The guesthouse was a short easy ride to and from the airport. The rooms were big. The location was quiet. Elaine helped me arrange for a driver to visit sites I wanted to see, as I did not have a car.

The place provided me and friends with a beautiful holiday experience. The family room was spacious with a living room and private bathroom. The room was clean, linen smelling fresh and water was nice and hot. The bar fridge and microwave oven were of very important use.

It would be nice to have a proper buffet breakfast.

The breakfast was very good. They had diversity of what to eat including fruits. The staff was very nice and eager to help at the breakfast. They waited for us the day we were a bit late to have breakfast.

It would be good to have someone at the reception at least till noon everyday. It would be good to augment breakfast time for 30 more minutes each day. It would be good for someone outside not to be able to open the door while the guest is inside.

The location is perfect if you are looking for a place close to the airport and close to major roadways connected to other parts of Johannesburg. And the breakfast was as good as all of the other ratings indicated it was!

The only issue is that the lodge is so popular that they cannot offer late check-in but that's really not a negative at all!

President Lodge is about 10 mins by car away from O.R. Tambo and located in a nice and quiet residential zone. The rooms are well equipped and maintained. The host and the staff are friendly and courteous.

The property is super clean. There was enough milk in the room to make at least 5 mugs of coffee (I'm a caffeine addict). Bottle water was provided. There was a large quantity of shower gel (not those tiny bottles you get at hotels). Breakfast was delicious. The owners are very accommodating (allowed me to check in at 9am).

Nothing - the only thing I’d suggest is that if you give a phone number to call rather than being at reception, it needs the international dial code with it

President Lodge can be reached within 10 minutes from O.R. Tambo but has almost no traffic noise. Motorways are within fast reach to go for business, shopping or sightseeing. The team at President Lodge is very helpful and uncomplicated. The rooms are nice, clean and functional. Breakfast is of great quality.

Beautiful studio, very spacious and well equipped. Breakfast had good choice and good coffee! The outside space with pool is nice for relaxing in. Hosts went above and beyond, very friendly staff.

The warm reception by Elaine and her willingness to order for us dinner even when it was late at night. Elaine's lodge is very quiet and so fit for guests who desire to rest, the bed was so comfortable and breakfast very lovely. Elaine allowed us to check out many hours after check-out time being that our host in SA was coming from far to pick us from Johannesburg. She was very kind to allow us stay longer at no extra cost. We are grateful Elaine.
