Ideally situated with good views. Spacious room very comfortable bed. The staff were lovely and attentive and cannot be faulted

The Lodge could do with a make over. It is meant to be a 4* facility but looks more like 3* Bathroom was dated, shower had cracked tiles and the vanity cupboard smelt musty. Curtains had been badly altered with puckering hemlines. The furniture, carpets, decor, dark wood with black and silver floral wallpaper etc is dated and does not do justice to the property, a lighter coastal pallete would transform this. Aircon unit does not function properly as it does not automatically switch off when reaching the desired temperature. It is a great shame as this is a big let down, perhaps the owner partners can could spending money on an upgrade.

Very comfortable bed and good quality linen - spacious room (No 2) with outside patio and view of 10th hole, with two comfortable lounge chairs in room, ample hanging space, fridge, safe, tea facilities (with a nice little biscuit supplied) etc - excellent breakfast. Wide choice of cereals, fresh fruit, cheeses, cooked breakfast to own choice etc - very friendly staff - walking distance to golf course clubhouse and close to swimming pool etc

Very minor issues but: - outside patio lights were centrally controlled and only switched off at 10. Made the room a bit bright for sleeping before 10, even with curtains closed - no parking in the shade outside the lodge. Car got very hot during the day - bathroom needs a bit of maintenance (I.e shower door sticking, minor damp on walls)

Breakfast was very good, limited selection of cooked food but cold buffet excellent, had lactose free milk available. Laundry done on site and returned same day. Rooms spacious and the air conditioning worked properly. Golf club house and pool free to use, tennis courts to hire.

Rooms are a little dated but absolutely fine.

The breakfast was really great, and the staff was excellent! I and the kids were home away from home. Have told friend and family about the space, and recommended for their next CT visit. Really comfortable.

We had extra overflow bed for the kids - my children compained about the quality of the bed being hard, and felt it when I tested it. It wasm't comofrtable at all. But had to do for the week we were there.

The room space, breakfast, relaxing vibe, and reception was exceptionally pleasant.

The room that was advertised in the description with pictures had a patio on the ground floor with outdoor chairs and a table. It's why I chose to stay at The Lodge Atlantic Beach. Unfortunately, the lodge booked us in an upstairs room with no balcony but it had a window to stick my head out of to catch some wind. Regardless, we made the most of the stay, thank you.

The location, alongside the 10th fairway where tortoise, antelope (springbok red buck and mixed), mongoose and birds galore roam daily. Rooms are comfortable, bathrooms well appointed. Breakfast is simple but varied. Easy access to the clubhouse, golf course and leisure center or just a short drive into old Melkbosstrand to access some good eateries. The staff are great, nothing can't be done or organized.

3rd stay here, our favourite place to stay in SA. Lovely staff, great choice at breakfast. Perfect to sit on private patio and watch the wildlife (and the golfers!). Great on-site facilities including bar and restaurant overlooking Table Mountain!

Bathrooms could do with an update but it doesn’t distract from the overall lovely stay!

One of the most welcoming places I have stayed. On my first day the manager took me to the local town to stock up on food for the fridge in the room. Without exception the team was professional, providing great service.

The only very, very slight drawback is that the hotel did not have a restaurant for dinner: there is an adjacent restaurant.

Nice location with beautiful golf course view, the room is very comfortable with air conditioning, mini fridge, and bath.

Restaurant not open for dinner on Sundays, and not open on Mondays, which is quite inconvenient, especially when we just want to relax on site instead of looking for other restaurant to go out, and need to repeat my purpose at the security gate in and out... Stuff also left earlier than told, i was informed that the bar closes at 11, when i wanted to buy some drinks at 10:40, the entire reception and bar has turned off lights, no one to be found...

Breakfast was great however the breakfast area could use a bit more interior decorating. The table cloths and some of the chairs were not the same , just making it aesthetically un attractive. A bit more love to the breakfast area could do.

Lighting in the bathroom was got great
