and lasagne dish - our second time to stay there was amazing, the close proximity to the beach, shops and restaurants, security, underroof parking and hosts with amazing caring personalities

Maybe an aircon but impractical due to the layout but the fan did its job

Messages from staff felt a bit invasive at times and I felt like we were being watched to some extent and reprimanded for “wrong doing” that was not happening. I understand the need to keep everyone safe and I appreciate this effort, but it was a bit much at times.

It’s right across from the beach. The building feels very safe. The unit overlooks the Strand beach. Great ocean views and sunsets. The unit is also quite clean and roomy for the two of us..

since there is no AC, we’ve had to open our windows and it can get quite noisy with the street noise. Also we had some challenges with orienting the curtains so that you could open the windows with minimal exposure to the living or sleeping areas.

Beautiful apartment with stunning beachfront views. The apartment inside is comfortable and stylish decorated and has all the equipment needed, especially the perculator as we love our morning coffee. The apartment also caters for loadshedding😇.

Host communication on mobile is straightforward, but does come through a bit “harsh”, i.e. with the check out message, there is no asking how was your stay, just “check out is 10am, ensure you are are the carpark sharp!” … probably not a big deal to most travellers.

Stunning views and great location close to local shops and restaurants. Lovely apartment with excellent amenities. Roche & JJ were so kind and communicative, helpful whenever we had questions. Very secure property.

Floors were dirty (we are a no shoes household so this was alarming to us but may not bother those who wear shoes in house). Sometimes the amount of security was annoying but definitely made us feel very safe!

Perfectly central location, beautiful sea view, absolutely clean apartment, indoor parking, decor just gorgeous, close to a few great restaurants, wonderful hosts, excellent communication throughout the arrival and check-in process

The passage between the parking and the lifts was a bit smelly - cigarette smoke and smells of cooking. I preferred entering from the beach entrance

Spectacular view. Clean & comfortable bedding. The Ashley on Beach team was very accommodating to our needs. We had a weekend of meetings and they went above and beyond to make sure we were all set to concentrate on our task at hand. Thank you Ashley, Jeandre and Andries.

That we had to go home...

While the building is quite old, the apartment is very nicely renovated and modern. The views are absolutely breathtaking and you can sleep in the main bedroom to the sound of the waves breaking. The kitchen is stocked with nice coffees, teas, and even rusks! It was also nice that indoor parking was offered, really helped that we didn't have to run around with luggage in the rain.

The drainage in the bathroom was a bit slow, and the sliding door was getting stuck. The light from the corridor also leaks past the blinds which can be a bit disruptive if you're a light sleeper.

Everything was absolutely great. We had a wonderful, comfortable stay.

I can't really think of anything. I did however cut my finger really bad and luckily we did have some plasters to stop the bleeding, Ashley did suggest small first aid kits i the apartments?

Location was perfect. No too far from everything - airport, Stellenbosch, etc.

We liked everything. I would have liked something to make you warm in the evenings whilst watching TV, like a heater, but everything else was just perfect.
