We always enjoy our stay at Garden Court, OR Tambo. The reception staff always go out of their way to welcome us and assist us with an early check-in. The shuttle is a bonus. The breakfast is good. The Irish restaurant is a great vibe and good food. The only thing that I think you can considering is adding on 1 Afrikaans channel on your DSTV package. Perhaps, Kyknet?

No TV channel that caters for the Afrikaans speaking people. Maybe considering adding Kyknet onto your DSTV package. We stayed over for 3 nights. I would expect Housekeeping to clean the stay over rooms first, before they clean the departures, because we left the room every morning at 9 and could only go back just before 2. We had to sit outside or somewhere in the hotel and wait for them to clean our room.

The hotel is under the Southern Sun Group. The location is great (6 mins shuttle traveling distance), with free hotel shuttle bus operated every 15 mins 24 hours, which is handy and convenient. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room is nice with this price near airport and the size is okay. We had a good sleep before taking flight on the other day. The choice of the breakfast buffet is affluent, appreciate with the tasty omelette and hot pancake made to order. There is a outdoor pool outside the dining area, a pity that not able to enjoy it. Overall I recommend this hotel to those who just arrive or about to depart Johannesburg.

Just the facilities are bit old, but everything is functionable and fine for a stay.

We’re happy to hear that you are busy renovating, but it would be best to do the renovations later at night or have extra staff at the reception. I was not pleased with how your staff at reception handled my checkout. I was in a quee and I am asthmatic and she was the only staff member available. I even suggested getting someone to assist, as I could not wait for long due to the workers at the door drilling and the dust being unpleasant for my health. She seemed quite annoyed. Eventually, I had to wait to hand over my key for checkout. Additionally, it would be beneficial to remove the carpets in the hallways near the rooms. Garden Court is my favorite hotel for me and my family. Whenever I travel, I always choose Garden.

It is really convenient if you have a long connection or just need to stay one night to catch your flights. For longer stays I think this is too busy and few options around. The shutlle to the airport is really safe and convenient.

Defenitely this hotel has maitenance problem. This time, our room had an loose outlet so I had to ask them to send us an adpator to be able to charge our phones. Also, we stayed in a room where people of other rooms did not really care of making noise late at night or too early in the morning. The doors are havy and smash so trong and we can clearly hera any conversation taken in the corridors.

I like everything💋 though I want the pillow cases, comforter, bedsheets to smell good. Everytime I go inside a new check in bedroom, I always smell the pillowcases, bedsheet, comforter, blanket, if they are clean. Some pillow cases were not changed and was used. So I used the two pillows for my feet under and above my feet. Please tell hotels to wash properly their bedsheets, pillowcases, blankets, and comforters clean, neat, and it should be properly washed, to avoid bacteria, fungus, and virus

We absolutely loved our stay here. The food was exceptional. The staff are professional are very friendly. The hotel has a great location close to OR TAMBO International airport. The shuttle to and from the airport is a huge bonus.

We went for breakfast at around 9am and unfortunately ALL the tables were still dirty and not set with clean cutlery after guests had finished breakfast. I asked the hostess at the door why all the tables are still dirty and she just pulled her shoulders up. We found this to be rather disappointing. I would expect that as soon as guests get up from a table and leave the dining hall, staff would then clean the table and set-up for the next guests. Unfortunately this was not the instance here...

Ask for fridge but never had/showed up also not responding from staff. Entrance at gates- guard must make it clear to guests that the same ID must be used for entrants as well when exit the premises. In our case- Entrance Driver flying out of country the 9th and rest of guests had a unpleasant experience because the driver ID don't compare the Entrance ID. Previously never had that situation. Know Garden Court place GOOD security of guests first but had to take it up with guest with entance. Thanks Best Wishes

Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of variety and friendly staff. Shuttle service was very good. Nice bathroom. Wifi was good. Changed some money for us into lower denominations for tipping. Location perfect for airport. Grounds behind dining area look lovely.

No cupboard or wardrobe. Security floodlight lit up the room a bit too well. Could be directed along or away from the building. Minor traffic noise.

We struggled a bit to find the entrance to the hotel even though it was clear from the main road but after we left the road we couldn't find the entrance
