Obviously the place is fantastic, location is perfect. Views are amazing. And the host Ryan, is out of this world👌 thanks for being the chery on top of the perfect getaway. I assumed it was his place the way he dealt with the guests on our break. Going out of his way to make us all super happy even going as far to getting people's braais going on late arrival! Legendary 🫡

The owner couldn't do enough for us. The position is fantastic with lovely views of the mountains and a good swimming pool. The decor in the room is good.

The interior of the rooms are a little tired and could do with a coat of paint.

The entertainment area was a huge bonus because of the bad weather. We were able to have a braai and enjoy ourselves. Even though we were a large group, we still had privacy because of how the villas are built. The rooms are very spacious.

Unfortunately because of the rain, the last stretch leading to the accommodation was muddy and it was not an easy drive.

The best location to see the range of mountains especially since it snowed. Very close to all other hotels, restaurants and activities. Very helpful and friendly staff. Accomodation is comfortable.

Bathroom shower needs attention. Black Slate doesn't show mould so needs to be updated. Hot water tap faulty and holes in shower floor.

Ryan was the most superb manager ever. Friendly and absolutely helpful and patient. Loved the quiet solitude and the beauty that surrounds each unit. The pool area is stunning. Far enough away from other guests to feel like you have the entire place to yourself. We went to just take a break away from the business if life and it was the perfect place to have found that peace. My dog was welcomed and had the time of his life running in the lagre grounds.

Nil....if u want a self catering quiet get away to relax this is the place.

Location always brilliant. Host was a blast. Enjoyed all the calmness of the area as well as the people who looked after us. Will definitely be back next year and enjoyed the personal attention to detail. Great shoutout to Ryan. You are the MAN!

The location of the river crossing B&B is excellent. Just up the R600 before the main central Drakensberg hotels. Fenced-in rooms for added security. Pet friendly - dogs cannot get out. Ryan the manager was excellent and pulled out all the stops to ensure we were comfortable.

Small finishings could be improved. The door to our bathroom was a bit wonky, the ceiling has a couple of cracks and the bathroom door did not click closed properly, one of the adapters in the room is broken too. Nothing bad per se, the units could just use a little attention to detail. Overall - great value for money and comfort for a self-catering stay.

Very nice accommodation. Looked newly build and verry well equipped. Beautiful location. Owner very friendly and helpful. Went out of his way to ensure that we could watch the Springbok vs France quarter final.

The only suggestion I have is that they upgrade their DSTV

The views were stunning. The place was clean & neat. Being pet friendly was a bonus. The host was very kind & accommodating. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay & will be back soon. Thank you so much Ryan, God bless!!!

The view and location is exceptional. It was clean and had everything we needed.

No shelter over braai and the Drakensberg has rain or drizzle often. Please look into covering the patio area.
