I enjoyed the stay. My room was just perfect even though I struggled on one of the twin beds. I think there was a mix up from the booking because I thought I had booked a room with one queen size bed.

Didn't get enough bottled drinking water in my room. Bottle sizes were just too small, but the hotel was kind enough to give me extras.

Location and spacious surroundings

BREAKFAST - JUST LIKE ANY OTHER BREAKFAST BUFFET, EXCEPT BEING SERVICE. TIME 9.30AM. BACON COLD AND HARD (NOT EVEN A KNIFE COULD CUT IT), TOMATOES COOKED HOURS BEFORE BEING SERVED, HASH BROWNS BEEN LYING IN HOT BOWL FOR DAR TOO LONG. EXTREMELY POOR FOR A 5 STAR HOTEL. TO CROWN IT ALL, BREAKFAST WAS PARR OF PACKAGE AND WAS CHARGED TO MY CREDIT XARD!!!!!

The location of the property

The reception ladies didn’t give all the information and we have to ask for everything even undercover parking & when requesting someone to assist with bags if took more than 30 minutes regardless of us reminding the ladies at the reception. It looked as if we were irritating them.

We wanted a comfortable hotel close to Joburg airport, but not in the airport “complex”. The Mondior hotel was ideal. The friendly greeting at reception upon our arrival made a great first impression. We found all the staff to be very helpful, friendly and engaging. The room was spotless, comfortable and couldn’t be improved.

The room that I had booked had a problem with the safe I approached the front office desk and they immediately moved me to a nicer room at no extra cost, the whole experience and stay was exceptional and thank you to the staff and management.

It was a stop over, we had a great time at the restaurants, bars and casino. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was great. Exactly what we were expecting.

Windows need a bit more noise proofing but the road noise didn’t keep us awake .

Room was very clean and well organized. Staff was friendly and very accommodating.

The lighting in the bathroom. It was very dim all the time with only one little light above the sink. Very difficult to apply makeup. Same thing in the room at the desk. Not enough lighting.

Every year I check in it takes a while to confirm my booking I do not know why made with booking.com and have the booking reference paperwork.

It was perfectly located for the event we attended. Staff was wonderful and extremely helpful, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great too as
