The rich protein breakfast kept my tummy full and my brain quite active. I slept like a baby in your bed. The room was quiet. I met a few friends at the hotel. I got to know Connie, Petrus, Climent. I highly recommend this hotel. I found a security issue at the back of the property with a door not able to lock properly. Probably a guest that wanted to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air at the pool. The gym was a nice addition and I tried the treadmill while viewing some gholf scenes on the TV. Somehow only single people stay at this hotel, yet some rooms have twin beds. I know I am good but I only need one bed for my thinking brain. Thanks for everything you provided to me.

That I had to say goodbye after a few days. Would have stayed here for a few months if not more.

staff where super friend and most importantly as a single traveler i felt safe. i didnt eat any meals was only there 1 night but might try on my next visit. rooms where comfortable and clean. loved the shampoo bar :)

not anything major but an included shuttle service would be great, however i used the recommended shuttle and he was amazing as well.

We have stayed here several times, and it is always a safe, clean, and comfortable refuge from the city. It is conveniently close to the airport with shuttle Services available. They have a good buffet breakfast, a swimming pool, and an exercise room.

They recently raised their price for breakfast to 130 Rand, which is a little high. Although that does include breakfast, drinks and all you can eat at the buffet. It's just that I can't eat that much that early in the morning.

The reservation desk, rooms, gym etc were all great as usual. I am quite happy to return for another stay.

The breakfast cost is outrageous. I was forced to eat there this time but not again - a minor matter. The diner was pathetic. Absolutely embarrassing. The waitress took more than 30 minutes to serve 1 x beer and 1 x bottle wine. The wine arrived and it was wrong taking another 10 minutes to correct. The meal took much longer. I requested a medium burger patty. It arrived; it was extra super well done with the consistency of a leather sole. Horrible. I would suggest that you employ a proper restaurant manager that has his customers well-being as a priority.

Although the older of the two airport City Lodges, it’s been renovated and across looks newer than the City Lodge O R Tambo. With less foot traffic too, being much smaller, it is less frenetic, more peaceful.

The name. I didn’t know it existed and thought I’d booked into the City Lodge O R Tambo for my early morning flight. Both have airport names which is crazy. It’s actually 5km away with no shuttle, so it cost me 200R to get there (evening) and 100R to get back. The staff at both hotels though were helpful at sorting this, but it was clear this mistake happens quite frequently.

Could do with a mini fridge in room. No elevator to 2nd floor on one side of the building so had to cart up luggage 2 flights of stairs. No view from our room. Looked into a wall. Noise from guests during the night banging their luggage up and down stairs to get to the rooms. Our room was right next to the staircase.

Everything was just what I needed honestly, stuff very friendly and nice environment was not crowded. I needed peace of mind for exactly that.

I had booked out but decided to stay for lunch. Making payment was not an issue there was a particular lady that instead that I make double payments because she apparently couldn't see it on the system. I had to call my banker to verify that for her. Very uncomfortable experience It's as if I was accused of thift.

Breakfast was excellent - wide range of hot and cold food. It was good that the pool area was open (this area was closed in some of the other airport hotels). Although the pool was small, it was clean and the patio furniture was very comfortable and in the shade.

The gym had a treadmill which worked well, a stepper which worked, and a broken bike. The bike does need repairing or replacing - but at least the treadmill provided some exercise.

Dinner was excellent. Staff were friendly. Room was clean.

Airport shuttle is an additional R80 per trip. Gym is only suitable for one person at a time.

The facility is conveniently locked closer to the airport and the hotel staff are helpful in the sense that they provide an alternative solution for transport.

Everything is as advertised on the booking, it is only the limited traveling time that takes away some of would be wonderful facilities and rest time.
